Due to COVID-19 Chippenham Pediatrics has a new system for check-in that I highly recommend. The new check-in system is electronic. Once you arrive for your scheduled appointment you can now check-in online and you are asked to wait in the parking lot until your room is ready. When your room/provider is ready you will receive a phone call to come inside and you will be directed straight to your room to meet with your provider. We have been impressed with the quality of care and glad we decided to switch to Chippenham Pediatrics.

Their technology is also a major hurdle; the check-in texts send you to forms that don't work, and their app doesn't actually facilitate insurance uploads or check-ins as promised. Combined with the high staff turnover, it's lost the reliability it once had. I'm hoping things get better soon.

Today I called in to ask for antibiotics because I am still having the same chest congestion and was told by my doctor's nurse to go to urgent care and ask them for antibiotics/xray. I was under the impression the point of having a primary care doctor was to have the same people taking care of you. Also since I already had a visit for chest congestion it does not seem fair not to help with that as apart of that appointment.
