What a stand up operation, which seems to be a rarity in this day & age…read more Our washer broke the night we came back from vacation. As a family of 5, that was a big deal! We called a few places & they were all scheduling days out. But not these guys! They came the SAME day! They quickly diagnosed the problem; a fried board. Got a price right away for the replacement part & labor & told us how long it would take for it to arrive. They called as soon as it came in & came back that day to install. When he put in the new part, it burned out right away. He found that there was a short that originated further down & that there was an additional board that was fried, making 2 in total. He advised that between the 2 boards & labor, it would cost more to fix it than to get a new washer & recommended we not fix it. He then said he wasn't charging me for the first board since it shorted right away & all I ended up paying for was the initial visit/diagnostic fee...that's it! I can't say enough how much I appreciated his honestly & the fact that he genuinely didn't want to see us blow money unnecessarily. He didn't ask me to shut off the electricity (how do you safely fix a switch without doing that?), refused to explain what exactly he did, gave me no receipt, and didn't leave any write-up. Then he had the nerve to ask me to pay him directly through his personal Venmo account. The whole thing felt incredibly shady. When I followed up with Benny, he basically said there was nothing he could do because Josue is independent and not actually part of his company -- so why refer him in the first place? This felt like a blatant cash grab, not professional service. Honestly, the business might as well be called "Quick and Easy CASH."
