I made an appointment to repair a vertical roller track tomorrow, Abbey called back and offered Shea come in 15 minutes instead. Fast service. Shea quoted me $400 for one section of vertical track plus labor, suggested I replace the 10 rollers per door at $350 x 2 doors, and let me know I didn't need to replace the springs. He told me he'd do it for $1100 credit card or $900 cash. I agreed, went to the ATM, and called Abbey. I told her I didn't trust Shea because he told me the rollers were "under tension" and I couldn't do them myself. She assured me she trusted him. He did the work, the track lined up well and the new rollers were okay, but not a dramatic difference. He suggested I replace the pulley on the garage door, but did not offer to do it. He did not take away any of the old parts, including the rollers. He left the old six foot section of track on the floor of the garage. He did not give me a receipt. I called for competing quotes later and found competing companies charge $400 for the same work One Stop charges $1100 credit card or $900 cash. If you use them, be sure to get quotes from competitors. And you can't assume One Stop Garage Doors are willing to take away the trash they generate. But the work is adequate and was done quickly. read more

Called them again for a callback on the job. Mike showed up the same day and repaired the issue which was actually my nieces fault... We did offer to pay but he would not accept and did it for free. I used 1 Stop back in October to replace my springs and cables and make some adjustments. I was charged more than I was quoted but the guy was nice and did good work so I didn't say anything. Six months later one of the springs broke so I called them to have it replaced. After giving me the run around for three days--they insisted that I never had my springs replaced, although it was on the receipt. The office manager clearly could read her own receipt or she was trying to get out of doing the right thing. The call could not have been more bizarre and she could not have been more rude. Terrible service! Was asked to wait for the technician from 12-3. As 3pm approached, we get a call from the technician saying he was trying to reach us and is delayed but wasn't able to get a call through to us That was probably made up as I was getting calls throughout the day and based on his tone it didn't seem like he wanted to come out to our location. He said it would take another hour to get to us. Ok fine. We wait for an hour and he still hasn't come. When I gave him a call he again said he wasn't able to get a call through us and said he was delayed and would not be able to get to us for another 1.5 hours. At that point I gave up. Throughout this time I was also calling his office during the office hours and no one picked up. I left a few voicemails and still haven't received a call back or apology days later. Crummy service! I was visiting a friend and parked in her garage and ended up not being able to reopen the door... I called one stop. at first they put us on hold for about 10 minutes but then once my call was answered the lady took down my information and sent a technician.it seemed like they were very busy! he came within the hour... my friend never had this happen to her so she wasn't sure what was wrong. the tech explained everything, wasn't pushy and gave her a fair price. it took him some time to complete the job but he got it to open and I was able to get on my way home. I heard a lot of scam stories so I am glad we treated fairly and honestly. read more

Okay so I have to update this review. I went with One Stop Garage Doors because they were the cheapest..I now know why. 1 1/2 years after install a spring broke they charged me $225 to repair. Now 4 years after purchase there is an error code with the opener so I called One Stop and they came and said I need a new motor. They tell me nothing is covered. I'm going to have to call a certified list master installer to sort out the issue with the opener. Based on phone conversation with Lift Master seems like the install was not done right that's why I'm having consistent issues. Penny wisE dollar foolish. Be careful with tHis company. read more

I really didn't know who to turn to for my garage door repair. I just searched the internet and came across 1 stop garage door company. They did a fantastic job from the scheduling at a time convenient for me, to the repairman Adi who was obviously highly trained and experienced. Stay away. we called 1 stop to install a new motor. They were sloppy, left parts all over the place and the motor broke within 24 hours. They came back and tightened the screw that they forgot to tighten the first time around. Two weeks later the screws loosened again and this time my spring snapped, thank god no one was hurt. They installed new springs at a significant cost. The garage door started making strange noises again. I called back and they promised me a manager would come out and inspect my job. Twelve calls later and no return call or manager. This is a shady organization. I would not be surprised if the postive reviews were all staged by friends and family. Paid over $200 to have them come and unlock my garage door, the whole job took 15 minutes. The mechanic was being rude and nasty. The icing on the cake was they damage my garage door, then wanted to get paid to fix it. One stop garage is a local company, we are in the neighborhood , I guess if you can't rip off your own who can you rip off. read more
