Frickles. Very tasty, but very small. Hard to share amongst three people.

Disappointed. Service: The restaurant wasn't very busy, maybe 5-6 other tables occupied. We waited over 20 minutes without a waiter before we asked someone if we even had one. A minute later, the waitress arrived, and didn't even spare us a "sorry for your wait". She wasn't personable, acted like she had better things to do, and brought the flatbread one of us ordered as an entree with the appetizer. Food: Lackluster. The Frickle appetizer was the best part, but it was small. I had the daily Mac and cheese, which was greasy and a bit grainy. The chicken pot pie didn't have many vegetables, and we found a bone in it. The chicken ranch flatbread was soggy. I can't imagine we'll ever go back.

Nicely remodeled - good look, big bar Great beer selection, tons of taps, good options, lots of Vermont beer and decent prices I especially enjoyed the 'roasted wings' with peanut and thai spices - with habanero - perfect amount of heat - but you better like a bit of spice. Burger was good too. -local beef, ideal medium rare Caesar salad dressing was just how i would want it to be - i can taste the anchovy glad to have a new place in Randolph with good food!

My sister ordered a gin hibiscus drink that was complex in flavor yet still felt light. The space is small but cozy, and the subtle ocean theme is really nice. The service we received was exceptional. The cooks and bartender were very personable and answered our questions thoroughly and with ease. Since it was a slow day, the cook even prepared us an extra little dish (that was delicious by the way). The owner catches a lot of the fish they serve, so it is the freshest you will get in the valley. Their menu changes frequently, so some things you see online may not be available. We ordered several dishes to share: the smashed cucumbers, the tuna tataki, the inari nigiri, and the dry fried shiitake. You can tell the food is good because I forgot to take pictures before we started eating. The cucumbers were very flavorful and had the numbing heat associated with Szechuan cuisine. The tuna tataki had a perfect sear on it. The inari is hard to mess up but was still very good! The highlight dish for me was certainly the dry fried shiitake. It was very flavorful with some heat to it and tasted smoky as it was cooked with bacon. The rice portion was a good size so as not to drown out the mushrooms. We left full and happy. One thing to note- the spicy yellowtail roll is actually spicy, so if you can't handle your spice you should opt for something else. My family has lived in the valley for more than 20 years and my mom says this is the best restaurant in the valley right now. We will certainly be back and will be telling our friends about it.

The hostess was incredibly personable and sweet. I'd had a crap day and really just wanted a beer. It was 5 minutes to close. I figured it wasn't going to happen, but I figured I'd look at their draft menu for the next day and get an idea of what I'd want to eat when I come back. Not only did they take great care of me and get me a MUCH needed beer, but when I came back to eat the next day it got even better! I couldn't decide which beer I wanted. The girl was SO nice and gave me half of each. Good call, because I definitely liked one more than the other! Now HERE is the BEST PART: the worthy burger. Sweet Jesus. I heard angels. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. Ever. The bun was perfect and THOSE PICKLES! The cheese was perfectly melted. Just the right amount of secret sauce. Did I mention the pickles were amazing? I also ordered truffle fries with Parmesan and a kid size order of the Mac and cheese. Because real cheese. They weren't bad. The truffle fries were on the milder side, but tasty. Maybe a little soft. Pro tip: get the pesto aoli to dip! I like homemade Mac and cheese and I hardly ate more than a few bites. I had heard great things but eh. Maybe I was just in love with the burger! I didn't get a picture. I'm from the South, and while I love the freshness and farm to table options all over the Green Mountain State, the lack of juicy, flavorful, fried chicken in any form was my foodie hardship.
