This facility opens at 9 on Tuesdays. While waiting I drank water. DRINK WATER! It will make your body more hydrated and take less time to donate! The woman was very helpful. She took her time and very nice! We talked about previous high school instructors at VBHS for the HOSA program and how wonderful they were! She explained everything perfectly as she did it, and waited with me as I was donating (since it was my first time) . I got 2 pair of special socks, a snack, will learn my blood type, will learn if I have the COVID antibodies and helped someone today! DONATE!!

The entire staff over there are very professional, nice, and fast. There's about 4-5 phlebotomists I would highly recommend getting stuck by: 1. Juan 2. Yaddi 3. Milaycha 4. Ingrid 5. Sabrina (in that order) The ONLY thing I recommend they improve on is getting the updated machines that cuts donation time in half. they still use the older ones that take about 50-60 min. to donate. They also lifted their bruise ban, so now even if one arm has a bruise, you can still donate from the other arm. Before, even if 1 arm just had the slight yellow discoloration, they wouldn't let you donate until you were fully healed...
