The food was good but i need to say how good the service was. My sibling has a shellfish allergy and they were so attentive! They double checked what we ordered, warned us about cross contamination (which we expected) and made sure the experience was good!

Very welcoming place, everybody speaks! The place was pretty empty when I arrived around 6 but that changed pretty quickly. The place got pretty loud but not unbearable. My friend and I sat at the bar which had preset settings, I'm assuming for small bites, didn't actually use them. Emma at the bar was an absolute peach, so sweet and she listened and delivered on good drinks! I had a Strawberry Saketini, delicious! I can't say the same for the Lychee Martini but Emma made me a J. Girl mocktail instead and it was a bit muddled, less sweet, a lil bit but we added a shot of vodka and some lemon to dress it up! Boom, from mocktail to cocktail just like that! I ordered the Takoyaki appetizer: Octopus balls. Battered octopus over egg tartar topped with mayonnaise, okonomiyaki sauce, fresh cut green onion and smoked bonito flakes. Here I was trying to be adventurous but they could've kept that! First thought was a çorndog but the mayo was a non starter (I like mayo) but not on this. Not sure why they even call it an octopus ball because the octopus was miniscule! Ordered the shrimp wonton appetizer as the main event, adding fresh garlic and cabbage which I wish was cooked, seasoned a lil! The ramen was meh, the shrimp in the dumplings was a lil overdone but also could've used some seasoning. The noodles were a bit overdone but I enjoyed my experience and will return!

Honestly, the service was great when I walked in, hardly waited at all. But when I was sat the table was still dirty and had left over straws and wrappers from previous patrons. Not a huge deal but at least it could have been wiped down. Once the food came it was really enjoyable and well cooked. Overall my experience was an 8.5/10

Fun ramen place. The staff greats customers entering and leaving trying to create a friendly ambience. The ramen was overall good. Price point wasn't quite there for value. The restaurant was clean. It's near a tesla charger so that will probably bring me back.

This place has the BEST ramen in San Antonio for SUREE!! We got the tonkatsu black and also the shrimp and chicken wonton soup. The broth tastes clean and fresh. We also came here during their happy hour and they have the best happy hour options! Some of their apps were half off! The Jinya bun was soo good and the pork belly melts in your mouth. The salmon poke tacos were super crispy and salmon is fresh. The crispy rice tuna is also one of my favorites! I love crispy rice! We lovee the ambiance! The restaurant is nicely decorated and we really like the vibes. We also really like the huge mural on the wall! Service was great - very nice people.

Love love anything noodly and ramen is one of my faves! Comfort food for my soul. The four of us were easily seated at a table. Our server was accessible, friendly, and prompt. Place was bustling for dinner, but turnover was quick. We ordered some cool drinks that involved fire- smoked old fashioned and a ringo mule, that were both pretty good. For my ramen, I ordered their Black Tonkatsu. It was good, but I've had better. I was underwhelmed with the broth, needed more flavor and I don't mean salt. I did add their complimentary table side spicy chili for a kick. The egg was delicious with a nice soft, runny yolk. The bowl could have used more protein as well. I opted for thick noodles instead of the thin. Hubby ordered the spicy chicken ramen. He ordered the egg, as the dish didn't come with it, extra $2. He found the protein to be menial and the level of spicy not too hot. It was ok... Great service, ramen ok. Their pork gyozas were delicious!

Finally a ramen spot that offers vegan items! The Spicy Creamy V was delicious. The portion was perfect, I was able to finish my bowl. The service was prompt and friendly! The decor and vibe of the place is gorgeous! There are a lot of seating arrangements and Im sure it gets packed. I visited on a Tuesday around 2 and there were only a few other people present. I will definitely be back. This is my new fave ramen spot! Check em out!

We got seated right away. All the staff from hostess to server were very polite and attentive especially Sarah. Great atmosphere. They have a bar and has an open kitchen. The food is delicious. We ordered premium red ramen, Jinya tonkatsu original, takoyaki and the crispy chicken with salad. The premium red ramen is very chewy and delicious and fresh, the broth is thick and I got the spice 2. It's more like medium spice. It was well seasoned broth, very creamy and a kick of spice. The takoyaki was well presented and the flavored mayo was on point with good amount of bonito flakes. The crispy chicken was flavorful, right crisp. The prices are very reasonable. They do have several locations on San Antonio. I must say the taste is consistent in all locations. This is a must try!

Really enjoyed this spot. Apps and ramen are delish. Drinks are aesthetically pleasing and very good. I had their nap bun, gyoza, and a ramen dish. I can't wait to go back

I love the look and vibe of this restaurant. I was seated quickly and the servers were very attentive. And the food was too good. I had the Birra Ramen with a season egg, Matcha Lychee Lemonade and the spicy tuna tacos. The ramen was amazing! The meat was cooked well and just tasted correct. The tacos were very very crunchy and the tuna in it did have some kick to it. And then the drink I would order everyday if I could. Plenty of space for parking.

Love Jinya! Every time has been great! The food is tasty and customer service is excellent. We have even ordered for pick up and that went very well! If you're close by and love Ramen, definitely try Jinya out!

This was my first time checking out this location of JINYA, and it was a great experience. Service was super quick, and our waiter was very friendly. The decor was vibey and very chic. I got the Tonkatsu Original 2010, which comes with extra thick noodles. I loved the noodles! They were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of chew. The broth was also delicious and so flavorful & rich. I love that they opened this second location in San Antonio because it is a little bit closer to me than the one up near UTSA.

Ramen is really flavorful and fresh. A decent selection to choose from. The atmosphere was a bit noisy for my taste (lunchtime).

Which makes me question the sincerity of the quality of their restaurant. I dined in and their menu was extremely limited and you have to add everything a la cart unlike other ramen places. On the menu they clearly state do not leave a bad review just leave direct feedback. But honestly, you shouldn't have to bribe or beg your patrons in trying to silence them. Make the needed adjustments to earn loyal customers, like not making them add every single ingredient as a separate charge, playing some music to drown out conversation from the other table, checking on your customers a little more often, and improving the quality of your menu. I love local businesses but the pressure they put on you as a customer, is unreal. I'll try giving them another chance but not anytime soon, I'll stick with Suck It in the Medical Center.

I had never eaten here before so I was really excited to try it and I'm so glad they brought me here because every single thing we tried was absolutely delicious! We sat outside on the patio, there was a nice breeze, and it wasn't too hot, and there weren't too many people out there, which was nice. Our server was great, she checked on us just enough, but not so much that it was bothersome. Off of the happy hour menu we ordered the shrimp and we love them so much we ordered a second one. We also ordered seaweed salad, which was delicious, pork dumplings, which were perfect, and the ginger, garlic beef with tempura sweet potato fries, and that was really good. I just wish that it wasn't ground beef because it was a little bit hard to get with chopsticks. We ordered a Philadelphia roll, and I cannot remember the names of the other two but one of them had yellow fish. (Sashimi I think) everything was wonderful and tasted super fresh. For a dessert we wanted to be daring and ordered the black sesame crème brûlée and it was absolutely wonderful! Not what I was expecting at all, the flavor was great, and the sesame seed was not overbearing. I can't wait to go back and try the Ramen and definitely dig back in to all of the awesome offerings on the happy hour menu!
