I followed that with English style Fish & Chips, and my friend went with Fried Stuffed Flounder and Breaded Eggplant. I think mine was made with cod. With a splash of Heinz malt vinegar the taste and texture were decent, but not what I devoured visiting England. The coined potato medallions were very good dipped in tartar sauce. The stuffed flounder seemed prefabricated and frozen rather than fresh and made in their kitchen. It was not what we were hoping for. The atmosphere of Under the Pier was actually the better part of the experience. Maybe their oysters and other locally sourced crustaceans are the better way to go to avoid freezer boredom.
