Seriously. The vibes when I walked in was...weird. I get the door, anything could of happened, especially near Mississippi and 225. Like...who wants to do ANY business there due to the homeless population that has now turned that area into a miniature Skid Row. I don't know. I'm not sure what it was. One Hour Optical - Uum.....no. - Optometrists Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

Went in yesterday for an eye exam and to get new contacts. Got there earlier than expected and they got me in very quickly. Was fitted for new contacts and went on my way. This morning I noticed I couldn't see anything close up. Called the office and they got me right back in today. Dr. Dobson and Luis were so accommodating, concerned and kind. The doctor tweaked my script a little, and I'm just very pleased with my experience. Five stars across the board, and I will recommend Eyecare Specialties to everyone I know. Thanks team!! read more

Optometrists were fantastic but don't make up for front office staff fitting frames. Picked up the $660 glasses & young woman could care less even though took 2 months (only after my follow-up calls). $180 frames had a clean break at arm hinge after only 10 months --a different young woman wouldn't stand by their product, offering small % discount to replace with same poor quality Championship brand?! Pfft, plenty of eyeglass competition; go somewhere else. read more

The new staff is so unprofessional I was told one thing and the other lady kept changing it. They dont care about the patients they are just after the money. I've never gotten a call back to let me know if my contacts are ready after more than a month and they don't pick up when you call. Not professional, will be finding somewhere else to go after I eventually get my contacts. read more

Awful experience, I waited for a month to have my glasses ready, and when I pick them up they were incorrectly made (I could not see anything clear), the worse part is that some of their employees lack basic customer service skills! I'll never return to this place. read more

Kyle was a huge help today, he was very good at explaining how my insurance coverage works. I was able to get my osha safety glasses with complete ease. I would recommend this place to anybody with VSP. Thank you very much. Edit: they did mess up on my glasses and got me the wrong prescription, however they did replace it no problem. It was very annoying to get a text saying my glasses were ready, only to drive there and find out that a "glitch" happened in their system and sent texts to everyone that there's was ready. Overall it is still a good place to go, staff is friendly, definitely call them to double check your glasses are really there. read more

Great selection and incredible service. I went to this store after buying frames that I wasn't happy with at another store. I walked in as Melissa and Jessica were closing up. They let me stay and try on frames, and offered me their opinions on what looked good. Then after i picked my new frames, they waited for me to call my original store to see if they had them in stock (risking losing out on my sale). When I decided to buy the frames with them, Jessica and Melissa tried to ring me up, but they had already closed down the system. So, they let me run to the ATM for cash. I called in advanced to make an appointment, I gave them all my insurance information to make sure they were in network and that I was covered. (I knew that I was because my mom who is on the same insurance had been there previously that year). I went in for my exam and the doctor was very nice and helpful, she dialated my eyes and I went out to look at glasses while we waited for it to set in. After I had literally tried on every pair of glasses in the store and waited for 45 minutes, they told me that I was not covered at this location. They said that I would either have to sign a document stating that I would have to pay out of pocket if my insurance would not pay or that I would need to drive to their other location on Colorado Blvd. My eyes were DIALATED! This was the first time I had ever had that done and was already nervous about driving home, let alone driving in rush hour traffic to Colorado Blvd. I was furious. I told them that my mother had been there previously and they then said that hers was probably not covered either and that she would receive a bill from the visits months before. I didn't really have any option but to sign the form saying I would pay. I let them know I would definitely not be purchasing glasses from them. A little while later I received a letter from them saying they were incorrect, the insurance did cover it and they offered me a discount on a pair of glasses. After that unnecessary ordeal they put me through, I would never ever use them again. read more

I went in for an appointment and was told I cancelled it. The woman who greeted me was rude and used the F-bomb with a child in the store. The next person who spoke to me told me completely different information from my original call to set up the appointment in reference to the cost of eyeglasses. BAIT & SWITCH! So I gave her the letter from my eye surgeon saying the procedure, date, name of the doctor and instructions if there were any questions. The tech who was assigned to help me was very nice but couldn't get her IPad to update my information. Remarkably, this letter got lost in the store. The tech told the optician what my story was and the optician refused to examine me without all my info. Did I say I waited over an hour to be seen with the employees talking about me right in front of me? This is not the type of business I choose to work with. A COMPLETE ZERO in my opinion. read more

Super rushed. Which is what I usually like, but this was like really rushed. Not much cheaper than anywhere else that takes VSP. Only went here because it is next to my house. Also called for an inquiry after my visit and never got called back. Typical for this part of town, nobody cares attitude. Overall, meh. read more

I wish I could give this place less than a 1 star review. I've been waiting on a pair of glasses for over 3 weeks as of today. I reached out to see if they would be ready this week(as I was previously told this the week before). Come to find out, my frames haven't even been sent out from their office to be fitted with my lenses! They've been sitting in the office for the past 3 weeks and no one can tell me what happened. Only that they "weren't aware" they were never sent out. The person who put the order in(supposedly) isn't in the office today, and neither was the manager ironically. Victoria stated that it would be AT LEAST another two weeks before my glasses would be ready which would put the time frame over five weeks! Maybe if Raul(the manager), wasn't so busy click clacking around in those boots he wears, and talking about how he ended up with the manager position, and those chicks that work in the office weren't so busy giggling at the front desk, they would know what the hell is going on in there. Would never return to this location for a pair of glasses again. They sure did take the money fast when it was time to pay however. Good thing I have more than one pair of glasses I can wear. read more
