I was grabbing a quick bite in Chinatown and walked past this place twice but then decided to walk in. Very glad I did. I chose an ice green tea with flavoring and popping boba. Super flavorful. The store front was cute and the lady at the front counter was very nice. It's near a lot of very viral shops. I would definitely stop by if I'm near by in the future!

Small boba shop on Pell street in the heart of Chinatown. Stopped by at night (was empty) and for a lychee Yakult slush and black sesame boba. They were both good and what we expected. Menu is quite diverse which is nice. Not really any seating inside. I think there's better boba spots in Chinatown, however, this spot's still a solid choice.

We wanted to try a different tea shop. Inside had cute stuff animals and asian insipred artwork. The tea choices were good and the people were friendly. I got the super fruit tea which was very refreshing and had a light citrus flavor but strong floral notes.

Nice tea place. They have a lot of varities of tea. Great place to grab a drink after a self care around the area.

This was a huge miss for me. my lemon yakult was practically water, with very little yakult taste. really disappointed.

Finally made it here and it did not disappoint. Unlike many place, ice to tea ratio is not forgiving, this gem found the balance along with a robust taste of Oolong. They were great at awnsering my questions regarding fruit mixtures. Seating is uniquely arranged by a covered piano.

Walking through Chinatown around 8pm, I wanted boba and this place had good reviews. The inside is small, but comes with a few places to sit. The service was very friendly and quick. My large milk tea with boba with light ice and medium sugar was refreshing. It wasn't very sweet. The boba was more hard and less flavorful than I'm used to, but it was still decent.

Highly recommend the mango pomelo sago $8.25 + tax. They don't do sugar or ice adjustments because there's only one way they make the drink. The cup lid says to consume within an hour, and I would agree. This is a blended drink. There's a piano inside this boba shop!!?

Was feeling parched and stumbled upon this Small hole in the tea place. Decided to try something out of the norm today and ordered a cake cream milk tea, took around 15mins to come out. Unfortunately the drink itself didn't have much of a cake cream or milk tea flavor, felt like the milk was the show of the drink. There still a decent menu size so will give a it a try next time with something else and see if it's better.

I wandered in during a trip to Chinatown when the craving for bubble tea hit! I am so happy that I did. I had never heard of Miss Du's Tea Shop, but let me tell you that it is a hidden gem! I went with my usual order at any bubble tea place- passion fruit green tea. They prompty made it and handed it over to me. One sip, and I was sold. This bubble tea tasted so authentic, and I haven't experience this type of bubble tea since my trip to Singapore. It was absolutely delicious. The flavors were balanced and I could taste most the green tea and passionfruit. The boba was cooked to perfection. And as a little treat, there were passion fruit seeds inside the drink too. There isn't much seating inside (a few bars seats), but I was just taking this to-go, so it didn't affect me. I plan to be back on my next trip to Chinatown!

Forgot to take a photo until I was on the Amtrak so an ugly angle will do. Service was awesome, the worker was excited to see me walk in and had a huge smile and bubbly personality. That definitely left a lasting first impression. Menu is a bit big and it was hard to find a basic black or green milk tea, but it is offered. Few seats, but very limited. Classic Bubble Milk Tea - boba has a solid chew but maybe a bit on the softer side. Could use a bit more of a bounce. Flavor wasn't there but I was delayed, so possibly better fresh. Tea was light, but present.

Came here on a cold winter afternoon. Never heard of this boba place before so thought I'd give it a go. The place is small but clean - and there were seats available so that's helpful. The seats by the window were great as I was able to people watch and enjoy the new year's festivities. Ordered the taro milk tea and was asked if I wanted the paste or the powder. I've not tasted the paste before so stuck to the powder. Next time I'll try the paste!

I love non-milky fruit teas with just a hint of sweetness and Miss Du's hit the spot! My favorite was the mango but I wish I had more time to try all the other different flavor combinations here.

This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
