It's just not good Ayce looked like a great time, so I got seated and informed the waiter I'd like to do that. She let me know that ayce is for parties of two or more. They did allow me to do ayce but I wished I just went to kpot. Seasoned meats were not well seasoned. The meats smelled gamey and were tough to chew. The scissors aren't sharp and didn't work. The wait staff did not turn on my grill so I was confused for a while. Banchan were under seasoned. Blah.

Food was amazing and [[HIGHLIGHT]]atmosphere is top notch[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], if you're a night owl and get the munchies, this spot is for you! Great service and very nice owner!

been coming to One Pocha for years now, i have great memories here with my friends. KBBQ is always gonna be a bit pricey but worth it. It's delicious y'all, you gotta prepare yourself to eat so you get your moneys worth. The service could be a little better, the couple times we went, the servers can be a little neglectful when you need something or trying to call them over. The soju is overpriced unfortunately... None of the less, i will still always come back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The karaoke rooms are so fun too btw![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't forget about that!

Okay, YUM! My sister took us to this Korean BBQ spot and I loved it! We all opted for the all-you-can basic option - but there was a premium option that came with three more meat options. First, the sides that come with everything were delicious; while I am not a huge kimchi fan, I did enjoy the radishes, potatoes, broccoli, and onions. Then, we were able to select up to three meats at a time - and they brought out HUGE portions. I honestly wish they were a bit smaller, so that we could try more of the other meat options (we were a bit scared off my the $20 "excessive leftover" charge listed on the menu). Everything also comes with rice, lettuce and a side salad. Overall, delicious, decently priced and attentive service!

Went in to order the yukgaeyang and tofu seafood stews and they were bland and there was no brisket found! They also claimed the yukgaeyang had brisket but there was nothing. Also ordered corn cheese and it was just mayo and cheese.. no flavor. Bad food is one thing but the service was bad. Waitresses got upset that we did not like the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also there was a basket with cabbage soaking on the floor in an open space right next to their restroom.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Major health violations going on.. terrible!

Great AYCE BBQ joint. Not that big inside, as such we opted to hangout at the bar and down some soju while we waited for our table. It's dimly lit, I think it's that way to make the place appear intimate, and it is that way if your are focused on your own group and the cookery that was about to begin. We sat down, and our server asked us how we wanted to proceed - basic or premium! We were there to go big! She got us our side dishes, rice, waters, and kept the kimchi coming. The premium only allows for 2 galbi strips per person so keep that in mind if you were just going for the galbi. On this trip we tried the galbi, the baby octopus, and the sam-gyeop-sal (pork belly). It was all good, but I have had thicker pork belly strips. Also, I feel like you can get a bigger selection at other places (i.e. Two Pocha, etc.). That said we didn't stop ordering... and unlike the other Pocha place, I didn't feel like we were on the clock. Our sever was great...she kept the grill changes fluid, and kept checking in on us. We ordered a fantastic Yuk-gae-jang stew to mix things up. It was all good, but it took a minute to get out to us. The spicy pork bulgogi was good, and the brisket was a good meat to order if you want things to cook fast. I ate to my stomach's fill, and then some. Would I come back? If some friends are in the area are interested in AYCE Korean bbq, this place would rank in the top 5...especially since it's the closest. The shaky thing is because of its size, you might have to wait. If you don't mind the wait, they do have a bar and plenty of K-Pop. I've waited longer in the NCR. Definitely consider this spot...especially if you're in the mood for norebang...which they have next door. Pro tip: Be ready with your next order of meats so they can keep the meats coming. We went with a Yuk-gae-jang to keep us busy, but it didn't come out fast...just keep that in mind.

Im happy to see that there are a few Korean BBQ spots open up in San Antonio and I like that this spot is opened up really late. I picked up a friend around 9pm from the airport and took them here. We had a good time and it was fun, we got the basic unlimited KBBQ. The overall quality was okay. My favorite was the spicy chicken but which normally I don't order chicken. The sides were also just okay. The service was good they changed the grill a few times. It's really easy to spilt the bill as you have to get up and pay at the register.

    Ambient was not for me.

I would not recommend this place for Korean BBQ. I would speak highly of the customer service because they are a great staff. But the food and ambiance, No! Let me tell you why. Each person no matter how many in the party pays at least $28.00 plus each for just the regular meat products. Not much of a choice of meats. The condiments are just okay. The ambience reminds me of a karaoke style dive bar with a dark and sleazy feel. There are many other Korean BBQ that may cost more but also worth your experience.

If this was in Houston where I am from, it would probably be three stars but considering the limitations in San Antonio, I gave it a 4. We didn't get the AYCE option because my younger kids wanted to eat several other options, so we just did a-la-carte. Food is good enough it you are in San Antonio and really craving Korean BBQ. It is small and we did have to wait a little bit for a table. I looks like it can get poppin' on weekends since it has a bar and karaoke stage! So plan accordingly!

Good spot for karaoke, they only do 2 hour reservations on the weekends. You can order food and drinks in the room as well as in the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location and service are so so but the food is good and the private rooms are so fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Delicious and it also came with a side of rice. I give the bulgogi a 9/10 And the hangover soup 10/10 Super delicious

There were 7 different banchan options, and some were great while others were just okay. The fish cake and kimchi cucumbers were good, but others like the kimchi and the bean sprouts could have used more flavor. As an entree, I ordered the spicy tofu soup, but I wish it was a little spicier! The soup also had a stronger seafood/fish taste compared to other tofu soups I've had, which I didn't expect. The service was just okay, not rude but also not excessively nice. I liked how cozy the inside felt with the dim lighting!

He checked on us throughout the meal, never hovering but always right there when we needed him. The staff and the Kpot bear came around with a birthday song and dessert for my husband which was a nice touch. The food is excellent! I feel like you can't go wrong no matter what you order. Chas Market & Kitchen had been long on my list and since it was minutes away, seemed like the most logical choice. I have constantly heard people sing its praises. I will say I'm not versed in Korean fare. I had previously went to another Korean Restaurant and had a terrible experience. It is somewhere on the outskirts of the Eastside, alongside the highway. From the exterior it feels like a neighborhood convenient store. Once inside the room opens up with ample seating and tables. I noticed the tables that are specifically for their "All You Can Eat" menu but that's for another review. Along the walls are fridges with drinks and little knick knacks. It reminded me of a bodega. After we found a seat a server came and left menus. The menu is really extensive. I decided on their beef bulgogi, again a redo after the previous restaurant fiasco. A hip soundtrack is playing overhead, which I believe gives the place a modern vibe. Before I go on I must include that the server was excellent. I say this as he was very attentive but still able to work the rest of the room. Whenever I go to a new place sometimes I feel an anxiety. My fear is being disappointed and having wasted my time. But my impression is that it is an ultra laid back place. You can leave your Armani suit and Louboutin shoes at home. When the food came to the table it was served on a plate steaming similar to a fajita plancha. The server brought over accompanying small dishes that are meant to be added to the bulgogi. The small dishes contained: kimichi, spicy cucumbers, radish etc. Combining any or all with the dishes heightened the flavors. I think this was the most unique tasting thing I've had this year. In addition if you want a drink you have to choose one from their wall of fridges. I think this might dissuade some patrons but again, the overall experience is like that of a bodega. If you are looking for great Korean food with excellent service by all means go to Chas Market & Kitchen. So far this year this has been the restaurant with the most unique flavors. It is perfect for a date night, friends or with family. And I have to, have to absolutely do their "All You Can Eat" where you cook all items. I'm buying if someone else is doing the cooking.

Skip K-Pot and eat here. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!…read more For starters, the inside of the restaurant is cozy. Very clean, spacious, and you can hear your thoughts. The staff is attentive and our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat. The waitress was patient with us and explained how the all you can eat works. We were used to K-Pot where you just order and order, whereas here you have a limit to what and how much you can order. You are limited to so many items at a time, and we found ourselves actually enjoying that. We were not overwhelmed with too much food and no space. You don't have to get up from your table at all, everything is brought to you. All of the sides they bring you to go with the all you can eat are so thought out and flavorful. The noodles, the cucumbers and the squash, everything. And everything is prepared fresh. All of our sides and soup came out hot and steaming. Not like heat lamp hot, like fresh out of the pan hot. We got the ttekboki, fried dumplings, and vegetable tempura. They were all delicious! Now the quality of the meats here is MILES beyond the chain KBbQ places. All of the cuts were a decent thickness, and were portioned quite well. They were very flavorful. We ordered thinly sliced steak, spicy bulgogi, bbq chicken, and pork belly. All were delicious. We were a table of 3 adults and 2 kids and did not even get a refill on the meats. They also have a smoke vent to help with the grill. We really appreciated that. And we never had to change our grill, because things did not burn. Often at other places they are walking around having to change grills 4-5 times. Overall, this has become our favorite Korean Restaurant. We already have plans to return and bring friends and family. Give this place a try.
