Hidden gem alert…read more Whiskey Creek Hideout has quickly become one of my favorite places to bring my son. It's such a beautiful little escape and the perfect spot for a family day out. For only $6 per car, you can enjoy the creek, walk over to the beach, rent kayaks/paddleboards, grab food, drinks, and the most addicting slushies! I was definitely nervous the first time coming here alone with my son, but now I feel like a regular and it's become one of those places I genuinely love making memories at. The area is clean, relaxing, and the sweetest lady running the food stand makes the experience even better. A true South Florida hidden gem that I hope becomes a staple in my son's childhood.

Everything was smooth from the time I arrived 7am to going out and coming back without issue Had lunch about 1/2 mile down at Capone's if that's what it's still called and truly relaxed my day way ... The have protocols in place for safety and if your feeling they move to slow ... no they don't there are proper ways of getting things done.... If you're on a time crunch then kayaking is not it, go for a trail walk or sit at the beach or bike ride but don't kayak, that's the waters way of telling you to slow down. Like I always tell everyone on here: check it out. Due your due diligence and you decide. Peace out

Cruising Tiki Charters is an absolute must when in Lauderdale. My first time, but host that I was…read morewith has been several times. It's BYOB y'all so load up and get on board for a awesome water tour and adventure. Our Captain Aaron was a great knowledgeable experienced Saylor. He was able to narrate all the wonderful homes with back stories to most of them. Our tour lasted 4 hours and it seemed like 1 we had so much fun. Highly recommended by me.

We booked a 90-minute sightseeing tour expecting to cruise the Intracoastal and see historical sites and celebrity homes. Shortly before the trip, we asked whether we could make a quick 10-15 minute stop to get in the water and were told that we could. Unfortunately, once we stopped, the boat had difficulty getting restarted. What was supposed to be a brief stop ended up taking up a substantial portion of our tour. My parents had no intention of swimming and spent much of their experience sitting on the boat waiting. We saw virtually none of the sights we had expected to see. The captain was very new to this particular tour and told us this was only his fourth trip. He was pleasant, and I still tipped him, but this was simply not the experience we paid for. I contacted the owner afterward hoping he would recognize that a significant portion of our 90-minute tour was lost because of the boat issue and offer a reasonable refund. Instead, the conversation became surprisingly confrontational. When I said I felt that at least half of the cost should be refunded and that otherwise I would share our experience in reviews, he accused me of "extortion." Most troubling, he then told me that he had shared our conversation "with every fishing charter in our area." We were still on vacation and had another fishing trip planned. I found the suggestion that he was contacting other local charter businesses about a customer because she complained about his service incredibly inappropriate and upsetting. It felt like an attempt to interfere with the rest of our vacation rather than resolve a legitimate customer-service complaint. I understand that mechanical problems happen. What turned a disappointing boat trip into a truly negative experience was the way the complaint was handled afterward. We paid more than $500 including the captain's tip, and I expected a professional sightseeing experience and professional customer service when something went wrong. Unfortunately, we received neither. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.
