We enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. We ordered the "fish of the day," which was a tuna, black rice, and 2 pieces of leek. We enjoyed our meal, but were stunned when we received our bill and were charged $62 for EACH order of fish. When restaurants charge nearly double of any other restaurant for a similar meal, they should notify the customer in advance. My husband felt fleeced and said "never again." It's a shame when an otherwise good restaurant gets greedy. We will not return. read more

Stopped in here for dinner tonight. Full house and was lucky we were able to get a table inside. Should have went for the outside table. Inside temperature was hot and there were a ton of flies. Definitely a good date spot or an intimate celebration dinner. Food was amazing! Recommend enjoying a starter in addition to your main dish. The creme brûlée was delicious! Drinks are made well too. We went to One Eleven Main for our Anniversary. The host was rude, the service was average, and the food was below average. If there were actually other "upscale" restaurants in Bel Air, One Eleven Main would get snuffed out. Where do I begin with this establishment. I've always heard the most amazing things about this place even before we recently moved to HarCo in 2021. Coincidentally my new office opened right across the street and I stopped in by myself right before lunch ended on a hot summer day. Found a spot at the bar and was instantly greeted with the most upbeat and happy greeting possible. I was told about the days special, something new the chef cooked up on such a hot day in the Watermelon Gazpacho, followed up by the crab avocado meal. Decided on them both and was blown away. Absolutely amazing food. Now, I knew this trip alone would not go well with my wife as she has been dying to go there so we stopped in last night around 8:30 for a late dinner and the same as above. The place was packed and personally I have a mandatory duck order if it's on anyones menu. Ordered the duck and my wife the filet and hands down the best dinner we've had in a long time. Highlight of my trip to Bel Air, MD yesterday was lunch at One Eleven Main. Walked the Ma+Pa Trail before noon, then parked car near the Armory on Main St. The building looks like King Arthur's Castle! Loved it. Behind the Armory are a few small businesses and an Artists Gallery filled with local talent. Gallery doubles as a Visitor's Center. The friendly volunteer/artist supplied a few lunch ideas and showed us her artistic medium: gourds. Fell in love with one! We passed several recommended lunch spots, but nothing drew us in. One Eleven Main doesn't have a neon arrow pointing you in, but they did have a sidewalk sign mentioning their lunch special: House ground Smash Burgers. From what we saw at the outside tables, people were enjoying that choice. We decided to go indoors and were greeted by Matt, who became our server. He sat us near the front window, which was lined with vases of fresh flowers. This place sources ingredients locally - might as well bring flowers from the farm! The limited lunch menu worked for me, probably because I liked everything on the list. Time to order. Norma Salad with Shrimp salad added-on x2. Our plates were a riot of color. Fresh berries, roasted beets, orange segments, green grape tomatoes, toasted nuts and plenty of spring mix greens. Topper of creamy shrimp salad was generous and lifted a great salad to extra special. Shrimp salad in Summer is the Best! Especially here. Matt made us feel very welcome and I saw him bringing that spirit to the table nearest us. So my best friend works here and she wanted a few of us to come there for lunch. She is an awesome waitress so the service was great...fast, correct and of course friendly. It's a small bistro type place and doesn't have a big menu so don't expect to have trouble choosing a dish. The food...well it was ok. I got butternut squash soup. It was a little watery and not very flavorful. It was a bowl, but in one of those bowls that's not very deep so it's actually a cup. Oh and it cost $11. The others in my party weren't too impressed either, especially for the price. Maybe the owner should to stick to his seafood business. He's great at that!!! read more

Went here for valentines dinner. Nice small intimate dinning room. Waiting staff was professional and attentive. The food was excellent. We had Brussel sprouts and oyster sampler for appetizer, both highly recommended. I had the flank steak for entree. Meal for two with drinks cost about $100, priced very well. read more

We rarely find ourselves in Bel Air but were there last night and came across this awesome restaurant. Pros: great ambiance and service, really delicious food (we ordered ceviche, brussel sprouts, sea bass, home made pappardelle). Cons: can't think of any. The hostess overheard us talking about it being our anniversary and two flutes of champagne appeared at our table 10 minutes later. The restaurant is very pretty and the staff was WONDERFUL, I hope they find other jobs because the food is going to close the place. I ordered the NY strip. My date got the rack of lamb At least one third of my steak was fat I had to cut away. The rest of it was completely flavorless. I didn't know you could cook a steak medium-rare AND remove all the taste (I though it had to be medium-well or higher for that), but it turns out you can!! How do you pull that off? The vegetables that came with it were ok, but only just. They certainly didn't justify the price. Especially since a third of my "meat" was lost. My boyfriend was similarly displeased with his lamb, but he wrote his own review panning the place, so I'll end this here. It's too late for us, we wasted our money, but you still have a chance. Well Bel Air we have a five star place to eat. Quaint surrounding, knowledgeable wait staff with prompt service make this hands down the best food in Harford County. The selection is mouth watering. Decided to give this place a try on a Tuesday evening with my dad and husband. We decided on drinks and sharing 6 small plates. Everything was delicious! We especially enjoyed the Grilled Asparagus Salad and the Caraway Dusted Crispy Brussel Sprouts. My drink of choice was the Amaretto sour and it was so good, I would go back just to have that drink again. The service was excellent and enjoyable and the decor was upscale yet casual. This is the perfect place for date night. Our waitress was knowledgable, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere is classy, modern and unfussy. It was a little loud, but the restaurant was almost full. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it's slightly pricey ($25+ per main course). Its well worth the money spent. The menu is divided into 3 sections: firsts (salads and soups), chefs plates (appetizers, small portions so if you're starving get a few), and mains. We elected to skip the firsts although the menu looked enticing. We got the grilled octopus for a chefs plate, and our waitress also brought bread with delicious olive oil. For mains we got the butternut squash and the venison. Everything was cooked to perfection. Dessert was buttered popcorn creme brûlée. We left feeling full, but not overly so. The beer and wine selection is also great. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's unlike the others in downtown bel air in terms of service and selection. We will be back! read more

We were really looking forward to this place opening, and went with a party of 6. Cutting to the chase, the food was generally overpriced for the flavors and quality. Something tells me they will work out the common issues of a newly opened restaurant like this. Food was good, but not spectacular to justify the prices. Portions were reasonable. One thing they did get right is the bar... cocktails were great, and we chatted up the bartenders and they we were knowledgeable. Service was slow overall...two and a half hours for three courses. My arctic char was cooked perfectly. My wife's butternut squash was a little undercooked, and our friend's medium rare steak had to go back for a couple more minutes. Other friend loved the diver scallops with ox tail. We will try it again in a couple of months to see if it has improved. Like others have said, atmosphere is great and the staff is very good. I realize the menus are not perfectly comparable, but if I am going to spend that kind of money, I prefer Birroteca...for now. read more

Unfortunately I can't leave a review about the food at One Eleven Main as we were never served. I made a reservation a week in advance for a romantic dinner for my husband and myself. We arrived on time at 7 pm, informed the hostess and waited along side a three top. Between 7 and 7:20 three other two tops and a four top came in and were all seated ahead of us. The hostess sat every other customer while my husband and I stared at a set up two top. The last straw was when the hostess finally recognized us to let us know once the couple sitting at a rail seat in the window leaves she would get that area cleaned up for us. We immediately left, well after waiting 22 minutes, being passed over and ignored. We chose One Eleven Main because a friend gave us a gift card. I will be returning the kind gift to my friend. I will never return to this establishment. My husband and I have both worked in the industry for many years, customer service is key in any business but especially a restaurant. I will be sure to let all my friends and family know this is not an establishment to patronize. read more

Some advice for those that want to try this place. #1 Do not let them seat you in the booth by the bathrooms. It was cramped to say the least. The table literally pushed into my sternum forcing an uncomfortable posture all night. #2 They have a fancy menu that uses high end ingredients yet only serve Miller Light, and local independent brewing company beer. #3 After ordering the Tomahawk steak and confirming to the waiter about the knowledge of the chef to cook it to temperature (medium for me), he assured me they know how to cook steaks. Needless to say that my steak was RAW the first time they brought it so I asked for it to be re-fired. Now those of you that like steak know re-heating steak after it rests drys the steak out and makes it tough. But for the price (over 100$) of the steak I felt bad for sending it back. At this point, my wife had almost already finished her dinner. I was perturbed when it came back out dry and still undercooked the second time. If you want a good Steak do NOT go to this restaurant. They pride themselves on high end fancy food but can not cook a simple steak. read more
