It was great for us to build a rapport with one team who both picked up our whole house and delivered it to in Vegas. We had lots of vintage furniture and art, and we knew we needed some extra help to ensure that items were carefully wrapped, stacked, and packed onto the truck. To start, the two movers were kind and polite - I want to give them credit for that. My reservation was for 12 PM, and I was told they'd arrive between 12-1, but I didn't receive a clear heads-up on timing and they showed up at 11:58 AM. They began billing as soon as they arrived, and since I don't live on-site and was running behind picking up the truck, I ended up being billed for that time. I understand part of that is on me for running late, but clearer communication would have helped. Unfortunately, the actual move is where things went downhill. Furniture was dropped, pushed through doorways, and not handled with much care. I have a white couch that I've kept in great condition, and they laid it on its side and dragged it across the floor of the storage unit and truck. By the end, it was covered in black dust. At the time, I was trying to be understanding and didn't say much - especially since the manager asked for feedback over the phone while I was standing right next to the movers. After everything was done, I discovered damage to multiple door frames in my home. That was the tipping point for me. I now have to pay for repairs and likely professional cleaning for the couch. this place is scammy as hell…read more.. i accidentally booked an appointment online looking for a simple quote. one king size mattress pickup. no problem, i called them and asked if i could get a quote for the service i just booked. she quotes me $149. not a great price but i guess it could be worse (spoiler, it DOES get worse). i mention the $20 discount that i receive for booking online. she tells me that i have to mention it to the driver when they get here. no problem. so i should be paying $129.00 day of, right? wrong. the driver shows up today and immediately says "so i have to charge you more money." of course you do. he tells me that even though i listed the pick up as "one king sized mattress" and that is what the quote is for he would still have to charge me a $30 mattress fee for him and his partner to remove it... so what was the first quote for in the first place? for you to just LOOK at my mattress? my quote is now $179 with their convenient little fee. he tells me that the call center that i spoke with in regards to my quote doesn't have the correct pricing or information, which sounds a lot like something YOU AS A COMPANY need to fix, not expect your customers to pay for in extra hidden scummy fees. he did honor my $20 off booking online coupon and he did remove the singular mattress that i asked for, which is why you get two stars. but your company is a scam and will do anything to pinch a buck out of unsuspecting customers. do better. disgusting customer care.
