My GF and me went Sunday afternoon. Second time there. They have a diner menu that needs to be sized down, this way you know it was just made. I ordered the spinach pie and onion rings,, my GF ordered a Bloody Mary and a cheese dish. There were no onions in the rings, they were mostly over fried. I bumped into the love of my life here so it'll always be special to me even though they changed the look of it. Today my crepe took about an hour to come out and I had already had my drink and couldn't enjoy it together. The waitress was rude and told me it wasn't an hour and "I said ok like 45 minutes that's unacceptable". The customer is always right (I'm a waitress and would never talk back to my customer). The manager did come up to my table and apologized. He gave us the crepe on the house. That was the proper way to handle the situation and I appreciate it. Tip to the waitress it doesn't matter if something will take 2 hours you should constantly reassure your table and keep them happy and not talk back. The food is good. The establishment is very renovated, clean, and big. The area (well, from where I live) is convenient. They are open late (2am, but be there before 1 hot dishes). They have a (deliciously overwhelming) variety of desert dishes ranging from various cakes, cookies, and even mediterranean deserts such as baklava I was happy to see. However, given the price- the customer service is to be left desired. This has been based off over a handful of visits now. If it means anything- it has been usually late at night (11-2) but I feel as if that's not excuse, if you're open- decent customer service should still be there. Wasn't served with menus until 15 minutes after sitting.. didn't get our drinks.. no (time frame) about 30 minutes after ordering on *when* they food (a panini and savory crepe) should be expected to be out... Any who... Sure, try it out if you're in the area. Would I go out of my way? Great FOOD menu. Great, meaning, there's a great variety from high(er) end steaks to comfort food like panini's, salads, wraps and burgers. Hard to tell from walking by because there are so many desserts featured in the cases but the food is quite nice, and I mean that. I used to be a regular here a few years ago and for some reason stopped coming. I recently came back get some desert with friends. I had the banana split with tea, it was really yummy! The ambiance of the place is nice whether you want to come here for a date night or with just some friends. In the summer, ask to be seated outside because it's very nice there. I went back again and the the cheesecake and it was also amazing! The staff is ok which is what I took a star off for. The Food has gone down hill. I have ordered here for the past two years. It used to be really good and the desserts used to taste amazing. For the past couple of orders over the past year, the desserts (specifically tarts and pastries) taste like chemicals and have an odd chemical aftertaste. It tastes like a weird soap. Came here for a bday party with about 18 people. The owner was pretty pissed because we were late and was really mean at first. For some reason over the night he got flirtier and closer and closer to the girls of the party. By the end of the night he treated us to shots. Kinda creepy. Waiters and waitresses are non-attentive and slow. The vodka penne is delicious, and so are the fruity mixed drinks. The really bland tasting food (to my surprise) were the desserts I got! The cannoli and Eclair literally had the same cream filling and it was so tasteless. I passed them around the table and they were left half eaten at the end of the night. The red velvet cheesecake was moderately ok. Kudos for the outside decor of their wall of pots, great for photos! Upstairs area is a NO NO if you want to talk. This place has changed a lot, it looks so much nicer now and I really enjoy coming here. During the day I like to get a table on the first floor where it's much more casual and family oriented. I also like to stay outside in the yard when it's summer time it's very nice and a good ambience. In the evening, I would go upstairs where it's much more like a lounge and you can sit down and eat with friends and enjoy some good food and drinks. Their service is normal nothing crazy. Our waiter was nice but I feel like our waiter was serving 10 tables at a time while the other waitress just stood there and didn't even do anything. I just think it was lame because if I needed something I had to wait for my waiter until I didn't need it anymore. It wasn't his fault though because he was too busy serving tables while the other waitress was staring into space as customers arrived to their tables. I ordered the grilled chicken panini, which was no panini. I didn't know a panini included pita bread. It was soft and not crispy the way a panini should be. I didn't enjoy it but I was hungry and when you're hungry you will eat anything. I also tried my friends panini that she got with ham and beef, and it was cold. A PANINI in my opinion should not be cold, the cheese should be melted and sticky, so I was not happy with my order or my friends order. Their paninis sucked and they were pricy. The fries? Can't speak for the desserts. Though for the food honestly it's kinda sad. Don't know why they changed their fries. The delivery container is often strangely wet (I'm assuming their just cleaning em). But at least dry them off after. I usually order around 10/11pm and honestly that's the only reason I get from this place because it's open late and I don't know where to get wraps that late. I wish they had a better wrap selection but the chicken wrap is pretty good. Sometimes tho it's dry and needs more honey mustard. The worst is sometimes they just choose not to put ketchup and Mayo on the side even if you write it in the instructions. It's like a surprise if ur gonna get it and not the good kind. I've had questionably service moments with their employees. Long time costumer, but sadly I'm dropping this place. Gonna find new place. Tried giving it one more shot. Wrap had no flavor taste.
