Almost immediately, the tint developed small bubbles from dust/dirt under the tint, so I brought my vehicle back on July 6 to have it redone under their lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, the second tint job also had bubbles and scratches in the tint film, showing the same lack of quality workmanship. On July 13, I returned to request a refund and have the tint removed, but I was told there was no manager on duty and no one could help me. I had to come back again on July 20, only to be told they would not issue a full refund. Instead, they offered me a $200 refund if I agreed to keep the defective tint. After paying around $530 for the upgraded carbon tint, I wasn't about to accept paying hundreds of dollars for a tint job that had already failed twice. With no reasonable resolution offered, I agreed to let them tint the windows a third time under the lifetime warranty. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, they simply handed me my keys and immediately locked the doors for the day. I didn't even have the opportunity to inspect the work before they closed. Once I was able to inspect it, I found additional scratches in the tint film, meaning the third attempt still wasn't done correctly. It even looks like lighter or different colored tint, which makes me believe they put the downgraded standard tint on. Since June 27, I've had to make four separate trips to this shop because they have repeatedly failed to provide a quality installation. A lifetime warranty means very little when the same defects keep happening and the solution is simply to keep redoing the same poor work. What disappoints me most isn't just the poor workmanship--it's how the situation was handled. After multiple failed installations, I expected the company to stand behind its work with a reasonable resolution. Instead, I was offered only a partial refund if I accepted a defective product, and after the third installation I wasn't even given the chance to inspect the work before the shop closed. I expected professional workmanship and customer service, especially after spending hundreds of dollars. Instead, I was left with repeated bubbling & scratches in the tint film, multiple wasted trips, a denied refund request, and a third tint job that still wasn't right. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Stereo1One.

I had some repairs done to my car the the day of getting the dreaded letter for renewal and not knowing that the computer has to drive for a while for systems to pass tests I was failed the next day and they were very nice to me with a failed test report with some educational materials for a return visit. A week later they were still very nice to me after wasting their time even though I didn't have my repairs done with them, weird coincidence and worlds colliding. I know these emissions pay very little but they were still very helpful to me with friendly service.

Told them I would just come get my car. They did the oil change anyways and charged me 30 bucks to inspect the car lol. Took it to a better reviewed and more reputable place nearby and they did the job for HALF the price shorewood auto quoted, the calipers did NOT need to be replaced, my battery was totally fine, and they finished the work the same day I brought it in. Take your car elsewhere. They either tried to aggressively upsell me or are employing incompetent techs.

They spent hours testing the alternator, battery, fuses, and ground wires before suggesting a replacement for the negative battery cable. I agreed, hoping for a simple fix. What followed was completely unbelievable. Right after they touched that negative wire, the car refused to start at all--the starter motor was dead. I never had a single starting issue before bringing it to them. Instead of taking responsibility, they refused to admit any fault and forced me to pay out of pocket for a new starter just to get my car off their lot. I paid simply to avoid a confrontation. But the nightmare didn't end there. As soon as I drove away, I noticed the HVAC blower fan was broken, stuck running at a single speed that couldn't be adjusted. I drove right back, only to be dismissed and told to "come back later." When I confronted them about taking responsibility, they offered the most ridiculous response: claiming that fixing one bad wire sent "proper current" that somehow destroyed my starter and blower motor! Fixing ONE bad wire ended up creating TWO major new problems right under their care, and honestly, I don't even know what else might be damaged in my car that I haven't discovered yet. When we went in person to figure out how this had happened Jeannie(?) was perhaps the rudest person I've dealt with in my lifetime. She yelled at us for asking for an apology and yelled that we were embarrassing her and Paul in front of the two customers in the lobby. She then threatened to pull the work done out of the car and refused to let us leave? We paid after feeling threatened. Paul was nice and tried to help. Jeannie was the only one embarrassing their company with her antics and immaturity. This was a good quality place for fair dependable work, but after this experience we will never be going back, and I couldn't recommend it to anyone else.
