Dr Megan Sullivan is my Optometrist and she was very thorough about providing me the details of my eye care. Having diabetes, it's very important to have someone that can tell me how I am doing regarding my eye site. I know that I am in good hands, and feel comfortable speaking with her. The ordering of my new glasses is always easy and they make sure to utilize my insurance. The front desk lady was very nice and helped us get our next appointment scheduled for next year. Do not waste your time or your benefits on this place. The staff has the unique skill of being both rude and ignorant. None of the staff seems to know who is in charge or what services they provide. I called to see if my glasses were in and was told no. In fact they were in. I was told that I would be called when they did come in and another week has gone by and I received no message. I just called again and my glasses are in and I was told have been in since the first day that I called. I mentioned this to the woman on the phone and she seemed delightfully uninterested about how upset I was that I never received a text message or a call. I'm big on customer service and this was terrible customer service. The woman's response was the store hours and telling me I can come in whenever is convenient for me. This is a pretty exclusive place. I drove from work, in Denver, during a rain storm, fought construction traffic and ended up 12 minutes late to my apt. I had already come in previously to do my new patient paperwork and give them my insurance so, I figured that would make up for my unintended tardiness. Today I had a horrible experience with the front desk staff. I walked in with my son who had on a medical grade mask and I had on a semimesh mask due to a medical exemption for an unhealed staff infection. The front desk lady told me that my mask wasn't good enough. I then told her that I was fully immune. She then asked me to leave the building even though my son who is a minor was taken back to an exam room. I was told that I had to wait in my car. It was over 100° in my car with the windows down with the sun blaring through the windows. I told her that I had a medical exemption and even showed her the staff infection all under my nose and face. read more

First of all Dr. Dell is great! The Optometrist are the same and excellent. Do not go there for glasses!!! all of the old staff is gone :( and the new staff and management is terrible, they put untrained and inexperienced employees in the Optical, (just like America's Best Optical) yet still charge top dollar prices. We will never step foot in this business again. We've been coming here for 7 years for our entire family. Our daughter just turned 18 years and went in for her annual eye exam. We had her go in alone because of Covid-19. They up charged her and gave her all these unnecessary exams. They also charged her to sample different brand contacts because the optometrist said she should try something new. This is all unnecessary and taking advantage of a young consumer. I am a long term patient and customer at Eye to Eye Care in Highlands Ranch, stemming back to the previous location near University and HRP. Dr. Dell is a great physician, but staff are horribly incompetent. For the past 3 years, my contact order has been messed up each occasion. The staff does not put orders in correctly and blames one another. There is little follow up or follow through. And when you call or stop in to straighten this out, they want to charge additional copays to order the contacts. They said to me, you owe $5 more dollars and that is why your contacts were not ordered. No one called me to say the copay was incorrectly calculated. I had to call and come in as no one called me back after 15 days waiting for my contacts to arrive. Good grief. Thank goodness they waived the $5, but the hassle and lack of communication is extremely disheartening for this business. read more

I've been going to Eye to Eye care for nearly fifteen years. Dr. Dell has been amazing, but the pricing for new glasses has gotten wildly out of control. Even with very good insurance, I was still going to have to pay $1,500 for glasses for myself, my wife and daughter. To top it all off, I picked out a pair of glasses, but decided against them once I started doing some research on options. Eye to Eye Care STILL billed my insurance company for the glasses I put on hold, even though I never purchased glasses from them - now I'm left to clean up the mess with my insurance company It's rather unfortunate, but I will not be going back here for any more services. read more

I went to Eye to Eye because they accepted my insurance even though I was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews. I wish I had listened to my gut and not come here. When I called the girl told me they took my insurance and no one said anything otherwise until I was completely finished and ready to pay. As it turns out they only contract with my insurance for the exam not the contact fitting or actual contacts. They literally waited until I was done and then told me so I had to pay the full amount. It's very deceiving and no other place I called lied and said they took my insurance when they actually didn't. I wish I had just gone to Costco and paid full price because it still would have been cheaper and to be honest they give a more thorough exam for what you pay. AND I still have to go to Costco anyway for my contacts since I caught them before I ordered contacts from them at full price. Definitely wont be back and wont be recommending to anyone. read more

I have been getting glasses at this location for over 8 years and would now not even give them one star. They have terrible customer service and do not care about the work their lens company does and takes no responsibility for their products. I bought two pairs of my glasses (over $700.00) with the same prescription and yet were completely wrong lenses on two separate revisions and now are claiming that a 40% restocking fee should be charged. When asked what a restocking fee was for they had no answer. I was even more than happy to mail them back my useless glasses, but would not reimburse me my $358.00. Being a health care provider, I know healthcare and this is NOT acceptable on many levels. Please do not go there for any services and save yourself the hassle and don't ask to talk to the manager, Kayla, because she does not return any calls and is always unavailable. read more

I tend to be very specific with my drs and am Very happy with Dr Zavoda and the facility. I had mistakenly gone to a dr and eye center closer to my home ...what an unfortunate experience!!!! I was glad to go back to eye to eye and Dr Zavoda and had a terrific experience! Dr Zavoda and the staff explained my VSP insurance benefits to me and even were able to optimize costs for my contacts. The only downfall was I did not receive my Rx for my contacts. read more

Great place! The staff is very friendly After my puppy chewed up my glasses :(, they were able to get me in that day! They have a VERY large and extensive selection of eye glass brands I was looking for Oliver people and Paul Smith to replace the Paul Smith glasses that my dog chewed They have an in-house lens lab. So from what I understand they just order the frames and fit up the lenses to your new frames! Usually it takes about 3 to 4 weeks with other places. They were trying as hard as they can to get me my glasses in just 2 business days! read more

Very disappointed in Eye to Eye. We have used this company for the last 5 years. My daughter just turned 18 and went in for backup glasses. She requested the lenses covered by our insurance. In the end they charged $400 over the insured amount!!! My daughter told them it was too much but they assured her that was required for her prescription. This was a flat out lie. I want to give them 5 stars but my experience with the thick Asian girl at the front was not pleasant today and from an earlier visit, the front desk people transposed my contacts by labeling the left side right. Today, there was some confusion when I checked in and I must have pissed off the Thick One. I asked the Thick One for a copy of my signed forms and inquired how they handle personal and confidential patient information. She said, "I just process paperwork", took her time to scan the form then tossed it under the counter. She looked at me and said, "oh, do you want the original?" Staring at her monitor she retrieved it and mumbled that someone will be up front without even a glance. Clearly, she seemed intent to make me wait and ensure I have an unpleasant experience. Super accommodating, they took me as a "walk-in" since I accidentally showed up a day earlier than my scheduled appointment. Dr. Zavoda was so nice and spent extra time answering the many questions I had. I left with a prescription for new contacts and glasses, as well as a free sample of a new contact solution to try. I went in with my kids to replace my lost Ray-Ban eyeglass case. They told me they would regretfully have to charge me $20 for the Ray-Ban case, since their supplier charges them. Instead, they handed me a better case at no charge and said "Have a nice day!" My 7 year old daughter said "Wow, Eye to Eye care really cares about customer service!" I agree. We have been going to Eye to Eye care for 15 years and I would not choose any other place for eyeglasses and contacts. I have a family of five and four of us wear contacts and glasses. All the Doctors are excellent and you could tell Dr. Dell picks his people well. As a busy working mom, it is unfortunately hard to find the time to get a new glasses prescription filled for my girls in light of the requirement for optical shop appointments. When an afternoon on our end suddenly freed up, I immediately called Eye to Eye Care to see if they had any available openings at the optical shop. When they told me to come on in, I was thrilled and quickly gathered my girls (ages 4 to 6) and drove during rush hour traffic to promptly arrive. When I got there, and told the front desk representative that I was there for my girls' to pick out glasses and get a new prescription filled, I was told that there was no time available. When I explained that I had called ahead and was told to come on in, they challenged that I had done this. When I showed them the number that I called, they rudely said that was not their number. I was left baffled and thought maybe I had made a mistake, because after all, the optical shop should know their own number and presumably would be honest with me. When I called the number to figure out what optical shop I had actually called, I was shocked when Eye to Eye Care answered the phone. Instead of apologizing to me or agreeing to fit me in, they dug their heels in and insisted that that was not their number and they had no idea why their phone had rung. I understand mistakes happen, but to be given no apology and to be lied to is unacceptable. After being so rudely treated and lied too, I left with two crying girls in tow. We have been patients at Eye to Eye for many years, but something has changed. Owners and management. We've always been happy there. 3 of us went in this summer, shortly after it had been sold and new management took over. We could tell it wasn't the same, but we got our exams, new glasses and contacts, and went on our merry way, knowing we could possibly look for a new eye care place. The other day however, we NEEDED help. My daughter had a stye and had seen the GP doctor twice and it wasn't getting better. I decided to call the EYE DOCTOR, since it was her EYE. Well, this rude, incompetent person on the phone said they were too busy to see THEIR PATIENT, my daughter. She seemed put out that I even called (maybe having a bad day, but still). So here we are, left to our own devices, trying to get her eye to heal on our own. THIS IS HER EYE, FOR HEAVENS SAKE!!! They actually had the audacity to ask for a review, so here it is. Don't go! It's changed for the worse so much and they apparently don't care who they hire now, or train them about customer care, etc. I also noticed some of the people who used to work there under the old owner are no longer there. I don't blame them. I can't even get my daughter in to see someone about a stye she's had for over 2 weeks? Nope. We are on the hunt for a new eye doctor in HR. read more

My husband and I have been patients of Eye to Eye Care for several years now because of the quality care and service they consistently provide. Without any correction, my eyes and vision are just terrible due to a combination of a few factors, and I've had problems in the past with eye doctors unable to get my vision Rx right. When it comes to my vision and eye health, I require more from my eye doctor than the average patient. Personally, my patient history has demonstrated for me that I can trust Eye to Eye Care to deliver. I also want to add how incredibly impressed I am with their friendly, helpful staff. place is as scummy as it gets, they tell you one price upfront then jerk you around and jack up the price after you're already committed. They quoted me for lenses one day, then that price more than doubled when I had them made. If I had the time I would have walked out of the store but I needed my glasses immediately so I didn't have a choice. Even after their price gouging they still didn't have my glasses done on time. I had to call THEM, checking on my glasses, for them to realize "Oh wait we haven't even started making them." Absolute nightmare, I'll find some place else next time I need glasses. read more

I am a VSP member and my first visit with Eye to Eye was this past Saturday. I learned of E2E from the VSP website which list them as a "Preferred" provider, hence my pick to make an appointment, not to mention their office is near our home. I originally made an appointment for 9/8/14 but had to change it because plans changed. I called E2E and the appointment change was made with no hassle. I arrived for my appointment and the check-in process was very easy and co-pays were explained. I was then greeted by Zack who took necessary photos of my eyes, made measurements, etc. Zack said I would be seen by Dr. Warren and within minutes, the Dr. walked in. Dr. Warren (Tuesday) was very pleasant and very eager to explain my needs. After my exam, I was taken out for fittings for a new pair of reading/computer glasses. The entire experience was pleasant! Their doctors are good and their eyeglasses are fine, but way too expensive! I have VSP for vision insurance. A pair of progressive eye glasses after insurance cost $313.00. A pair from Costco after insurance cost $120.00. That's with high index, anti-reflective glare, polished edges and progressive lenses. Keep in mind that Eye to Eye care had quoted me their LEAST expensive progressives. I even got a designer frame from Costco! read more
