Travis did my ink, and not only was he professional, but incredibly kind and easy to talk to. Even though I had him re-do my stencil 6 times, he wasn't frustrated or impatient, he made 100% sure that I was happy with the end result. Just left this store because the manager is a POS. The woman behind the counter greeted me and was extremely kind, asked what I was looking for and I told her I wasn't sure just wanted to see what my options were. I mentioned that I also am in the alternative industry. The manager (who looks so freaking high I'm not sure how he drove to work) comes around the corner and tells me to leave because I'm trying to rip off their products when all I was there for was to spend money and try some new gummies or a vape. The owners of this shop should be embarrassed at a few things when it comes to their staff 1. How freaking stoned this man sounds when he's speaking to customers 2. How STUPID he is for not just simply asking what I was looking to buy 3. You need new clothes you look like a burnout from the 90's We made sure to contact the liquor control board after leaving this establishment and asked them to do a check up on the location and the products they are selling because they are obviously doing some sketchy shit and don't want people to know that know what to look for!!! read more

So.... I am in there . I purchase a bong, vape juice and a 510 battery wax atomizer.... on paying... I say hey, is usually spend about $200 a week at drip n' rip just buying new stuff that comes out. Can you give me a call when new stuff comes in so I can look at it... the girl says yes and when I was about to write my number... the Dude with the rooster/peacock haircut and Mario shirt yells across the store "oh we don't do that anymore we don't take numbers" so I ask the girl "is he the owner", she responds that he isn't and then he proceeds to yell "I'm about to ask you to never come back again". At that point I walk out...... So... here's the issue: is the dude that self conscious and self loathing that questioning his position in the shop hurts his sensitive little heart? As a district manager for a company, his actions were extremely unprofessional, distrusting and disrespectful. He charged towards me when he claimed he was going to ask me to never come back. Was he going to hit me? His body actions were that of a person who was hurt in his heart and wants to take out his anger on the world. If having this hostile person in yalls shop is the type of business y'all do, then I will never visit again. I am always skeptical in coming here as is because prices are WAY over industry norm but, to have a low self esteem person of no power try and threaten me is beyond my understanding. I came in one day to ask for help, I had gotten an infection from an ear piercing I got at Walmart. When I mentioned to the OWNER Travis, that I had just turned 18 recently (at the time) he *suggestively* said he could give me a free tattoo in exchage for *something else*. He and I were the only ones in the building at the time. I backed up as we continued to talk and he ended up touching my butt when I was leaving. I got my daith pierced a couple months ago (at Platinum ink) and this afternoon, my piercing fell out... I was able to get the piercing itself back in but couldn't get the ball back on for the life of me, so I decided to head up to One Love since it is right up the road from my house. I go inside to see 2 very unenthusiastic girls behind the counter and I ask if they can put the ball back on for me. "Yeah... but we'd have to charge you $20" I thought my ears were broken so I repeated "$20??? To screw my ball back in??" The girl goes "well yeah... we would have to put gloves on and stuff" let me mention, they offer full blown piercings for $20. Needless to say I will never go back read more

You can't do returns on nicotine products in Texas so I was just going to bite the bullet and deal with it but when I brought this up an angry scream from the back said " that's because other places have fake crap!!!!!" If you charge high prices, just be honest about it, don't try to lie to make yourself seem better. Worst experience ever at a tattoo shop! My wife and I scheduled an appointment to get tattoos for our wedding anniversary. We came in the prior day to go over the design and place a deposit. The girls that helped us were kind. Today, we came in for our appointment and a man came out immediately with an attitude, he stated no drinks are allowed, which was not problem, despite his attitude. He then went on to say and only one person allowed in the back which was not explained to us yesterday when we told the shop that we were getting them together. Not being allowed to get them together defeats the whole purpose of the visit. I told him that nobody let us know that that was the case. We wanted to be together. He then went on to tell us that he was the owner of the shop. I can only describe the way that he spoke to us and the way that he acted as if he were on drugs. Absolutely insane! As we left to get in our car, he yelled out the door no refunds! When we asked if we could sign something that stated we would get a refund, he threatened to call the police. read more

Artist did a good job overall. There were some details that were missed and felt that I was being hustled for more money for a job that was not completed and wanted additional money for touch up. I never complained about cost, but at least finish what was agreed upon. I wanted more work done, but I didn't feel the connection and interest from the artist. I am having more work done but will be looking for a new artist to finish my story. I got my second tragus piercing a week ago (spent $100 for gummies, piercing, and new jewelry for 2 other piercings) and earlier this week, the ball on my piercing fell out... I was able to get the piercing itself back in but couldn't get the ball back on for the life of me and then I lost it, so I decided to head to One Love since I am a regular customer there and the counter employee is always very polite. I went inside to see 3 employees in the store and asked if I could get a replacement ball. "Yeah... but we'd have to charge you $20," I thought I misunderstood, so she repeated it, and asked me to fill out another release form. This is poor customer service. Customers either make or break your business. I will never go back nor will I refer anyone there. I called after I left to calmly talk to the person that I usually deal with behind the counter and she stated that they would have to call the owner to ok giving a bead/ball away. Why did they not offer to do that while I was there? Such a simple resolution that could have been handled so differently. read more

Made an appointment, left a deposit and on my scheduled time m was told that the owner should've called me by now to say that gift card appointments can only be done by him. I went in last Saturday after I called and asked about a walk in. Travis was able to do my tattoo and had my idea already drawn up when I entered the shop. I don't know why people are saying he is rude because he was really nice to me . He was professional and his line work was amazing. I'm so impressed that I am planning on going back to get another tattoo done by him in the next week or two. The first thing I noticed is the shop is very clean and he is very articulate with his sanitation procedures. Which made me feel even more comfortable getting a tattoo done at One Love Tattoo. I told him I wanted my daith pierced and he stared at me then finally said "is that for migraines?" My instincts were shouting LEAVE but I talked myself into it being anxiety. Noticed my jewelry didn't come out of a sterile package and in middle of piercing he had to go to the back for something and kept the same gloves on. GROSS! He barely said 5 words to me.
