    Brown sugar boba softserve
    Stephanie C.

We got the black sesame boba and brown sugar boba softserve. The best part was the boba which was had an amazing texture. The were soft and chewy and tasted homemade. I didn't adjust the sweetness level but it was not too sweet at all. The ice cream could have been a little sweeter. They had a few seats in the store and service was fast. Xin Fu Tang was good but at nyc prices I think trying it once was enough.

It is the grand opening weekend of another Xing Fu Tang location in the West Village Bleecker Street area! It's very close to the W4th St subway. The other location is at St. Marks. This location has a bench to sit on to enjoy your drink and also a ledge table by the window. I had the grapefruit green tea with boba. It's one of my fav drinks to get at XFT. The boba is so fresh and chewy. I get the drink without sugar since the brown sugar boba is already sweetened. It's the perfect refreshing fruit drink.

Pros: - the staff were so friendly and helpful, answered all my questions and actively promoted the events they had during the grand opening - got the Creme Brulee Boba Milk Tea, it's a West Village-only drink, at the time I went - the drink was delicious nonetheless, I would probably just get it without sugar next time, it even has creme brulee chunks in it - as always, the texture of their tapioca is THE best, in my opinion - there is seating, a bench on the side of the store and a standing table by the window, which is a plus because all the other XFTs I've been to do not have seating Cons: - the drink was a lot sweeter than I expected even after asking for 50% sugar, I forget the tapioca is already made with sugar Comments: - went on Saturday, it was their grand opening - received a goodie bag, as well as won a free gift from their spin-the-wheel event - like their other stores, the aesthetic is very plain and simple, but I appreciate that - music wasn't played too loud, nor was the background noise too loud

New year brings renewal hope and optimism with a glow of positively. A time for reflection, analyze, ponder, perspective in life, and setting goals for self-improvement or fresh starts. The sky is no longer dark clouds. I will not let the darkness win. I was elated with the prospect of attaining my default drink and like their other locations which I have previously patronized Flushing, Queens, NYC and Koreatown, NYC my desideratum of attaining fortune. Xing Fu Tang obtained the concept of fortunes from Kau chim 求籤, Chinese Buddhist traditions which my beloved family member would annually trek to a local Buddhist temple in NYC at the beginning of the new year. Visitors would shake a bamboo container and select one bamboo wide, flat incense stick which is painted red on one end with a number inscribed. The number on the stick corresponds to the number for the fortune. I obtained my bubble tea with my default topping, but I did not obtain my fortune. This Xing Fu Tang location is in Greenwich Village, New York, NY which appears recently opened. Limited seating is available. This location appears somewhat large retail space. Unfortunately, the Kau chim 求籤 fortunes are not setup. After pulling one stick, I looked on a wall for the fortunes. Low and behold, it is placed high on a ledge which is not reachable and unattainable. I requested assistance for someone to reach, but the cashier/server Miki C. fends a curt indifferent attitude. None of the workers responded as all the women were standing looking with utter bewilderment in defiant opposition to assist a customer like me. Forward. One female worker blurted with disdain in a stolid manner: "It's not setup yet. It is suppose to be mounted into the wall. No, you cannot have the fortune! No one can get it, okay!" Kindness does not exist as neither is empathy. Nota Bene, Xing Fu Tang need better contractors for skilled trade carpenters for built-in cabinetry. Jasmine green tea with honeycomb, medium $8.00 My predilection and proclivity as a confirmed verifiable herbal jelly lover continues. My default topping herbal jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 for $0.50 is included in my order, at least. I tasted the honey, but not the jasmine green tea. The drink alone was extremely sweet which already contains honey and the additional 30% sugar level rises sweetness to the heavens for a sugar rush. The cashier/server did not inform me of the honey sweetness and recommend very little or none sugar level as part of customer service. The add-on topping of my favorite herbal jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 was delicious chilled and fresh. The herbal jelly was infinitesimal paucity for quantity. One word: frugal! I did received my sales receipt printed. I'm only here at this Xing Fu Tang Greenwich Village, New York location at 154 Bleecker Street for herbal jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉.

The BEST boba in NY!!! So authentic just like in Taiwan. The Boba is super qq (chewy) and the brown sugar oh sooo good. Gotta go get your boba!!! The server was super helpful suggesting their new drink, and the store is so clean and open. Can't wait to be back.

    It was too sweet

I got the strawberry Matcha milk without Boba. I asked for low sugar, it was still way too sweet. Service is friendly. But I expect a knockout drink when I'm paying more than $11 (smaller size) for it. They have a clean bathroom so that was nice.

I've never tried a Japanese cheesecake before and was extremely excited to be able to pick up some treats for my coworkers as well as my partner's birthday cake from Keki. Ordering is fairly straightforward and done with a simple machine outfront. Once your order is ready one of the staff members hands it to you through a window; there is no inside area accessible to customers but our food came quickly and we took it back to the office. The cheesecake was fantastic. I read a bit about the background of the shop online and how the owner really cares about using high-quality ingredients, specifically dairy. It was justas described, light and bouncy. I enjoyed how it was not overly sweet and found that it was all too easy to devour the entire cake over the course of two days. Despite it not having much weight to it, it traveled surprisingly well as I took it home on my three train commute! Similar to what others have said, the real highlight of the shop, in my opinion, are their cream puffs. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the outer layer was thin yet had a nice little crunch to it. We tried the classic milk, cookies & cream pistachio and ube flavors. Our favorite was the pistachio by far, which had such a unique yet decadent flavor and our second favorite was the milk cream puff. There's not much else I can say other than you really have to go here and try the desserts yourself. If you're a fan of Japanese desserts that are rich yet not too sweet, you'll be a fan of Keki.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
