Upon checking in, we were greeted with a complimentary drink and free WiFi. Karina handled our check-in and was absolutely wonderful--extremely amicable, professional, and the perfect example of excellent customer service. The Atmosphere & Unique Daily Themes One of the coolest features of this hotel is the daily theme hosted in the lobby: Day 1: A complimentary snack cart stocked with chips, candy, and water. Day 2: A fun trail mix station. A bourbon and burger event offered at a very reasonable cost. On our second day, we interacted with Rashad, who was also the absolute epitome of customer service. The staff here truly goes above and beyond. The Rooms & Amenities The rooms are incredibly large, spacious, and well-designed. Our room faced the mini-field at The Star adjacent to the hotel. Even though the hotel was completely at full capacity during our stay, the room was remarkably quiet. The soundproofing is top-notch. The bathroom was equally spacious. We did have one minor hiccup where a provided bath towel was visibly dirty, but the staff handled it flawlessly, immediately exchanging it for fresh linens the next morning. The pool area is beautiful, and both the bartenders and pool attendants were incredibly attentive and quick with their service. Dining & Events We spent some time at Neighbors, the on-site bar and restaurant, and sat on the patio to people-watch. There are also plenty of other great restaurants within short walking distance. As for the birthday celebration, the event space was stunning. The decor leading up to and outside of the ballroom was beautiful and incredibly well-executed. The event food and drinks were great overall; the only minor drawback was that the fries were a bit too salty, but the rest of the meal was delicious. A Special Highlight As an added bonus, Samuel L. Jackson was filming a spinoff of Tulsa King right when we arrived! Despite the production hustle and bustle, the hotel staff did a seamless job of accommodating regular guests and maintaining a premium experience. In closing, I highly recommend this property for its spacious rooms, stellar location, and a team that truly understands hospitality. We will definitely be back!

The pool area was good and our server was super helpful the afternoon we were there. The bad....we checked into our adjoining rooms and they both had this weird smoke smell. We asked to be moved but they couldn't move us to different rooms. Someone came in and sprayed some air freshener instead. One of the adjoining doors was broken and wouldn't stay open so maintenance had to come fix that. The closet doors also would not close all the way so the light stayed on all night. The room was damp. When you woke up in the morning, everything and I mean everything, was cold and damp. Even my shoes. The duvets seemed like they hadn't been replaced since they opened. They were paper thin and all the feathers were clumped together and uncomfortable. On Friday and Saturday night they had a bar and snacks out, but once everyone checked out on Sunday it was like a ghost town. Sunday night there was no bartender at the bar, no snacks out and no water in the lobby. For the price I was very disappointed and would not recommend it. I only gave it 3 stars because of the staff.

The parking lot was clean, well lit and not terribly far from the venue. Upon entering I stopped by the bathroom for a quick mirror check. Gorgeous decor, new fixtures and flooring, clean. After the bathroom, I headed to the main banquet room where the formal dining was to take place as well as the happy hour portion. There were only 2-3 bartenders but it wasn't an issue. No wait longer than 90 seconds and the staff was extremely helpful. The outside foyer was gorgeous and heated for those who wanted to partake in the outer bar. Food was delicious. Please review below: I contacted Caroline on August 29 at 10:58 to gain access to the lodging. She informed me of the entry gate code and told me to refer to the document details for the house code. The groundskeepers were still working at the rear of the house as well as at the venue. I was unable to access or utilize the garage space for storing event supplies, necessitating the transport of supplies into the house. The maintenance crew indicated that all of their supplies were present but could not be utilized. I sent Caroline photographs depicting the damage in the basement refrigerator and the old items that had been left behind. There was no toilet paper available in the restrooms. At 5 PM, I texted Caroline to inform her that the showers in the two restrooms were not functioning. Our guests were informed by your maintenance crew that the lodging had not been booked or used for some time. This situation caused an inconvenience that delayed our rehearsal by 30 minutes, as we had only 1.5 hours to rehearse and unpack the ceremony supplies. On August 30, as I was preparing food, I noticed that the kitchen sink was draining slowly and that the ceiling light above the sink was leaking because of the rain. Additionally, the garbage disposal was not functioning. As I was loading my car with supplies to leave the lodging, I found that the gate was stuck. I called Caroline to notify her of the issue. Ultimately, I had to climb over the gate to gain access at the entryway and walk back to my car in the rain. I was informed that you were upset about the grass before what was an extremely stressful day before the wedding ceremony. There was a lack of empathy in waiting until the event concluded or having a side discussion about it. During our conversation 30 days prior, I inquired whether we could bring the golf cart. I was assured that we could, and no guidance or policy was provided. Furthermore, I have never heard of a golf cart damaging grass. The venue's ceiling was leaking at what we refer to as the altar. Considering all of these factors, it is reasonable to conclude that you did not adequately check the lodging to ensure it met the standards necessary for guests to experience and enjoy quality family time. We were also advised that we could check in at midnight on August 29, while we had guests sleeping in their rentals and spread throughout the home. Caroline is a kind person who genuinely tries her best. However, I would not recommend Red Barn to anyone. Lodging should never be offered if it has not been properly prepared and thoroughly checked before guests arrive. Furthermore, I am requesting the complete reimbursement of my deposits for the venue and accommodation, as well as a reduction in the cost of this experience. Thank you

The only thing that was really great was the cream brûlée French toast. Too expensive for what we were served. I doubt We will be returning. It seems they had little experience in how to run a successful buffet. I hope they can do better in the future because it has potential. I wish them luck, but it will be a pass for us in the future.
