Mike and his technician team at Top Notch Tunes were incredible to work with. From start to finish,…read morethey were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. They took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions, and never made me feel pressured. The install was super clean and professional, and the sound quality is unbelievable. Everything sounds crystal clear and the bass hits perfectly. You can tell Mike and his team take a lot of pride in their work and treat your car like it is their own. What really stood out was that even a year and a half later, when something sounded a little off, Mike was there for me right away and made sure everything was taken care of. That level of customer service is hard to find these days. If you are looking for someone to upgrade your audio system, I highly recommend Mike and the team at Top Notch Tunes. Great customer service, great work, and great results.

I paid this installer $150 per hour to install my car audio system. While the system functions, I…read morewas disappointed with several aspects of the installation quality and attention to detail. The amplifiers were mounted inside the wheel well area, but when it came time to reinstall the trunk floor cover, it would not sit flat because the amplifiers were mounted too high. Instead of redesigning the installation so everything fit properly, the subwoofer enclosure had to be forced into the trunk, leaving a noticeable hump in the trunk floor. For a professional installation, I expected all factory panels and covers to fit correctly when the work was completed. I am also concerned about the amplifier placement because the amplifiers become very hot after driving on warm days. While I understand that amplifiers generate heat, mounting them in a confined area with limited airflow does not seem ideal for long-term reliability. Another concern is the grounding configuration. The capacitor was grounded directly to the battery, and both amplifiers were grounded through the capacitor rather than using a local chassis ground. While there may be technical reasons for this approach, it was never explained to me, and it differs from what many installers typically do in trunk-mounted systems. Better communication regarding the design choices would have been appreciated. Overall, the system works, but the fitment issues, equipment placement, and lack of attention to the finished appearance left me disappointed. For the price charged, I expected a cleaner installation, proper fitment of the factory trunk components, and a more professional final result.

I got an email shortly after the inquiry was sent to come in and chat more about my project. From the initial meeting with Inti, at the front sales, my impression of the shop was that they were very trustworthy from their overall knowledge, recommendations and experience. They weren't pushy in trying to sell me things I didn't need as they utilized the understanding of my usage I communicated to them. Inti even pulled out a sample tire from inside the shop up to my truck so I can get a better visual of what my project may look like. I appreciate customer service like this where you don't feel rushed and the rep really spends time to understand what you want. I kept seeing Advanced Trucks on my way through Morgan Hill and I wanted to patronize this independent shop rather than going to a chain 4x4 shop. I'm glad I did as I am thoroughly happy with the final product. Inti kept me in the loop on the progress, checked in when needed, gave me an accurate timeline and delivered within that timeline. The paperless contract was also a nice touch which made everything easy to access and pretty transparent as far as costs were concerned. I definitely will come back to this shop if I ever need anything else in the future. Thanks Inti, Joseph and team for getting me setup right and one step closer to my dream rig!

Had it installed by a professional company. 14 months after the fact, the wrap started changing color and looked burnt. I never car washed the car. It was always hand washed so the issue wasnt washing it. When I contacted them, they told me in southern California they warranty covers only 13 months and they its due to sun and how I park my car possibly The offered to reprint the panel and charge me again for it although it would be a different color and mis matched w rhe rest since It would be a new print. Products sometimes goes bad absolutely understandable but for something that would cost u north of 5k to last only a year and then they resell u the same thing rather than taking responsibility I was trully disappointed. I have other wraps on my other cars from other comapnies and non have changed color even after 3 years so it cant be the area rather the quality of the material. I wish someone would tell me this before I would spend so much money on it. Hope this would be a eye opener for others thinking of it. I took more pictures and this is in a span of 2 weeks. the deteriations is significant and the companies claim of this being due to the heat is not true since Los angeles hasnt even been hot yet.

I wanted to do something special for my wife at the conclusion of the year (2018). The holiday…read moreseason is extra special for our family not only do we have all of the holidays, my birthday, but we also have our anniversary just after the new year and my wife just graduated from Penn State or at least completed all of her classes for her degree. So, it was indeed a special time of the year for her. My wife's dad always had a Z car when she was growing up and when the Z32 model came out in the early 90s she wanted one but was never able to get one and it became her dream car. So, I thought it would be a great idea to find one and buy it for her. Which brings me to Full Throttle Auto Sales, after hours, days, weeks of searching and looking at junk 300zx from the early 90s that should be towed to the junk yard, I found one reasonably priced at Full Throttle Auto Sales. I sent Jim an email and asked the basics questions and was able to schedule a time to talk to him over the phone. I told him my story and my requirements around acquiring a car. Jim is easy to talk to, down to earth, not pushy, and he went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable about the car. We drove up to Morgan Hill and meet him in the early morning. He greeted us with a smile and gave us space to crawl over the car and tossed us the keys and told us to take it around the block and to come get him if we had any questions. We made up our minds and the process to purchase started. Normally buying a car makes me want to tear my eyes out. But the hardest part of this process was making the decision to buy a 30-year-old car with no SS or Z28 badge on the grill... (Maybe next time Jim) But, hey the car is for my wife not me and she loves it. Thirty maybe forty-five minutes later we were done and on our way back home. Jim was accommodating, he went the extra mile to make us happy with the purchase, and he made the paperwork process as painless as possible and he has since followed up to make sure that we are enjoying the addition to our family. I recommend Full Throttle Auto Sales to anyone looking for a specialty car, hot rod, or anything out of the ordinary. Their inventory is impressive, their staff is knowable about cars (which I believe is rare), If they don't have it in stock I bet Jim can find it and at a reasonable price. Full Throttle Auto Sales' show room is well organized with lots to see that will catch your attention and spark fun stories and exciting opportunities for some lucky buyer! The most important thing, is that their facility is well maintained and very clean and decorated. The attention to detail is evident simply by looking around the facility. Thank you to Jim and the staff at Full Throttle Auto Sales for making this 1990 300zx Twin Turbo an extra special gift and a dream come true!
