When we couldn't reach our trusted repair man my husband called Benny's Appliance Repair for service on our washing machine which was working but leaking. We were given Josue's phone number and he came out. Charged us a home visit fee and then was vague about what was wrong and said he would charge us over $800 to fix. I originally called Benny's Appliance Repair to fix an issue. Benny told me he would send over "one of his guys." That "guy" turned out to be Josue, who I later found out doesn't even work for Benny's Appliance Repair -- he works for himself. I only discovered this after I emailed Benny to ask what the heck happened. Josue shows up, spends 20 minutes doing something vague, says he "fixed a switch," and charges me $335. He didn't ask me to shut off the electricity (how do you safely fix a switch without doing that?), refused to explain what exactly he did, gave me no receipt, and didn't leave any write-up. Then he had the nerve to ask me to pay him directly through his personal Venmo account. The whole thing felt incredibly shady. When I followed up with Benny, he basically said there was nothing he could do because Josue is independent and not actually part of his company -- so why refer him in the first place? This felt like a blatant cash grab, not professional service. Honestly, the business might as well be called "Quick and Easy CASH." Josue did minimal, unverified work, charged a ridiculous amount, and left me with no paperwork and no accountability. I do not recommend Benny's Appliance Repair or anyone they refer you to. Josue was responsive once upon a time. Then, this year, our oven was giving us problems. He diagnosed it for a fee, which was fine. He tried to fix it after having a part take over a month to arrive, which was also fine. We paid him for his labor and the part. All good. When his fix did not work, we called him to come back. He has since dodged our phone calls and texts, giving us a big middle finger. The irony of it all is if he had just said the oven was beyond repair, we would have been perfectly happy to buy a new one and let him install it. Instead, he chose to be non-responsive and shady, delaying our ability to use our oven for no reason other than him behaving unprofessionally. An absolute shame. read more

In the past we had a good experience with Josue for refrigerator, oven and dishwasher repair. But this time he really just screwed us over. We have been without an oven for well over 3 months. We have been understanding and patient. Multiple visits, countless empty promises about parts in transit that never seem to arrive, and $500 paid and we still have no oven. The last straw has been him just straight up ghosting us for the last 3 weeks. Phone goes straight to voicemail, mailbox is full and he does not answer texts. If I could rate this service at zero stars, I would. They are completely unreliable and don't stand behind their service. A KitchenAid oven in a house we rent out stopped working, and I called Quick & Easy appliance to diagnose it. Josue came to look at it and said that the oven needs a new logic control board. He further said that the board is not available as a spare part any longer, but he could send the old board to a refurbisher, which takes 10 business days to refurbish the board and that they guarantee the refurbished item for six months. I ask him would he advise to go with the refurbishment ($650) or simply buy a new oven, to which he advised the refurbishment and said that these ovens last much longer. The problem started when the board was sent to the refurbisher, somewhere in Colorado. Nothing happened in two weeks, and when I talked to Josue, he told me that there was a delay, but it is going to be refurbished the following week for sure. When nothing happened the following week, I told him that my tenants can not remain without the oven any longer, and if the board can not be delivered the following week for sure, I'm going to buy a new oven and dispute the charges as the agreed-upon time was clearly not met, which is a breach of contract. After a lot of pressure and daily texts to Josue, the board was finally delivered at the end of the following week and installed the next Monday, nearly five weeks after it was removed to be refurbished. After that, Josue actually wanted to charge me for an extra trip he had to make to the house, as when he disabled the oven circuit breaker instead of disconnecting it from the AC, he also accidentally disabled the cook-top leaving the tenants without any means to cook, and had to come back to make it work again. I told him that I'm not willing to pay extras, as it wasn't my fault that he accidentally disabled both the oven and the cooktp, and that if he keeps insisting I'll pay, but leave an appropriate feedback, upon which he backed off. His last words have been: "Oven will last sir!! Your all set." (I kept a meticulous record of all the text messages between him and me, including the contract terms, warranty, etc.) Three months later the oven broke again, with the very same symptoms as the first time. I've called Jose and he told me that the labor is only guaranteed for 30 days, and was clearly not interested to deal with this oven again. I reminded him that the board allegedly had a 6-month warranty from the refurbisher and told him that I'm going to buy a new oven but still would like to replace the defective board if it's indeed the problem with the refurbished unit and keep it as a spare. He promised to call the refurbisher and inquire about the warranty, and this was the last time I heard from him. I called and texted him multiple times since then, left a message on their answering machine, and sent them an e-mail. Still nobody called me back, and it became clear that they sold me a lemon, rather than a properly refurbished unit. I'm out of $650 and had to buy a new oven on top of this. So much for backing up their work and installing quality parts. This place only cares about charging you as much as they could, put things together hastily, so that the "repaired" appliance holds beyond the 30 days they guarantee, and then pretend that you never existed. I have just alerted the BBB about their shameful practice and I advise you to stay away from this repair shop as far as you can. read more

Made an appointment with them for this past Monday. Received a phone call over the weekend saying that we had inquired about their company when we already had an appt set with them. Seemed like a lot of confusion going on with them. Monday, they didn't come and rescheduled for Tuesday. Tuesday they never showed up nor called. We made the appointment almost a week ago and now have to start the process again with another company and our dishwasher is still leaking water all over the kitchen and making strange noises. I have never posted a review on Yelp before but I had to today. I had this company come to fix my gas stove oven for us because my oven wasn't heating up. They explained in detail exactly what they were doing and fixed my oven. Luckily the had the part I needed in their truck. While they were here I asked if they could check out my freezer which was leaking into my refrigerator. They fixed that too. I recommend this company to anyone who needs appliances fixed. I highly would not recommend this company . I found this company after a local google search for appliance repair companies around us . One of the technicians arrived to fix my approximately 14 month old dishwasher that was making a slight noise . After advising us that the part needing to be replaced was discountinued , the tech stripped out the screw to access the part and also bent the bottom kick plate after not properly securing it back . After doing some research , the part was readily available through Lowe's and in stock . Despite the poor service , I was still charged the $75 service fee and left was a bent kick plate , unable to access part due to tech striping out screw and wrong part information .
