First I must say, this restaurant offers amazing views. When we arrived, we made reservations in advance and requested a table that's views the water. The service was outstanding here as well. Every single staff member was so kind and helpful. And for the main part, the food, everything was excellent. We tried the chipotle bbq burger and the seafood linguine. Both were so good and I recommend them both highly. I love myself a good tasty burger, and that's what you will get here. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake, and this was the perfect choice to end the evening. We will be coming back for sure to try some additional menu choices. read more

Went there recently (February/off season) the view of the marina is pretty although too cold to go outside and walk around. The seafood was fresh and nicely fried (you can taste it's not old oil) baked and broiled pending our dishes. Flavorful, will be back to try the other dishes. Friendly service and staff all around. Came here to celebrate a birthday and it was LI restaurant week. Once you approach the restaurant, it is obviously the main attraction on the block. You can't miss it. When you go in, there is a room for bar partons on your left and the restrooms on your right. You walk down a short hallway to see the host. Unfortunately, you couldn't make reservations ahead of time, so go early or be prepared to wait. They have outdoor seating except that day was a bit windy and once the sunsets, it would be cold. We opted for indoor sitting. We gave the hostess a name and contact number then wait 25 minutes for a table to be available. Travis, our waiter, made our evening memorable by his friendly nature, keeping our glasses filled and checking in on us to make sure we are doing well. If you are expecting complimentary Bread Basket, don't. We decided to order from the restaurant week menu: Appetizers: - Baked Clams Casino: pretty good - Lobster Bisque Soup: had bits of lobster too - yum! Entree: the dishes were large - Beef Short Ribs with Vegetables and Mashed Potatoes: - Linguine di mare with shrimp, scallops, and clans in a marinara sauce: this was delicious Dessert: - Carrot Cake - a bit dry - Vanilla Ice Cream This place has a great view of the docks and great landscape though the sunset might be a bit too bright in the late afternoon. We found this place last year on out way to Hamptons. Everyone in my family loved this place. So everyone asked if we could go back last Saturday when we were in the area again. I've had a place on the north fork for over 25 years and I can't believe this is the first time I've been to on the docks had a great dinner outdoors last night. The steam clams appetizer was terrific with a unique spicy Cajun sauce that was just right. I also had the black and salmon which was cooked to perfection with a side of rice and grilled vegetables. It was the perfect meal. Our server was cheerful and efficient and we had the opportunity to chat on the dock with other cordial patrons. We met four friends there for dinner. We landed outside on the deck, overlooking Meeting House Creek, which connects to Flanders Bay. There is a sail-like covering which shields you from the sun. Food was typical Hampton fare. My wife raved over the Blackened Cod, which was recommended to her by waitress Susan, who was excellent. The men mostly has steaks which were fine & suitably priced. This is one of my favoriate places to go in the nice weather. Sitting outside is the best since the view is beautiful! We went back here after Covid and were happy to see that nothing had changed. The service was great, the food excellent and the whole atmosphere was back to normal. I spoke to the manager to let her know, and she said they were lucky to have all of their staff with them and they never left, like some other restaruants when things were closed down. You can tell that everyone loves working there and that they are like one big family. The inside of this place is also really nice and you do have waterviews, so you can go no matter what the weather is like. They also have an awesome bar and bartenders. It's also a great place to go and watch football, and just hang out for the day. No one rushes you and you can hang out as long as you like watching the games. Love this place! :-) read more

I was at Jason's Vineyard and after drinking on an empty stomach, I needed FOOD! I searched on Yelp and this restaurant was the closest one nearby. When we pulled up, we were quite impressed. It was a cute little waterfront restaurant. We decided to eat at the bar, which at that time was empty except for one other gentleman. The bartender handed us menus and took our drink orders. I decided to go with a Chocolate Martini, and it was really delicious. I might have had 4 of them! For food, I got cheese fries and a Greek Salad, LOL talk about balance! The location is beautiful, but the food is lacking in many ways. The steak sandwich was inedible, we rarely send anything back but it was not cooked properly and apparently of a poor quality. To say it was chewy would be to kind! The chicken wing appetizer was sub par and lacking flavor in spite of the buffalo wing sauce. The burgers were adequate, nothing special about the fries and or the onion rings. They were still busy later on a Sunday evening but the service was choppy and unprofessional. Very disappointing as this location is very near to home for us and we would enjoy going back for the atmosphere. They have a lovely view overlooking the marina. Hopefully management will not overlook these flaws as it will be full season soon. Reputation is important on the North Fork and I'm hoping that they will step up their game. read more

It's a little off the beaten path, but you drive to this water view restaurant and your expectations are overwhelmed. There is a beautiful spacious bar as you walk in , further tables inside and you can also sit outside by the water when the weather is nice. Sometimes they have a guitar player on hand. The menu is rather extensive, but everything you see is something you'd want to order and everything I have ordered has been terrific.The bartenders and waitresses are extremely attentive and friendly, I go well out of my way to drive there just for the vibe. The scenery alone on a beautiful day overlooking the water watching boats go by is enough to bring you to On the Docks. They do have high chairs but no kids menu although there are certainly options you can do (like quesadillas). Don't expect to see a tun of small kids there, it's not that kind of place but the servers were more than accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our meal. Oysters tasted great, nice and juicy but could have been shucked a little better with less grime. Ether way we will be coming back. read more

Great seafood, stellar service, awesome atmosphere and great view. They were very welcoming to our large, docile, senior Akita. They were happy to have him as a guest in their restaurant and brought him a bowl of water right away. We were seated at a nice table under a canopy on the dock. We had yummy pina colada's, flounder stuffed with spinach and feta, and linguini with little neck clams. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Good wine selection. The chicken Wings were great as were the main courses. So i had this plate grilled fish and broccoli I asked the waitress for some lemon wedges she quickly told me they were out of lemon. I asked to speak with the manager, after asking her about the lemons she told me that there purveyor Cisco did not deliver , I asked how long they were out of lemons and was astounded when she told me two days. After making excuses I asked her why hadn't she send someone to the supermarket to buy some lemons, she was dumbfounded, i guess i'll call the boss she said. I'm sorry how can you not have lemons at a fish restaurant for two days. read more

I was a little concerned before visiting based on other reviews but this place was a winner! Had outdoor dining option with great water view. Interior also looked very inviting. As for the food- they had options for our group that all enjoyed. Large size portions and fair prices. In addition the cocktail menu included adventurous options such as the bossy pumpkin--spoiler alert- delicious! Location was off the beaten track- something hard to do in that area. Staff was professional and very efficient. Finally even on a busy October Sunday afternoon our group was not rushed. All 8 of us agreed it's in the 'must return' list. read more

We started off with drinks and oysters, then he got the lobster bake/boil and I got the stuffed flounder. My fish was lacking a nice presentation but it was really good. My husband enjoyed his lobster and the oysters were very good although not the best we've ever had which was fine. We are confused by the recent negative reviews as we had a positive experience. We heard about this place and been wanting to try it and decided to go for it on a Thursday evening. When we approached the parking lot, it was packed and we got nervous but upon entry realized there was a private party in a private area of the restaurant. We were seated immediately with one of the best tables in the house, which had direct water views (there are several tables of four with water views). Upon being seated, we could not have been planned our timing better and was treated with a beautiful sunset as we dined and enjoyed watching local residents fishing on the water (or they were attempting, we didn't see any catches). Throughout the evening, the service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food served had generous portions and overall was beautifully presented and delicious. I had the avocado wedge salad, which was served with a huge wedge and the dressing ample and delicious. For my entrée, I had the blackened cod and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The roasted vegetables were slightly overcooked, but still had enough bite and were seasoned deliciously. My husband started off with the seafood bisque, which he enjoyed, and had the spinach feta stuffed flounder for his entree, which was a special dish for the evening. He enjoyed both but said the spinach feta filling was a bit too much for the flounder, however the flavor was delicious. Five stars for views, ambience, and service, and four 1/2 stars for the food. The food was good and fresh. The service was great. The only think i woud like to comment on - cocktails and bugs. The cocktails had so much ice in it. They use tall glasses and the ice made the drink watered down. l Lacked punch they could have had. Would be nicer if they gave it in shorter glasses with less ice. Bugs - we were there for dinner at 6.30 and we were bitten alive along with our neighbors. Luckily a couple had some bug spray that they lent it to all of us. No fun having dinner in a nice setting and been bitten. Would be great if the restaurant kept some bug spray of put some mosquito and insect zappers. read more

Formerly Phill's waterfront, this is one of my family's favorite restaurants. New owners Gus and Laurie are lovely and eager to please. Very similar menu to the last restaurant, food quality seems to have improved though. For those that have a boat, there are a few dock spots reserved for the restaurant use. As with all waterfront restaurants on the east end, there can be a bit of a wait Friday and Saturday night so go a little early and have a drink at the bar (inside or outside bar). While they could use a little more speed in the kitchen the food is always delicious. Burgers, seafood, pastas, entrees they have a little bit of everything and I really don't think I've had anything bad. I really like the grilled chicken panini, the chipotle mayo has got quite the kick. They also have my favorite beer (Kona) on tap and I hear they will be getting their own beer soon... Our favorite bartender Lauren always has a smile on her face and is very attentive even when it gets busy. Live music most saturdays goes great with the sunset view on the docks. read more
