Stopped here to grab a quick lunch while waiting for my son to finish baseball down the street. This was name something else couple years back when I used to come here. Even with the new management, the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken tikka plate with rice, salad and naan. The chicken was tender, flavorful with a little kick at the end to bring the dish together. I enjoyed the food very much and I will be coming back next time when there is baseball. read more

Second time trying Adam Kabob & Grill in Morrisville and we'll be back again. Super friendly, very clean, helpful staff, option for dine in vs take out, parking lot takes credit cards. Fresh ingredients, cooked right in front of you vs in a back kitchen, so you can see how clean they are. Ordered lamb gyro platter with rice and salad and the salmon kabob which came over rice with salad. With choices of various dipping sauces. The salmon was so fresh and tasty as was the lamb meat, no dry pieces being cut off the spinning gyro shank like at many other places. Salad ingredients were all fresh. Not the best experience here recently. It was a cold day out, and the staff were wearing their coats to cook. When I entered, one man behind the counter was hollering in his language into a cell. He continued to do so throughout the time I waited for my order. He did move away when the other man came to take my order. He was apparently not familiar with the ordering and payment procedure, but he eventually got it worked out. Then I noticed he was also involved in a wireless conversation that continued as he cooked my sandwich. I noted that the restaurant phone would ring, and no one answered until maybe the third call. It was an order he stopped to take. I have to say that when I left, I felt like this wasn't a place I wanted to return to no matter how good my sandwich would be. Food is always made with attention to detail and love. Great for authentic Middle Eastern food. I always have a lamb dish and it's always fresh and flavourful. My girlfriend is vegan and also loves this place - from falafel and rice to curried chickpeas, cauliflower, and fresh salad there are plenty of options. Authentic afghan food with some dishes being more worth than others. So I decided to try this placed based on the fact of it being halal and having good reviews. I ordered the chicken tikka kabob platter and the Jahan style gyro wrap. The chicken tikka kabob platter was literally just 4-5 small pieces of seasoned chicken (without any flavor) served on a bed of afghan rice. For the price I wouldn't purchase it again. I wish the chicken had some more going on for it and that there was more chicken in it. (1/5). The Jahan style gyro wrap brought it home. It was essentially a gyro wrap with eggplants in it, and it was served with a side of salsa. They did not skimp on the gyro. There was protein in every bite, and it was priced nicely. (5/5). If I find myself here again then I'll be sticking with Jahan style gyro wrap, no need to waste money on the platters. read more

We decided to get some take out for dinner last night and decided to go with Jahan in Morrisville. We haven't been by in about a year and since we're big fans, we were excited to check back in and rediscover their food - which is still sensational! They put together a really delicious and flavorful meal of beef and chicken seekh kabobs, mounds of Afghan rice, crispy cauliflower and simple salad. Everything was delicious top to bottom and the price is eminently affordable. Five orders of kabob, rice, salad, and cauliflower came to just over $60. When you're feeding 5 people and you have still have boatloads of leftovers, $60 is a very good deal! I'm very pleased that Jahan is making excellent kabobs after my first visit 3+ yrs ago. This spot is so amazing. We never have had Afghan foods before and what an introduction to the cuisines. We found it randomly one day trying to search for ethnic foods in the area. We had the hummus, shramwa gyro, chicken kabob, a side eggplant, and two dessert bhaklava. All for $35. One advice is having a back up item that you would want before calling in your order since everything is made fresh so the restaurant may run out of a certain items. Took 15-20 mins for our order to be ready from calling to pick up. Not bad at all. My husband loves lamb and has a healthy appetite. He was thrilled that the gyros was packed with Shwama meat and was huge. The picture doesn't do it justice how big the meal is. We have lots of leftovers for the next day which is awesome. My wife and I ordered delivery from Adam Kabob through Door Dash. It arrived earlier than we were told, hot and fresh. It smelled so good that I couldn't wait to taste it! I was not disappointed. The food was fantastic, nicely spiced, and flavorful! My wife got the Chicken Kabob and I got the Lamb Kabob, both were tender and just perfect. The rice was very good and so was the salad. Recommended by a fellow coworker as I was looking for an alternative for a place where I could get a meal without having meat. Very small place within a mini mall of stores right after the bridge over the Delaware River. I chose the Signature Jahan Falafel on the Naan bread with the sautéed Cauliflower. The sauce which I would assume is some kind of Tzatziki Sauce made this sandwich all worth it. It had a mixture of veggie meat and mix vegetables. The sautéed cauliflower appeared more fried but it was also tasty. They have many meat options from chicken, lamb, veggie "steak" etc. Inside there's not much seating (5 small two seated tables) but the workers and owner behind the counter were very courteous and inquired about my experience as I was leaving. Although the portion size for the falafel wasn't huge, it was truly satisfying and I felt I got my monies worth. Plus, I know that small mom & pop shops are usually where it's at with flavor and Jahan surely delivered! I came in for lunch on the go and decided to order a conservative Chicken Gyro just to see how it went. Needless to say I was unable to make it to my next destination because the delicious smell of gyro penetrated the car and forced me to pull over for a bite. As a sat in a parking lot devouring my giant pita stuffed with deliciously seasoned chicken, lettuce, cucumbers, and finger licking sauces, I was so thankful that Jahan opened up so close to me. I was so impressed with the food, that literally the next day I was back! I tried to order something different, but why mess with a good thing? I did add an order of samosas, which unlike Indian samosas are flat, like quesadillas with potato and veggies inside. It came with this addicting green sauce, kind of like a creamy chimichurri sauce and I've decided next time I go in I will buy a bottle of the stuff from them because it was soooo good. All in all I am a Jahan believer! In closing, do the next three steps: 1. A chicken gyro - with hot sauce (it's mild) 2. First, I'm pretty sure we were charged $5 more that we should have been. The cook didn't ring our order up on the register so I'm not positive but highly likely. I'm not confrontational so we let it go. This place is a hole in the wall but we both enjoyed our meals. My fiancé had a classic lamb gyro - he said it was one of the best he's had. I ordered a Greek salad with gyro meat. It was HUGE! I really just ate the meat and cucumbers. It could have been three meals! We had a side order of the fried cauliflower - tasty and would be even better with a dip. Add two drinks and it cost $30. It should have been $25. But that's tzatziki under the bridge at this point. Given the lack of good restaurants in the area for lunch, Jahan Kabob is a welcome site. It may be a bit out of the way given it's location from the local business area of Trenton but there is ample parking once you've crossed the bridge to make up for having the drive over. (Alternatively one could also walk the bridge and be amazed by the number of spiders that dot the bridge in the summer, but I digress.) All the food at Jahan Kabob is cooked to order which increases the waiting time for lunch until you eat but it is worth the wait for quality. My favorite menu item has to be the persian eggs which are eggs sunny side up with spices and your choice of meat with home fries/bread. The portion sizes of the entrees are filling, definitely enough if not more than enough for lunch fare. There generally seems to be enough room to sit down and eat given, I've never encountered a situation where there was enough tables although they don't have many. The service is friendly and as quick as can be. So if you happen to be in the area and need a bite for lunch, drop into Jahan Kabob. read more

It's not a large place and it's very easy to miss in the shopping center it's located in, but the food there is great! My now wife and some of her relatives were coming over, and while looking for something local to pick up for dinner, I came across this place. Sounded interesting, so we ate that for dinner. Since then, I've bought food from them a few more times because the food is quality and at a reasonable price! The fried cauliflower is delicious though not really great for you. Got takeout from here on a Saturday afternoon. It's conveniently located right across the Calhoun Street Bridge on the PA side in a strip mall. I went in around 4:30 as I was heading home from my cousins house. I ordered a lamb over rice platter and chicken over rice platter. They were both delicious. The meat was mixed with lettuce, peppers, onions and some olives with white sauce. The two cost $23 but realistically the platters could feed two people each. One star lost because I waited for like ten minutes in a empty restaurant and the lamb was very salty. I think I caught them at an awkward time when they were precooking their meat to prepare for dinner rush, but I could have been warned. The staff was nice. Four stars. read more
