On a whim when New York segue seasons for the Autumn Equinox 2024 I wanted to savor the passage into autumn with a medium apple green tea $4.50 with grass jelly topping $0.60. The first weekend was humid with light rain and I was holding my drink and umbrella while walking in Chinatown, Manhattan. The drink was not very sugary to taste at 25% sugar level, but slightly sweet and the grass jelly was one gargantuan substance of warm grass jelly. My apple green tea had the appearance of an granny green apple. The grass jelly was not chilled and not broken into pieces. Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary source of patronize. The drink price $4.50 is very reasonable, but the grass jelly topping for a flabbergasted price $0.60 was... was worth it! Former NYC Mayor Bloomberg would have been surely been proud of my consumption intake of sugary drinks. Apple green tea fends a false illusion of apple picking but an seasonal autumn vibe in drink form. Customer service is efficient and attentive to heed the hope within my mind for my drink order and fulfillment. Seating is very limited.

I came across this boba tea shop on a Thursday evening after a friend recommended. It had a few indoor seats so I was able to order my drinks and chat with friends for awhile. I ordered the classic bubble milk tea with 25% sugar and it was just sweet enough (but not too sweet)! This was honestly so yummy and the boba was super soft. It's one of the best bobas I've had in awhile in NYC and reminds me of the ones I've had in China. I honestly preferred this over Kung Fu tea which is right across the street. Not to mention, my drink was under $5 which is way more affordable than other tea shops. I was craving this so much that I had to come back the next day to try their popcorn chicken as well. To my surprise, their popcorn chicken is also delicious. It's has a crispy crunch and the chicken is tender and well seasoned. It also came with a spicy chili sauce on the side. Overall, I highly recommend to stop by for a quick drink and snack! Now I'm craving more boba!

I've come by 2 times and enjoyed on both occasions. The have competition across the way, Kings something or the other, but I like here more. They offer drinks, appetizers and sweet treats. My tea was rich and tasty. I don't think you'll regret anything you request. Give it a go!

I stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad I did!! I got a medium peach oolong tea with lychee jelly and it was delicious! I had to go back again to get a large lol. When I first went, I saw they had a great selection. They were also busy so I appreciated the workers who made my drink. The place is pretty small but definitely worth it for the drinks and also snack foods. I was tempted to get the popcorn chicken but since I was getting food I decided not. I bet it was good though. Anyway, this place is nice! My cousin got taro milk and said it was also good :)

Kung Fu Tea is right across the street, but I chose to come to One Cup Tea instead and I'm glad I did. I ordered the rose milk bubble tea and the Thai milk bubble tea and both were just right. The bubbles were soft and I loved how the drinks were light and not overly sweet.

Came here in a pinch as most other boba stores were closed. It satisfied the craving but it's nothing too special, just your local spot that serves decent boba. The tea tasted watered down. Also the floor was insanely sticky lol

I'm BLOWN AWAY by One Cup Tea. Whenever I drink bubble tea, I'm usually a loyalist (aka a big fan of Coco). But if you're going to try one bubble tea shop in the Chinatown area, make sure it's One Cup Tea. I got the white peach jasmine green tea with lychee jelly which was delicious. It was just the right amount of sweetness paired with such good flavor. Usually I've noticed that some boba places will absolutely drown your drink with ice unless you ask them otherwise - not One Cup Tea, which I really appreciate. But y'all.....the highlight of One Cup Tea is their popcorn chicken. I'm Taiwanese, which means I grew up eating the stuff - and when I tell you their popcorn chicken is good, it's GOOD. I haven't had popcorn chicken that amazing since I last visited Taiwan....salty, a little spicy, with the perfect amount of crunch when bitten into. I will 100% be stopping by One Cup Tea every time I'm in Chinatown now, because I'm now addicted (side note - they have a great deal where if you purchase a drink, you get any side for $3.30. $3.30 for the best popcorn chicken you've ever had?? Worth it). TLDR: COME TO ONE CUP TEA. I'm even putting this in all-caps for extra emphasis, because I cannot rave about their popcorn chicken / drink combo enough. It's the best pick-me-up for any hard day, and I would 100% recommend.

Came upon this place when I was looking for a boba shop that was open at night! This place is more like a no-frills shop, and is a lot cheaper than surrounding boba places in the area. I got the lychee yakult tea with boba and popcorn chicken. I thought the taste of the tea was great but the boba was a little soft for my liking. The popcorn chicken was great-- it was perfectly crispy and a good portion size.

we went to a random store in flushing because it was our first time in flushing after watching the us open. my mom got two drinks for her and my sister. and then we got the combo for popcorn chicken and it was actually really good. it redeemed our taste buds from the ASS popcorn chicken we ate at the korean restaurant. like why was it so sweet. but here it was amazing. i want to go back. i can't wait to be back.

Card Payment has a minimum or they charge extra for it. I came here on a 80degree Tuesday @ 2:30pm and there was no line. I got the drink and snack special, which is the price of the drink (under $5 for Large) + 3.99 additional cost for the snack. I got the Peach Oolong Tea with Lychee jelly ($0.50) and the Original Popcorn Chicken. Air conditioning in here was ample and the staff make it a point to close the door so the place stays cool. To corroborate what another reviewer said about the ice in their drinks, it's true that they don't have an excessive amount of ice. Always a plus for me :) As for the popcorn chicken, it was surprising how delicious it was. Larger than the pieces you get at other places and freshly made with a crunchy exterior to it (which is a near necessity for my fried chicken nowadays) but the inside wasn't dry at all. Chicken also comes with a side of sauce (probably sweet chili) and goes well, since the Drink & Snack Special only allows for Original Flavored Popcorn Chicken. Peach Oolong Tea was also good, and wasn't too saccharine sweet (which I'm not usually a fan of) but the all-star here was the Popcorn Chicken man.... All in all, I will definitely be a returning customer! I'm even willing to regularly buy things at full price if this is the consistent quality. Trust me, it's worth it! Especially before it gets super popular. I'm hoping it stays relatively chill so I don't have to fight the crowd but their popcorn chicken is just that good.

Loved the bubble tea here!! Ordered the Rose Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Bubbles and it was like a little taste of heaven! It had little bits of what seemed like candied rose petals floating in the tea. They have a special where you can order an app along with a drink and you get a small discount but we were too full from lunch to sample any of the food. I did end up getting another large Boba Tea to go though! :) Highly recommend. The place was tiny with just a few tables and chairs but it's mostly a take out joint so it fits their needs. The girl behind the counter didn't speak much English but enough to get by with pointing and gestures so no complaints.

Local boba tea, smoothies and snacks. Great service tooo! A must for anyone visiting china town!

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil.
