Wow! Thanks so much for your help Jeremy! After moving into our townhome this morning we discovered that the hot water heater pilot light had gone out. We called another plumber's # that was on the water heater and they gave us an estimate of 1 hour for their plumber to come over. After waiting 5 hours and still no technician we called On Call Plumbing. Jeremy soon called my husband back and talked him through lighting the pilot without even charging us a service call. Avoid at all costs. We had a sewer main back up on a 100+ year old house and called On Call for help. They were able to get there in a couple hours. They replaced a clean out on our drain line, sent a water jet through the pipe and showed us a video afterward. The bill was in excess of $1,000. Called to complain, but to no avail. I had someone come and look at the drain to have it replaced, they said they have never billed a customer more than $400 for the same work done by On Call. Never again. read more

This review is a little late, but dealing with a remodel and had no internet for a bit. Found Jeremie through Yelp when my remodeling contractor found cracked waste line pipe during our renovation. Jeremie was everything Yelp reviewers claimed he was. He was very quick to respond and fit us in to be seen. His sense of urgency is high, as it should be with plumbing issues. He has a wealth of information in dealing with insurance companies and looking for options for repair. He clearly identifies issues, explains options, gives cost estimates and is very reasonably priced. He tackles difficult situations head on (like digging down 8 feet to repair piping) and resolves matters quickly and cost effectively. I'm so impressed with Jeremie and On Call Plumbing! Our water heater was leaking and in a terrible state, but we work 12 hour days during the week and it's difficult to get a plumber on the weekend. I was very stressed about when I was going to be able to coordinate service, and the estimates I did get were awful. I sent On Call a quote request through Yelp, and Jeremie gave me a call about 10 minutes later if that. Once he got the information, he made what I thought would be an inconvenient process super easy for me! I came home to hot water again, and I didn't even have to try to get out of work early because he worked with me and my schedule. Before, I had what plumbers call slab leaks before, I did not expect to receive the service I received on 4-27-14 due to the fact that I have had bad experiences before. Is this company for real? I used this company for a tenant in Palmdale. Jeremy's service visit consisted of a telephone call. My tenant told him the water heater was not working and he said he would "order the part." 5 days later (still with no hot water) Jeremy finally got approval from the warranty company to proceed with repair - so he decides then to order the part (2-3 days for the part to get there). Meanwhile, I send another plumber to re-light the water heater (Voila - hot water - would have been solved with an initial visit but that would have been too much trouble). Over a week later, Jeremy shows up with the magical part and realizes the water heater is turned on and producing hot water. Rather than install or replace a possible faulty part, he decided that he has too much "integrity" to fix what may have caused the water heater to go out in the first place. My tenants sure appreciated one week with NO hot water because these guys are too lazy to come out for a service visit when called and then order a part that they later decide is not needed - seriously? read more
