I was searching for a new provider and came across a doctor that I was interested in at Omega from my insurance benefits "find a doctor site" I called an left several messages on the telephone system they have, which by the way I have never came across a medical office where you had to leave all your information just to make an appt, for the most part you get to speak with a staff member. I went on the Omega website online and filled out the information for an appt as well. I did this several times remind you. I only received 2 calls back, which was two different times of the day. The individual that calls you, tells you to call back but you call back to the same jacked up system of leaving all your info all over again, and waiting yet again until a staff member decides to call you back. Omega scheduling system is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I can maybe understand calling and leaving your info originally, but when a patient or potential patient returns the call back, it should be someone there to answer calls period, that's unacceptable and I do NOT think it's very professional. If I am a potential patient that is really needing an appt asap, I do not have time to play the phone tagging with medical clinics that should have a more understanding medical scheduling system for not only Existing patients, but New patients. This whole experience has been a big turnoff, I do not care what type of providers this clinic has, and what I see on the website is mostly NP's anyways. Been calling for the past 3 days trying to make an appointment for my first check up since I found out I was pregnant. They ask to leave a voicemail and they will get back to you. Still waiting for a call back, while I continue to call each day but they seem too busy to call back let alone answer the phones. It would be easy to make an appointment online but I'm trying to change doctors since Dr.pickle never seem to take my concerns seriously since I was a first time mom. Told her I would stop breathing at night, took her like 3 months to agree to refer me to a sleep study. Only for me to be induced 3 weeks before my due date cause I went to the ER for pains and fell asleep while they were doing the paperwork to release me and they heard me stop breathing for a while and they were scared that my baby wasn't getting enough oxygen while I slept. Since I would stop breathing several times at night. To the point it got like that while I was awake. And doctor pickle wasn't even the one to deliver my baby. But her nurse practitioner was awesome she was the one I would see each visit cause she was too busy, only saw her like 3-4 time my whole pregnancy. read more

Nurse practitioner Jill brushes off patients. My cousin went in and was 1cm dilated last week and when she came back for her weekly check. Nurse Jill said she wasn't going to check her cervix even thought my cousin requested it because she has concerns!!!!! YOU CANT TELL HOW DILATED SOMEONE IS WITH THERE PANTS ON!!!! Long story short i was told the birth control i was on was making my period worst so i switched to the non hormonal copper IUD . A month later i ended up pregnant because the IUD wasn't inserted properly . Had a miscarriage and nearly died . Never again will i return to this establishment! TRAUMATIZED!! read more

Stephanie pickle was my Ob for 2 of my pregnancies I had loved this place and how professional they were up until she had her assistant fill in for appointments I had with her. I went in to get my iud a few months after giving birth and was not told that if I'm still breastfeeding the implant could go through my uterus. She had her assistant put the implant in and it hurt terribly but I was told this was normal. I then called after a month of continuous bleeding and pain and they said that it was normal. I scheduled an ultrasound to check if my iud was in place because I couldn't feel it and I would stop bleeding. When they did the ultrasound it was in fact not in my uterus, it had traveled to my stomach. That put my life in a very dangerous position witch they took absolutely no accountability for. My husband and I had to then figure out how to pay $5,000 for a surgery that could've been prevented. I couldn't get ahold of Stephanie pickle after that not to mention she never delivered any of my babies. She had someone else I never met do it. One of the most scary and disappointing situations I've ever been through. read more

went to this clinic trusted my doctor and when it came time to deliver my baby some random ass doctor came in and did a awful job pulled my child out of me with forceps broke her arm, and tore a arteary down there to were I bleed out and had to be rushed to surgery inpatient and completely worst experience EVER DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My fiance and I were happy and pleased about omega treating us with our first child, but we're gravely mistaken quick. Our doctor was not interested in helping us. We had test done on my fiance seeing if she had a uti at omega and they said it came back negative while weeks later she was hospitalized twice in a month and a half for a kidney infection. Omega and the doctor did not care for this issue. They did not call for checkups or anything. They do not care. All they care about is getting paid it seems. Till this day we have yet to receive any kind of health questions from omega following her being hospitalized. We have found a new obgyn clinic and doctor but omega seems to be stalling on sending medical records, even though the records have been asked for by us the patient and the new doctor. They do not answer phone calls or return voicemails. Omega is a UNPROFESSIONAL and DISAPPOINTING clinic. I don't even think new management could fix how bad they are. Went in as a walk in because of some persistent bleeding (I'm pregnant). Walked up to the receptionist and told her I was walk in, and before I could get the reason out I was cut off by "We don't take walk ins." I told her the reason why and she still very rudely said "we don't take walk ins. You should go to the ER." I was shocked. Something so important and urgent to me felt like an inconvenience to them. I understand if you don't take walk ins, but at the very least show some concern and compassion for your patients. read more

At ten weeks pregnant they were ready to do blood tests and genetic screening, but told me my appointment for a sono wouldnt be until the second appointment, as this is just a "missed period appointment" so they planned on testing my blood before seeing if my baby even had a heartbeat read more

I have been Dr Gordon's patient for almost 10 years, love him. Although Dr Gordon seems to be very busy with his packed schedule, he's very caring and patient with all my questions. Due to his busy schedule, the past couple years I had to see his PA for my annual exams, which is fine, Tej is also really good. However, this year I have changed my insurance carrier, and it made such a disastrous experience. The day before the annual woman exam, I sent the insurance info to the office manager, she emailed me back saying the visit should be covered 100% under preventive care. The day of appointment, the office check me in and out, never said a word about any balance. 2 months post appointment, a bill suddenly sent to me for $300 for well woman exam. I called the office, talked to the manager that handled my insurance. She now changed her tone and blasted on my face that it is my responsibility to check with insurance before the visit, her office people do not have time to check every single patient's insurance. This never happened to me before, as my understanding when they ask for my insurance, they should've checked and upon agreement of prices, service will be then rendered. Anyway, I did not want to argue with her over the fact that it already happened, I asked her for discount since it wasn't my fault that they did not check my insurance. She refused and her words has turned into an ugly tone as in I was begging her for free service. So ugly and hateful. I hate to give bad review since I love Dr Gordon and his PA but this office service is too shady and non-transparency. Then I found there's other reviews about similar experiences. Well Lesson learned. I guess they have so much patients they could careless about losing one or some. Please be careful if you choose to use this group, make sure to check with your own insurance prior to schedule with them. read more

I want to start off by saying, I never leave online reviews, good or bad, but my experience with Omega, Arlington and with Jasma has inspired me to do so. For point of reference, I am speaking as a (non-human) medical doctor. The first red flag should have been when I entered wearing my KN95 mask and was told by reception a mask was not required in their office - as if it was a selling point to being there and as if I was unable to read the posted signs myself. Clearly, if I walked into the office (which is within a hospital) wearing a mask there was a reason I chose to do so. Second, the medical assistant who took my history required me to spell nearly every medication I was allergic to or taking, many of which were common medications. This did not inspire confidence. Third, my experience with Jasma- where do I start. When I expressed several concerns to her relating to changes in energy levels/motivation, holding onto weight more easily, and diminished sex drive- she chalked it up to depression (which I have never had), getting older, and that I needed to make things more romantic and make sure the house chores were done! Jesus, I've always lived the single life and I have no children. I'm a highly successful professional. Romance and house chores have nothing to do with my drive! Is this the 1950s? Then, after questioning me about my eating habits (which are high protein, low carb/sugar/sodium, rarely eating out , portion controlled, and have been consistent for years) and exercise habits (5-7 days a week), she told me I needed to see a nutritionist because that was probably the root cause of my weight changes (for reference, I'm in no way overweight, just higher than is typical for my lifestyle and comfort zone). Everything has remained consistent with my habits, I was trying to tell her there was something wrong, either with my hormones, or otherwise and I felt like she blew me off. Then, as far as the pelvic exam went, some random woman (who was likely a medical assistant) walked into the room as she was about to get started. Jasma did not give any warning someone would be entering the room and she was very defensive when I questioned who that person was. Then, she cranked open the speculum way too quickly which of course was uncomfortable and I told her to stop. She closed and removed the speculum and then tried to leave without obtaining samples. She did not notify me she had not done so- I had to ask her before she walked out the door. Never once did she ask if I wanted to try again, she just told me I was uncomfortable and that made her uncomfortable. Are you kidding me? Making people uncomfortable is part of the job (not to mention communicating). I had to basically beg her to finish the exam and then instruct her to slow down when she was opening the speculum since that was the cause of the discomfort. As a female, I would think that information would be obvious, not to mention being covered at some point during her training. I'm not a cow. I've certainly been disappointed/irritated after some doctors appointments, but I've never been as upset as I was yesterday, nearly to the point of tears, over the way I was treated by Jasma. read more

Dr. Charmaine Oladell, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. delivered my daughter. She did a great job and was so sweet and just a great lady. I see Nannette Davies at the Grand Prairie location. She is an angel!! Warning::: I had seen Dr. John Pickel once for a LEEP procedure. Not only was his bedside manner terrible. He was very robotic, cold and didn't seem to care about how difficult this process was for me. For him it was just another day at the office. NOT to mention he didn't fully numb me, so there was a portion of the procedure that I was quite literally feeling EVERYTHING! It was excruciating!!! I was in so much pain I started coming off the table! He had a "tough it out" attitude about it! Instead of stopping and numbing me correctly!!! Horrible experience! read more

Staff never answers the phone. Doctors and nurse practitioners are awesome but the front staff is extremely rude and parking is terrible. They would not allow me to see the doctor although I was only 5 mins late. (There was bad traffic and I live 35 minutes away.) Then it took them 20 mins to make me a new appointment. Plus they opened the door while I was undressed on the table getting examined. Ive actually been walked past other patients and had to turn my head because I could see inside the room as we walked by. Very unprofessional staff, but the doctors themselves are super sweet and personable. My experience with the girl who took my blood was very good as well. No bruise at all and it didn't hurt and she was nice. I would recommend the doctors as long as it's with a full disclosure of the front desk situation and medical assistants. read more

Make sure you pack your bags.. toothbrush.. breakfast and lunch.. deodorant.. etc. I've never heard of or experienced such a long wait in a doctors office! Do not do not do not go here. Find a physician that cares about you and will actually help you and take their time with you. All they care about is cramming as many people that can fit through the doors so they can fill their pockets. The absolute worst! The lady in Billing gets over on people. She told me O would have to pay $200 for a sonogram. I called my insurance who advised my sono was covered and I would only pay $25 copay. The billing lady just says, ok. Thennnnn get pregnant, called to schedule my first Prenatal Appointment, the receptionist says, just to let you know there's a $300 fee towards your delivery! How, if it's covered under my insurance??!! This is a very shady, money hungry place! Never again! Called and made an appointment elsewhere who doesn't have unexpected fees and costs! Dr James pickel is the worst Doctor I've ever seen. He's rude, short, doesn't answer your questions or listen to you. I don't understand how he's still in practice & actually has patients. He told me that my issues were "due to being fat" which is untrue. Instead of trying to treat my hormonal imbalance his suggestion was to remove my uterus so that he could get some surgery time. There may be better doctors at this practice but whatever you do, don't see this man! read more

Up until today for my normal appointments with April, PA I felt I received great service. Well I finally met my Dr. Morgan due to the need for an emergency appointment and I felt after my exam violated, discounted and disrespectful by this doctor. The exam was so rough and painful I felt faint, dizzy afterwards. And I have never felt that way after a pelvic exam. I literally left in pain and in a daze. Needless to say I was will never go back. Terrible service at GP location. They don't tell you when you book the appointment, that you need proof you have paid your insurance. They will have you log into your insurance website, but god forbid your account has not been updated. It was clear that I had made a payment, and that they had received that payment, but the My Coverage page had not updated to show that. They said my only option was to pay cash to see the doctor. They didn't even offer to reschedule my appointment. I have never been asked to prove I have paid my insurance bill by a doctors office. This is just discrimination against people who have gotten their insurance through the Affordable Care Act. read more

Rude service, long wait, tried to blame me for not showing up to the appointment but we been waiting outside for over an hour waiting for a phone call. I even would walk up and talk to the nurse from time to time to ask about the wait. When they finally contact me they were trying to blame me for the wait saying they been trying to call my mom but why would they call my mom (who's not with me) when I gave the nurse my phone number twice and told them to call me. I'm a patient of Dr.Morgan before I went to this clinic I had already been to 2 other gynecologist and other doctors. I had ultrasounds and an MRI none of my previous doctors ever mentioned adenomyosis. When I went to my first appointment with Dr.Morgan I told him my symptoms and gave him my MRI report he knew immediately what was wrong. I knew I needed a surgery before this but doctors gave me different diagnosis and they were hesitant because of my age. I told Dr.Morgan I was sure I wanted surgery because it was too much already. He respected my decision and I am now 2weeks post op. read more

Just a thought regarding your Arlington office. You should inform your patients that no children are allowed in the office BEFORE they come for their appointment. No sign on the door or anything. I've never had this happen to us before. The lady at the front wouldn't even check us in until our kids were out of the waiting room. I saw an infant in there while we were leaving and was unsure why that child was allowed. The nurses are very rude don't seem to care about their patients. read more

So naturally I referred my 79 yr old mother to him but he did not take Medicare. So she was scheduled with John Pickle! OH MY GOSH!!! What a joke!! Is he seriously a doctor. First he didn't bother to even introduce himself when he entered. Then acted like we were bothering him. Then told my mom that the reason she was having problems was that she was OLD!!! WHO DOES THAT??? He was a FIRST CLASS JERK!! What a waste of 2.5 hours of our lives!! We were so offended by his presence, lack of professionalism and every time he coughed he sounded like a seriously massive chain smoker! I would NEVER recommend him to ANYONE!!! I believe the care I receive with Dr. Keith Storts is good enough. However, I haven't been to his office in the past five years when I haven't had to wait close to or over an hour just to be called back. Once called back, I meet with his nurse, and then wait up to as long as 30 minutes again before I see him. My time is totally disrespected by this office, which translates to me being disrespected. Let me start off by saying...Dr. Gordon is wonderful. It's the front office receptionist that are extremely rude. When I have gone to my appointments or even called, they're rude. All of them, always. I tolerate it because I do like Dr. Gordon and that is what really matters. But when they were rude to my niece that's a whole different thing and that's why Im writing this review. My niece had never been to a gynecologist. I felt that Dr. Gordon would be good for her since he explains everything and takes his time. Her first appointment we had to wait a long time for one. Second thing she didn't even see Dr. Gordon. She saw Dr. Martin's PRN, which was very nice. She was told to come back in three months. Again, we made an appointment with Dr. Gordon. Now it's almost time for her appointment and I get a call saying we needed to reschedule. My niece lives in Kansas so it's not so easy rescheduling. I called back, and once again very rude. The receptionist tells me, my niece HAS to see Dr. Martin because she saw April (his PRN). And that the doctors don't which patients back in forth. I explained to her we never had appointment with Dr. Martin originally it was for Dr. Gordon and we didn't have a choice once we got there. She rudely told me she would have to have her manager call me back. That was five days ago, and no phone call. Today I called and spoke with Debra. I explained to her, again. She had the nerve to say "She couldn't help it if the doctors take off." I understand that. But there is no reason to be rude, snotty or have an attitude especially in the job she has or any of the receptionist. I'm just glad I wasn't there at the office. By reading most of the reviews people are saying the same things about the receptionist. Do the doctors even read the reviews? I didn't want my niece having bad thoughts about a gynecologist's office especially since she didn't get to meet Dr. Gordon. Thanks Debra and all the rest of you. I've been a patient of Dr. Gordon for over five years. This year I decided to expand our family. Dr. Gordon's NP Teash (not sure about the spelling) is AWESOME, very informative and kind. Her and Dr. Gordon were very supportive and comforting every step of the way during my pregnancy and after. I love the staff here. Anything I needed, wanted or had a question about was fulfilled. I also delivered at MCA and stayed in the suite.. Great experience. Highly recommend Dr. Gordon and anyone who practices with him. read more

I had Dr. John Pickel Jr and he was VERY RUDE. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. I went to him for a pap smear and he was very robotic. He didnt introduce himself or try to be friendly at all. He came into the room and didnt say a word and started doing what he had to do. Then when I specifically asked for a certain kind of birth control pill he got an attitude and rudely said "well I've already sent your prescription to the pharmacy but I will change it because i didnt realize you had a specific kind you wanted". My overall experience at his office was not a good one and I will not be going back there ever again. The office is nicely decorated and clean but i will not pay to have a rude OBGYN. Horrible experience. Came early to beat the traffic. Appointment was at 10am. I get called in alittle after 10:05. I was told to take everything below the waist off and doctor will be in. Never once was I told that the doctor was behind or there would be a wait. The room was freezing as I was on the table with my bottom exposed only with a thin sheet even a child wouldn't use. I went through 3 magazines and listened to the "doctor" that was supposed to see me coughing and chatting with whomever right next door. So un professional and dis respectful. I have never walked out of a place ever. The office had the nerve to try to call me on my cell to tell me that the doctor now wants to talk to me. At this point, I say whatever! I drove to my primary doctors office to complain and ask for another referral. Never again would I ever step foot back in that place and I will let everyone I know not too as well.
