Hands down the most consistently lovely experience. I've had one of every pie and all of them are top notch. The crust is crazy good, flakey and buttery and perfect. If I tried to speak at all that is rude??? This was after her daughter hung up on me without even letting me complete a sentence. So I called back and the owner answered. I bought two $5 scones that turned out to be baked yesterday and were cold and hard from being kept in the refrigerator. According to the owner **I** was supposed to ask if they were fresh, or cold, or needed to be warmed up. It was all on me to find out. Really??? I wasn't supposed to assume they were fresh. Seriously?? It's a bakery. The **common and accepted practice** for a bakery is to sell "day old" baked goods as just that.....day old, and for a slightly lower price than same day freshly baked. Customers are supposed to know that they are buying a day old product and not same day fresh. The fact that they are selling a product and not selling it as day old is dishonest. Why would a customer be *expected* to ask if the scones are fresh? And one wonders how many days they would continue to sell those same refrigerated and old scones? I have purchased from their stand at the Beacon Farmer's Market many times and loved it. The young man who I buy from is great, always friendly and nice. The woman, who I assume is the owner is a horrible, rude woman. She went on a tirade about how I was supposed to find out if the scones were fresh, just on and on and on, and about how rude I was and my "tone". In her opinion the customer is always wrong. Awful person, obviously on the defensive. What a horrible way to run a business and a horrible and unprofessional way to interact with a customer. Just an awful woman. Here's a little tip....if you let the customer speak, finish a sentence and listen to them rather than not allowing them to speak they might not have that "tone". As soon as I tried to speak I was "rude", simply because I was speaking and not listening to her tirade. This woman is the rudest and most hostile business owner I have encountered. Oh.....I also bought a pie....that I just looked at. I specified apple and strawberry. The box is labeled apple and strawberry but the pie inside is blueberry. And the bottom crust is not done.

It was a super hot summer day so nothing pairs better than a nice smoothie. I was highly craving a smoothie bowl but sadly didn't have much time to enjoy one. I always feel like if you don't sit down properly to enjoy a smoothie bowl, you just end up with a brain freeze. So I went for the next best thing: a power protein smoothie! They have a vegan version with pea protein and almond milk which was awesome! I happily took this to go but this Vitality Bowls location is a complete vibe to come hang out and do some work or stop in for a quick lunch break. Love their fire place and cute neon sign. I'm a sucker for neon signs hehe. The window tints keep this place nice and cool and you can sit by the window and people/car watch. Right after me, about 15 people came in in the next 10 minutes, and there was only ONE person working. He was so overwhelmed with the in-person orders and online orders.. I felt bad that they were understaffed and he was running around. It took minimum 30 min for anyone to get their order. The tropical açaí bowl was tasty but at $13.50, very pricey. Probably won't come here again given the LONG wait and steep prices.
