With great expectations, we went to OMG burger, thinking they were one of the best burger joints in the city, but I was dead wrong. I came out of that place with utter disappointment. The venue is smaller in size, but it was able to fit our party of 12-15 folks. I was the last one to arrive with my children. The rest of the family had already ordered. I went with a guaca burger with French fries, and my oldest son ordered the OMG Philly sandwich with French fries. The younger 2 went with kids hamburgers with French fries. The place was somewhat busy. Our food came in about 15 minutes. One of the children's French fries were missing, so I notified the cashier, and he advised me that a replacement was on its way. My guaca burger was just an ordinary burger with cheese and some guacamole pasted on the buns. There was nothing spectacular about it, that I could possibly brag. My son said that his OMG Philly was ok. He did not care for the sauce that was drenching inside the buns. He said that he has had much better Philly's in other places. The French fries were very dark and not golden crisp. They were soggy at the same time. My speculation is because they were possibly fresh cut, rather than frozen. If you really want a burger of flavor, then try Lankford, Stanton or Killen's. So it's about time for us to leave, and wait a min..... my son's missing fries have still not surfaced up. I went back to cashier, and told him to throw some in a bag for late night munchies. He completely forgot to bring a replacement earlier. We took the bag of fries with us, but they had completely dried out, by the time we got home, so they ended up resting in the garbage can. They have the new hipster, cool trending, soda machine rather than the traditional soda fountains. Also there are bottle soda drinks next to the soda fountain. Will I ever visit again...... probably not. read more

This place was a FLOP! Dirty tables, quiet service, and WAAAY overpriced food. I'm happy to pay for quality but I left very disappointed here. My wife and I both got guacamole burgers but they forgot to put avocado on both of them. The cashier was short and rude with me when I asked them to put avocado on the burgers. Took a long time to get them back ( and when they came back there were a few slices on each burger ). I cannot overstate how frustrating this experience was. I just wanted a burger. I paid $50 for two burgers, one side of fries and one drink for my wife and I to share. Terrible! Stay away! read more

Finally got to eat here but the chicken tenders are from restaurant depot and just battered in sauce. This is unacceptable for any halal restaurant to serve ready made frozen food. I assume the wings will also be from there. If I am to pay 6 bucks for 4 piece tenders I might as well make them in the comfort of my home. In fact feed 5 people in my house for 6 bucks worth wings. The burgers are subpar and basic. Skimping out on meat! Learn from the best in the game please. Go visit bismillah restaurant and attain some tips from the others in the game. I. e. Stanton city bites, m&m, etc. It is sad that there is no authenticity. My expectation is that restaurants compete and make unique, quality, and exciting food. I Ordered the Omg fries and they are usually the bomb without a question but this particular time I went not so much. Upon tasting them I noticed almost immediately that the cilantro that was sprinkled on it wasn't clean. You wanna know how I know, Well I was crunching on the dirt and sand that's on it if you try to go without washing it. My take is someone was in a hurry but to me the customer it ruined my experience. The sad part is I influenced another customer to buy some and I know they had the same experience as me. I felt embarrassed to upsale a dish with a slight mistake that could've been fixed by just washing the cilantro. The only reason this is getting a 3 is because the chili cheese fries were the best I've had in my life and the kids tenders were soooo good and well seasoned. I've been to OMG Burger twice already, but my second visit was better than the first. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because not every single item on the menu is worth getting. The first time I went there with a group of people, a lot of my friends didn't enjoy what they ordered. However, this time that I went, I ordered the sassy jalapeño burger with chili cheese fries which were absolutely AMAZING. I added some bacon and avocado to my burger which really hit the spot. I wish I remembered the mediocre items on the menu to specify for those who would rather avoid getting that item. I went on a Friday night and it was moderately packed but we got a seat right away. You can't ever go wrong with their classic OMG burger which my husband got and topped it with a fried egg. He LOVED that, and definitely recommends it to everyone! I've also gotten their vanilla milkshake which was yummy and definitely a treat after eating a delicious burger! read more

We came here for the kids eat free Tuesday. The place is cute but there was no one in there at nearly noon. That should've been my first clue. The cash register lady was sweet but completely clueless. Turns out you get one kids meal per meal you purchase. I get it but that was not clearly stated. Only that kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. I purchased their lunch special which also doesn't qualify for a free kids meal. Went the the restroom while we waited for our food. It was pretty dirty looking. Our food came out and there was no fries with the burger I ordered even though the gal told me it came with fries and a drink. Turns out, it doesn't. After a few nasty glares and glances the cook says "I'll just give you the fries". No apology or anything. It was a weird experience. The food tasted like nothing but salt. I'm not one to never finish my food but I couldn't finish the burger. I could tell it was going to give me high blood pressure. The fries, however, were divine. Fresh cut from potatoes and fried to crispy perfection and finished with tasty seasoning. Loved the fries. The rest, I could've done without. Dinner time and I wanted to get something halal for my kid and I have to say this place is the only place that hasn't reduced their portions ! With FANTASTIC help from Nina she recommended us ordering the kids chicken strip meal from here. The taste just seemed off a bit. My lady ate about the same amount of her burger as well. She said her favorite part was the Pepsi. The sweet potato fries were pretty good, the omg fries were actually really good, could've done without the cabbage. The order size is very big and it's literally covered in sauces. I loved their lemon pepper wings they have been consistent until my last order they were super salty where I had to trash them they were just way too seasoned. I hate if I add instruction to follow and they are not even entertained. Meh, was my first reaction and it didn't change. I ordered an OMG Original Burger combo. I really wanted to like this place because of Halal meat. Burger had a mayo based spicy sauce. I tried to whip it off but still it's flavor was overwhelming. Beef patty was dry and hard on the sides and moist in the middle. Therefore I didn't get the same experience on every bite. Fries were the worst part, they were extra fried and were completely hard. I'm sure they can improve quality of the food if there is proper attention taken during preparation of food. I still gave it three stars because this place had potential. Focus to details is needed or it'll turn into another forgotten desi burger endeavor. read more
