Even after 4 years, still AMAZING! I temporarily moved out of the area, and now that I'm back, I decided to return to this salon. Just like I remembered, the place was very comforting and clean! Rafi did an amazing job with the hairstyle I wanted and even gave me some advice (he saved me from getting bangs because now that I think about it, I would've regretted them!). He layered my hair just how I wanted and made sure the layers complemented my face! And thank you to Mike as well; he gave me the cutest blowout and laughed at my jokes. I'm not one to write reviews but after my experience coming to this salon, I had to. I was in dire need of a hair cut as it has been almost a year since I have gotten my last one (my hair practically looked unhealthy, boring, and dry due to my history of balayages) and was suggested to come here by my friend. Vibes: Bright, clean, and modern interior. Chill music in the background. Overall experience: I told Rafi what I was interested in getting for this new haircut thinking he'd just agree to it, but he responded even better- he provided me with his professional opinion on a style that I never knew about with confidence that it would freshen my hair and suit my face (I have a fairly round face). After raising my concerns, I was met with patience, flexibility, and quality explanations that ultimately brought me more than enough reassurance that this new look is for me. Mike is just as attentive and thoughtful- he walked me through his hair washing routine for me to implement and helped me understand the importance of each step. TLDR: I felt refreshed after my haircut and I'm glad I put my trust in Rafi. Definitely taking some time to get used to the new look but I've gotten so many compliments from everyone around me and that they like the style on me more than what I've had for the last 10 years. I highly recommend ONE Hair salon. I had a huge hair emergency. My daughter bleached and dyed my hair the wrong color - I was a mess! I called Raj, the owner, and he told me to come right over. This man is the best. Not only did he turn my daughter's mistake into something beautiful, he also made me feel so much better. He is super kind, knowledgeable and genuine. I met Abbey as a walk in when the pandemic ended. She travels to and from Mexico and can never keep her appointments straight. She literally double booked me on back to back time slots and to make things even worse does not call you back to make another appointment. The salon uses some random answering service to connect you to the stylists, so if you don't have Abbey's personal cell number you can forget about connecting. She blew me off numerous times , at least four that I can remember. On my final attempt t schedule I walked in and she shook her head "no" from the back of the salon as the owner asked what I wanted. I told him forget it , the salon and Abbey are unprofessional and total nightmare. Losers! read more

But the phone system and appointment scheduling was the final straw for me. It's already hard enough to get a phone call to make an appointment, but now they canceled on me for no reason the day before my appt. $65 is a bit too pricey anyways when it comes to just a wash and cut. I have to be careful and picky when choosing a stylist I can trust. Rafi takes his time with the cut, styling, and then finishes up with adjustments after styling. For my coarse and naturally curly hair, which I prefer to wear straight, this is a must. I don't even have to show him pictures of what I'm looking for, he knows exactly what to do, which products to use, and how my hair should look with my face shape. I'm so grateful he doesn't use the kinds of products/sprays that don't work on my hair; instead, he knows what will work and makes recommendations on what I can use at home to help balance my dry hair. After many disappointments and bad experiences at many other hair salons, I must say I'm over the moon ecstatic with One Salon. Rafi is not only an experienced hair stylist but, also the owner. From the moment I called to make an appointment for my mother and myself, my mind was set at ease. They were professional and listened to my concerns and reassured me we were in good hands. When we arrived we were greeted right away. We were taken to our chairs promptly at our appointment time. My jacket was put away nicely for me and we were offered water as soon as we sat in our chairs. There were a few other clients having their hair done, all in masks and keeping socially distanced from other clients. The salon is clean and beautiful. Everyone was friendly. I saw clients leave with smiles and beautiful hair. That was a great sign! I must say, both my mother and myself had a lot of recorrecting that needed to be done from previous uneven cuts before arriving. We were a challenge for sure. But, Rafi took his time explaining what his recommendations were and reviewing our individual hair. I showed him a picture of the cut I wanted and he wisely explained in detail why it wasn't a good choice for my hair texture and personality. Yes! In those few moments, he assessed my personality on point! He made a suggestion, showed me a picture and I'm so glad I went with it. As he cut our hair, he educated us on the best way to style it and was very detailed and precise with each strand he cut. Both my mother and I were so thrilled to see our finished looks!
