The staff is genuinely kind, attentive, and clearly cares about both their customers and the clothing they're trusted with. You feel confident leaving your items here. Their turnaround time is impressively fast, yet the quality is never rushed. Prices are extremely fair and very reasonable, especially considering the level of care and detail they put into each piece. They are incredibly organized, which makes drop-off and pickup smooth, easy, and stress-free every time. The location is another huge plus--it's right in a super cute part of downtown Lafayette with plenty of shops, cafés, and things to do nearby, so it's actually enjoyable to stop by instead of feeling like a chore. Most importantly, the cleaning itself is exceptional. I brought in my puffer jacket, which can be tricky to clean properly, and it came back looking absolutely perfect. It was spotless, refreshed, fluffy, and smelled amazing--like new. No residue, no stiffness, no weird odors--just beautifully cleaned with obvious attention to detail. You can tell they truly know how to care for high-quality and delicate items. Honestly, you will not find a better dry cleaner in the Bay Area. Don't risk your clothing anywhere else--come here only. There's a reason they consistently have 5-star reviews, and they absolutely live up to the hype.

My husband brought the dress in specifically to see if a tough stain could be removed. They sent it out to a third-party cleaner who they claimed has "been in business for 30 years." Not only was the stain still there (which we understood was a possibility), but the dress was returned in complete disarray. It came back looking like an accordion, with a new snag on the shoulder, a pen mark on the collar, and random dirt marks. The original stain wasn't even in a noticeable place, but the new damage is impossible to miss. To make matters worse, the employee handed the dress back to my husband without a single word about its condition; I only discovered the damage once he brought it home. I sent photos and even brought the dress back in person to show her the damage. She offered to ask the third party what happened, but I refused to leave the dress in their careless hands a second time. I don't even want money--the dress is irreplaceable. I just wanted acknowledgment, an apology, and a shred of accountability for handing over an item in that condition. Unreal. Save yourself the risk and go to Mama's just a few stores down. Don't trust them with your clothes.

As a first-time customer, I visited this laundromat on a Sunday morning to wash large bedding…read moreitems. I used two of the large-capacity machines for duvet inserts and a separate machine for a mattress pad, all with the same detergent. The mattress pad came out clean and smelled exactly as expected, but both duvet inserts came out with a very strong wet dog odor. The laundromat did offer to reimburse the two $17 wash fees after i emailed them, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the issue became much larger than that. I took the duvet inserts home and attempted to rewash them, only for the odor to transfer into my own washing machine. I am now spending additional time and money running cleaning cycles and sanitizing my washer. Meanwhile, the duvet inserts still smell. Tons of Bubbles suggested I pay an additional $80 for their wash-and-fold service in the hopes of fixing both items. Instead, I have taken them to another laundry service and am hoping they can be salvaged. As of this review, the issue remains unresolved. I still have two smelly duvet inserts and may ultimately have to replace them entirely. What ultimately prompted this review, however, was the customer service. My husband called hoping to calmly discuss the situation and find a solution. Instead, Deanna became confrontational, blamed us for the issue, and stated that customers are responsible for cleaning the machines before use as staff arrives at 9am to do cleaning inspections. That explanation was surprising. If the laundromat is open and available for customers to use, it seems reasonable to expect the machines to be clean and ready for service, regardless of whether staff are currently on-site. Customers should not be expected to inspect or sanitize commercial washing machines before every load. Problems happen. What matters is how they're handled. Had this been addressed professionally and respectfully, I likely would have remained a customer. Instead, I was left with bedding that still smells, additional expenses, time spent cleaning my own washer, and a customer service interaction that was unexpectedly hostile. Based on both the condition of the machines and the way this situation was handled, I would not return.

I was just a bit upset about the change in price given my first purchase.
