Pretty solid menu, larger bar area for games, and overall very clean! Came here while visiting my parents on a Saturday night for a casual bite. I agree with some of the other reviews, looks so similar to Granite City, however it brings a nice place to watch a game or casually grab dinner on this side of Jackson. We agreed the service was good and we all thought the food was worth the price. I really enjoyed the salmon avocado club, the fish was perfectly cooked. We will be back! read more

We were there tonight for a birthday party and were given a limited menu. The limited menu had no prices and no kids meal. Thus we were under the assumption that the meals were paid for by the host (since there weren't any prices). we were shocked when we got our bill! not only were the meals not covered, but I ended up paying $25 for a sirloin and wasn't even able to get it cooked the way I wanted (was told when they brought it out I could have medium well or medium rare but not medium as I had ordered). I also had my 10 year old order off the limited menu (adult entree portions) because I thought that we had to since it was all going to the host. she barely ate any of her $18 pasta! furthermore, we covered my moms bill and she ordered a peach margarita. the drink menu said it was $7 but they up charged her (us) for premium liquor and then an extra $1 for the peach flavoring. IT WAS LISTED AS A PEACH MARGARITA!! service was great! the waitresses were lovely but the way the organize a large event was terrible. makes me not want to go back there again! read more

Got there around 9 on a Saturday and the place was winding down from dinner rush. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks and the torpedo shrimp appetizer. Which was OK but a little chewy. Needs a bit more "heat" to the dressing too but I would order them again Also quickly ordered the spicy sausage flatbread... Here's where it went downhill. Very nice looking place. But the first time we went there to eat the food was not good AT ALL! So after several months we tried it again maybe it was just one bad experience. This time it was a Friday night the place was half full. The hostess seated us and there we sat for 15 min. Watchin others walk in and get water and order drinks. I had to walk over and ask the hostess to send a waitress to our table. The waitress apologized and said she didnt know our table was in her section. After that the service was ok but my tacos were ice cold.the meat was like they took it out of the refrigerator and served it. Very disappointed with my to go order. I called to place an order for chicken tenders with fries and two burgers but one had a food allergy with gluten and dairy. When my mother and I came to pick up our food there were three employees having a conversation behind the bar- not a single one said hello or even looked at us. After standing for a couple minutes by the register someone asked us if we needed something. I said we had an order for pickup. I gave them my name on the order and was told someone will be up to help you. We waited some more. When we finally got our food I checked the bag. Thankfully I did because they had cheese on the dairy / gluten free burger, and our chicken tender meal had no fires. I said I'm sorry these tenders have no fires. The lady that was originally behind the bar said aggressively "our tenders don't come with fries" mind you I specifically order them WITH fries and paid for it with fries. Then the burger that had the food allergy. I've eaten here serval times and it used to be one of my favorite places. Even my mom from out of town raves about their burgers. But if this is the type of service I'm going to get on a to go order then I won't be back. Especially when a restaurant is made aware of a food allergy and they ignore it is crazy!!! I was very disappointed...I'm on a business trip and needed a place to eat dinner. The hotel recommended the restaurant and I noticed it off the highway, I had some high expectations only to be disappointed. I ordered the fish tacos and a French onion soup. The tacos looked more like a wrap or burrito and it didn't taste good. The service was horrible, I waited 12 minutes before being acknowledged then it took another 8 minutes before I can place my order (I was sitting at the bar with 6 other customers and 1 bartender). It's a real mix of okay and not-so-good. It's new, it's (mostly) clean and the menu is varied and not overpriced. The entrees our party ordered were good, except the fries were too soft. Entrees don't come with any extras. The beer list is fine, but wine choices are limited. The not-so-good: check the temperature in the area you get seated in- the "porch" can be too chilly and drafty even though it's enclosed. Service is willing, but obviously inexperienced. No offer for appetizers, more drinks, or dessert. All in all, it's yet ANOTHER sports bar in a town that has more than enough of them. I would go back to One North someday, but it won't be soon. read more

I took my girlfriend here and it was easily the worst experience I have ever had dining out. The service is basically non-existent. First, the hostess walked us past our booth (which was the first table to the left and the only booth that was even available). So we walked all the way around the back and then looped back around to the front. Rather than apologizing or mentioning "enjoy your meal", the hostess just put our menus on the table with her back to us and walked away. This was just the beginning. We ended up ordering the fish dip appetizer, the fish wrap, and a chicken wrap. The fish dip (noted as one of the restaurants signature items) had very little fish and had a large scoop of cream cheese hidden underneath to make it seem like a decent portion. For $13 we were certainly not impressed. The wraps were decent but again nothing special. Sadly, the french fries were the best part of our meal. Things got worse once we had finished our meal. The waitress gave us the bill and mentioned "whenever you are ready". I put my card on the bill as soon as she walked away. She did not return for 10 minutes. During that time she messed up the order for the people behind us and two managers eventually came out. We had to ask one of them to take care of our bill. The manager did not say a word to us but certainly mentioned something to our waitress. He eventually returns with our bill but there was no pen. Our waitress finally walked by and I asked her for a pen. As I am filling out my bill, the waitress rudely stood there while I was finishing the bill. I was planning on leaving her a cash tip, but this enraged both my girlfriend and myself. She then had the nerve to mention "I can just take that". This was the final straw and my girlfriend and I decided to not leave a tip. This was the first time I had never left a tip, but this experience was extremely disappointing and we wanted to get out as soon as possible. I will not be going back and I do not recommend this place to any one until the service improves. read more

Well, the atmosphere is that of a sports bar, has multiple TVs playing the games. Seems to have been plenty of seating, but we went early, so not sure of the crowd. For dinner my wife had their Tacos w/steak and I had the Buffalo chicken & blue cheese Mac & cheese. My wife opinion was that the meat tasted great, but there wasn't much meat to begin with. Her meal came with a side of Spanish rice and she said that it was cooked fine, but had little to no flavor. As for my meal, the Buffalo chicken & blue cheese Mac & cheese had a great flavor and the crumbs coating on top was tasty, but it seems the sauce was kinda runny, not sure that's what it supposed to be, but just saying. The one stellar thing about my meal was that it had a lot of chicken. Every bite had chicken all the way to the end and the flavor of the dish was excellent, just enough heat but not too much to overwhelm the flavor. The cost of the meal, hers & mine plus two teas was just a tad over $30, not including tip. Not a bad price, just hope the next set of tacos have more that a couple of pieces of meat. read more

Great new lunch spot! I'm in the Jackson area for work quite often so One North has answered my wish for something new. I had the Cobb Salad and it tasted as good as it looked! The presentation was spot on. There was definitely enough for two meals. I sat at the bar and Ashley was friendly and attentive. When I sit at the bar, I hope for an engaging bartender and Ashley was great. It was nice to see Jason, the General Manager, was an active part of the team. We had dinner there last night, we didn't wait long for our food, but were very disappointed in the quality. I ordered COD and recieved 3 pieces that were the size of 3 x 3 post it note and the fries looked like they got them out of the bottom of the fryer. My husbands burger was bland and mildly warm. Our waitress came back to our table once after the food was served, as she ran by asking if everything was OK. We needed refills on coffee and she never appeared again until it was time to give us our check, when we told her about the fries, she seemed unconcerned. The bartender was so loud and obnoxious that is was difficult to have an enjoyable meal. The food is overpriced....$7 for a piece of cheesecake..no way is this restaurant going to survive with the poor quality food and wait staff who know nothing about customer service. Let me tell you the service and food was top notch and absolutely delicious! Everyone in our party commented on how good the food was!
