I got a quote for $150 for the job. It was to replace three lights out in my backyard that are censored. He had to go to the store and bought two small parts. I asked him how much I/O him he said $300. I paid him with a check. I laid her on text him and I asked him why was it another $150. He said because he bought the two parts which was $20 and to fix them it was $130. The $150 was to see what the job was. If I would have known that I would have not hired him. He had fees that I didn't even know about and he did not tell me about them upfront. To me that was being dishonest. It's too bad. read more

Personally Josef is very nice, easy to deal with. However, I am very disappointed with his work. We wanted him to do a couple of bath fans and fix some outlets. The bath fans were installed but there was drywall dust all over. I had to a lot of clean up after him. The contractors that do repeat work for me leave the home as they saw it when they entered plus the one job they do. I do not like drywall dust, sawdust, nails, screws, etc. on the floor after the job that is not cleaned up. I like contractors that anticipate the mess and plan for the clean up. My sockets are circa 1965, I wanted them replaced with new. Existing sockets needed some relocation. None were replaced or relocated. Unfortunately, my wife is not very good supervising, and he seemed to have taken advantage of her lack of knowledge. Also he charged a lot of money for the job he did. I did not argue or negotiate and paid him immediately. However, he just lost a customer for good. He will never be back to work for me. read more
