I say relationship because the #1 thing in any relationship is trust. I have trusted Days Jewelers to take care of all my jewelry needs. It started with repairs, cleaning, and checkups on my prongs holding my gems. Which led to projects; I inherited a lot of antique jewelry which needed appraisals as well as diamonds replaced that had fallen out since the 1930's, to three necklaces with high quality fake pearls that needed to be restrung. Watches for my guys, to my engagement and wedding bands, I have trusted Day's. I purchased the cross I wear every day which lead to my family all getting the same cross. The necklaces have worn out over the years but the cross still looks amazing! I still get compliments. More repairs and cleaning which is what led me here today. Another antique 1970's piece I ADORE broke and knew they would be able to get it back together again. Plus my floating pearls clasp broke. Dropped off on Saturday, schedule board read repairs would be done by July 7, almost two weeks, no rush. Well I got the call on Monday afternoon everything was fixed! Conveniently locate by the Mall and my office, at the store in 4minutes. Walked in was greeted at the repair counter and registers. Handed the sales woman my tickets and they were in hand with in minutes. Looking perfect once again. Having 15 minutes to spare I went back in and took pictures for this review. How could I not??? Excuse was to clean all my jewelry I was wearing rings and cross. Wallet in hand and ready to pay 8 minutes later, am told "No charge"! The repairs and cleaning were free because of our long standing relationship.

I brought the frames in and Cheryl agreed to have a go with it. Happily, she got it done and done beautifully. She is obviously a highly skilled craftswoman and artist. While in her shop it was unavoidable to see her current work on display. Being every watchful for jewelry for my sweetheart, I poured over the displays and found a ring like one that she had decades ago that had been lost. Turns out that Cheryl had a mold for that ring and agreed to cast a new ring for me to my specifications that I am now eagerly waiting to see. I had chosen to pick through and purchase some coins in their "world silver coin" box, but I (after purchasing a large number) have disappointingly found a few coins that aren't silver at all - but copper nickel. Their pricing on this box was also very loose with the cashier taking a "rough mental average" of the purity of the coins and adding a "small" premium over spot. While I should've known better to pick only coins I'm familiar with and trusting this undisclosed "small premium", they shouldn't have had any non-silver coinage in the silver coinage bin. I'm sure it would be a headache, but separating the world coins based on purity and not a "rough average" would provide a MUCH better experience for the customer.
