I ordered a cheeseburger with French fries and a half order of onion rings. I was surprised at the size of the cheeseburger not only that it was so delicious probably the best burger I'd eaten in a long time and the onion rings were wonderful to the point that I really enjoyed them. This restaurant has moved and is now located a little ways past the old Commerce emergency room on State Hwy. 24 South out of town. This place is much brighter with lots of windows and a light airy feel. The food and service were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and I highly recommend you give them a try. I got hired with them and was told I would get 40 hours a week the first week I got 23 hours ok no problem I'm in training second week they dropped me down to 13 hours and they fired me cause supposedly they have no hours to give me but yet one cook was working 16 hours as a cook and 10 hours as a server but I was an assistant general manager at a dennys that ran the whole restaurant by myself cooked served washed dishes but now u want to fire me cause u have no hours I call bullshit. They gave Brayden 45 hours plus but yet you got no hours for me maybe if they didn't favor people I would get hours not my problem u over hired and I don't take no bullshit from them read more

Came in for a quick breakfast and immediately felt at home with the comfortable vibe and friendly staff. The prices on the menu were very reasonable. I had the Mamma's platter with eggs, biscuits, gravy and bacon. The cook accidentally broke one of my "over medium" eggs (which I didn't even notice)... but he sent out an extra egg to make up for it which surprised me. We stopped by for some breakfast one morning and WOW! This place is seriously a hidden gem. The workers are friendly, the atmosphere feels like home, and you can tell this place works together with the community and other local businesses! You gotta love some good ole' southern hospitality. Side note: When we came in at first there was this NASTY lady parading across the restaurant insulting the workers and pushing past guests, but these ladies took it like a champ! The coffee is good, but the OJ is EXCELLENT! You can definitely tell it is freshly squeezed. The hubs orderdered the short stack, biscuits & gravy, and 3 eggs...his brain is always hungrier than his stomach, so of course he only ate about half, but he raved over how good it was. My friend/caregiver decided to treat me for weekend breakfast. We went early and there only were a few tables taken so we like the back booth and sat there. Our witress came over in a reasonable time period and gave us menus and we ordered fairly quickly with her saying our food would be out shortly,,,,and then we sat there and sat and Sat and SAAAATTTT...not getting any food. We noticed that the table of 4 men nearby also hadn't gotten any food and the wiatress had not come back and more people had come in but I never saw anyone get any food. So I walked up to the kitchen area where the cooks were certainly busy and wiatresses standing there and asked what the hold-up was. I was shi=ocked when i was toikd that a huge catering order had come in and they were a few staff peopl short!! Well their problem was now my problem.
