    Fresh Strawberry Green Tea
    Lauren M.

This location is located inside a place that also sells burgers but they are two different businesses. The staff were all kind. My drink was made fast. I always get strawberry green tea with bubbles and it hits the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's also a lot of seating inside which is nice but they do not have a bathroom for public use.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was really excited to try IMilky and finally had the opportunity on a hot hot day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked how there was seating inside with a bathroom and ac (albeit a little weak with the doors open).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the limited edition mango strawberry pomelo drink in medium (which is really small). There was no price listed but I figured how expensive would it be. Yeah, it was pretty pricy. It ended up being almost $10 for a small drink. I was quite disappointed especially since it didn't taste anything special either. The sago was heavy and there weren't any fresh mango chunks. There wasn't really a good mango or strawberry flavor. I really enjoyed the hey tea coconut mango sago drink so I thought I'll enjoy this one too but unfortunately this one pales in comparison to the hey tea one. I would skip next time especially given how pricy the drinks are. I would opt to go to hey tea next door instead for the same price but better quality drinks.

I continue my bubble tea crawl throughout New York. It was a hot summer's day and I was in need of a cool down. This bubble tea business, I'Milky located in Chinatown is very easily to be missed. It shares retail space with Burger By Day, a smashburger spot where customers can eat burgers, fries, wings, milkshakes with boba tea. I like the concept of a one stop for the convenience of having both a burger joint and a boba shop in one location. Indoor seating is available and air conditioning is weak because the doors are wide open which is futile, not energy efficient and violates NYC's Air Conditioning Law, Local Law 92 of 2015, New York City Administrative Code § 20-910. Jasmine Green Tea, large $5.75 + topping grass jelly $1.00 + NYC 8.875% sales tax = $7.35 I am always enamored with Jasmine green tea and my drink actually taste good. The only topping embedded is my default choice grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 which was somewhat insufficient for paucity. My order was correctly fulfilled with 30% sugar and regular ice. Again, I highly despise extreme sweet drinks for the high sugar content volume and agree with former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg's limiting sugar level initiatives consumption of sugary drinks. Again, Bloomberg would be proud of my sugar intake level. The grass jelly was average. The amount of ice was okay which melted entirely during my one hour 20 minute subway ride home. Ethan, the server was attentive for customer service as my order was fulfilled in a timely matter. He provided my sales receipt as requested. My desire for grass jelly was attained. Ya, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉!! I never like tapioca pearls and will not order any.

Perfect combo! This is the first time I got strawberry matcha from iMilky and it is so good just like the one I got in Taiwan!

I came here in the summer of 2023. I felt that the milk tea was quite average, perhaps even a bit powdery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, the decorations inside the establishment were very cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The branding is also quite pretty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have drawings of anime characters and other references taped to their walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

For milk tea lovers who can't have dairy For health nuts who don't want white rice but purple rice in their rice balls...this is the place for you! Once you realize that the store awning is supposed to say Burger By Day, it's pretty easy to find. I'Milky is the counter on the right front of the dining space. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is simple and clean and can technically accommodate large groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's no restrooms, outlets, or Wi-Fi, so you can't sip your milk tea and work for hrs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The young man at the register had a pleasant demeanor. I got Combo 1 (riceball + sauce + side + drink) and he was the one that helped me realize there was purple rice sub and complimentary sauce. My drink was Oolong Milk Tea with Lactaid sub, 30% sugar and I still enjoyed it. They also have oat and soy sub. The spicy pork belly riceball was good too. It went well with the yellow mustardy sauce that was complimentary. Will be back for my "milk" tea fix!

One of my favorite boba places! I always get the mango milk with tapioca pearls. Somehow, they always have the BEST, chewiest tapioca pearls that are perfectly cooked. Paired with the sweet creamy mango milk, there is nothing better than this. They also make onigiri and have deals where you can buy sets. I got the spicy pork belly and the shrimp. Both were fresh and delicious. Some of the best boba and rice balls, I absolutely love this place and will definitely be back!

We only got drinks, but it was a nice refreshing pick me up on a hot day. The service was good, everyone was nice and it was quick and easy.

I visited I'Milky with friends after a hotpot dinner in Chinatown! It wasn't too busy inside (Sunday night) and there was plenty of seating for everyone. it was a great place to sit, enjoy our drinks, and chat about before we separated. I would definitely recommend I'Milky. I ordered a large fresh milk taro with boba. The boba was sweet and chewy, but the star was really the fresh taro! It isn't the stereotypical taro drink, which usually comes out as purple (and most real taro I've seen aren't purple but a milky white color). You can't adjust the sugar in the drink, but I honestly thought the sugar in the drink itself was perfect! I was always really excited to drink up real taro chunks and found the milk really frothy and a great complement to the taro. The drink was a bit pricey at about ~$10 after tax, but definitely a special treat. I'd get this drink again, but there were many other items on the menu that I really want to try!

Onigiri (really good) strawberry matcha (a bit to sweet for me)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Shares a space with Burger By Day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My cousins went to get a burger there and I got and onigiri. I recommend the tuna with corn onigiri. It was the perfect snack.

Convenient new imilky spot in Chinatown. The inside of the store is very clean and has a lot of seating, so it's a comfortable spot to relax, enjoy your boba, and chat with friends. There's also a bathroom in the back for customers!

Great, clean, crisp and minimal spot to get some Taiwan boba tea. Love the ordering options especially being able to control the sweetness and ice is a PLUS. I will say the only disappointment here is not having coconut milk available only in the taro drink. Totally ok though as they do have oatmilk. I'm used to order Thai tea which wasn't available here but totally cool! Ordered the brown sugar (with real brown sugar) and it was pretty good. Ordering is quick and easy especially if you're just getting a drink. They gave some food options like riceballs and bento boxes too.

My go-to place for fresh taro milk. The way they make the drink has the right amount of sweetness to me.

This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
