We're SOO happy we chose Edgar to DJ our wedding!!…read more From the very beginning, he went above and beyond for us. Not only was he an excellent communicator during the planning process, but he even helped us secure a photo booth vendor. Every step of the way, he handled my VERY specific requests with patience, creativity, and zero judgment. On the wedding day, he truly facilitated the entire event from start to finish. He kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes while still bringing such fun, warm energy to every moment. Our ceremony music was flawless, transitions were seamless, and the dancing portion of the night was exactly what I envisioned (dancing is my FAVORITE part of weddings, so this was very important to me!). He absolutely nailed the announcements and kept the vibe consistent and elevated. We received compliments about how fun the dancing portion was, and Edgar played a huge part in that. He read the room perfectly and knew exactly how to keep the energy high without ever feeling forced. It was important for us to have diversity among our vendors, but also to have someone who intuitively understood the music preferences of my Filipino family. At the same time, Edgar's music knowledge spans everything, including the genres I love most, which made the night feel both culturally familiar and uniquely tailored to us. Professional, fun, attentive, and genuinely talented, Edgar helped make our wedding unforgettable and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for DJ services for ANY event!!! Truly best day of our life

She read the dance floor and the energy of our guests and kept things authentically fun and organic -- we still have guests commenting on how great our DJ was. It's not just limited to our event -- we actually first met Christie when she was DJ at a friend's wedding, and that dance floor was one of the best we've ever been on as well. Would 100% recommend her for your event!

She did a fantastic job mixing the wide variety of genres we gave her, including country, EDM, early 2000s hip hop, and Hawaiian reggae. She was able to read the room perfectly when transitioning between different vibes, ensuring the music flowed seamlessly for all of our guests. A particularly special experience was starting open dancing with 70s music, which brought our parents and their friends straight to the dance floor. They were so excited to hear their music and it gave them a chance to join in the fun early in the night! Beyond the music, Eun Neam was professional with the logistics, setting up speakers for both the outdoor cocktail hour and the indoor reception. She also offered uplighting options, even though we did not need them for our specific setup. We highly recommend her for any couple looking for a DJ who can balance a mix of music tastes and keep the dance floor full. We highly recommend DJ Neamatode / Heart of Gold DJs for any wedding or events!

Very professional, and dedicated to the craft! I will always recommend anyone looking for a DJ to go with DJ ICue. Thank you for a great party!!!

We were pretty nervous to hire someone that we didn't know... but so so glad we did! Ramon really helped keep us on track with the specific songs we needed for each part. He sent us samples and created a timeline which was super helpful because we were extremely disorganized just a week before the wedding. Seriously don't know how we would have managed without him! I also want to mention that he arrived early and it's a good thing he did because the outlet situation at the venue was pretty complex. Ramon was super nice about it-- he did his thing with the wiring like a boss! Not to mention he got the party BUMPIN and really had a way of reading the crowd to keep the vibes high. He was seriously such a perfect addition, everything was absolutely flawless on his end. I have to add that his prices are much more reasonable than other DJs we reached out to. If you're considering hiring Ramon DJ I-Cue for your next event, DO IT!!!

Or if you need to, go and get quotes from other DJs/teachers and you'll see that not only is his price competitive / at market rate, I would confidently bet that the value he brings is the best - here's why: * DJ Lamont has over 30 years of experience * DJ Lamont embraces ALL genres of music (if you're not ready to start lessons, at least drop by to marvel at his impressive record collection) * DJ Lamont is knowledgeable in most / ALL - platforms - vinyl, controllers, various softwares, you name it DJ Lamont truly is a guru. gu·ru /ooroo/ 1. a spiritual teacher, especially one who imparts initiation. 2. an influential teacher or popular expert. The best part: he is so humble and approachable - working with him feels safe, zero judgment, encouraging free self expression. DJ Lamont has a gift for enabling each individual's deeper connection to music, authentically making it feel as though you're creating living art together. Through this, he is well known in the community and is steadily building a DJ community for us all. Through this community: * Not only will you learn skills 1:1 at the studio, but * Learn from other DJs * Get opportunities to DJ publicly - at the studio and other gigs I'd been wanting to learn solely for the purpose of DJ'ing a set for my friends at Dolores for Pride, started with him December 2018, accomplished my goal June 2019, and he's plugged me into DJ'ing at the studio, for the LGBT center, at Sunday Streets - and they continue to offer me other gigs that have been consistently fun, and have intentionally gotten me to "break out of my shell." When you're starting out, it's one thing to DJ for yourself - at home, with headphones on. Through his encouragement and network, I've taken my skills to the next level by doing it for others. Important note: the studio has practically every type of equipment you might want to play with, but if you plan on doing more than one lesson, I highly recommend to purchase your own gear so you can practice on your own - that way, each subsequent lesson you can glean more and more insights and skills from the studio to keep evolving your artistry. Whether you want to be a professional DJ or pick this up as a hobby, I cannot think of a better environment than Fingersnaps to let your interests thrive. I've come out of this not only with a teacher, but a mentor and friend, a broader community, and a new way of investing in my own "self care" I've spent most of my life being very "Type A" - striving for perfection, fearful of messing up. For me, these aren't just music lessons, but life lessons - making space for being imperfect, unafraid, committed to self expression, adaptable when the output is not what you wanted to be, and overall more fun-loving and lighthearted. Working with DJ Lamont has taught me how to be playful, and thus more creative, which has directly increased my own self confidence - as a musician, as an artist, as a human. I am beyond grateful. If you're still thinking about it, just drop by the studio and get a feel for it!

So we continued and tried to enjoy our time. While taking pictures at some of the Photo Booth, some pictures might take up to 2 1/2 or three minutes to print out... One of the booths had a rope on it, but the green light was on, which indicated that you may still use the booth. Only my first time here I was thinking the rope was there because maybe someone was waiting for their pictures because the pitchers do take about 2-3 minutes to print out. And not knowing that it was out of service because there were no signs and the GREEN LIGHT was ON. we paid for our pictures and continue to navigate around to other booths to my surprise, a lady came out with a very rude attitude. Yelling at customers saying " WHO TOOK THE ROPE OFF OF HERE!" Her name was (Vionia from chile) she was so disgustingly rude to us that i finally said " hey im sorry i did that I wasn't sure I seen the green light on" she looked at us in disgust. At this point, we were just waiting for a picture to come out of another booth to get ready to exit because we did not feel welcomed. Viona came out and gave us a card to compensate for the pictures that did not come out of the booth. We appreciated that took the card and continue to try and take more pictures... SHE CAME BACK OUT LITERALLY TWO MINUTES LATER, GAZING AT US WITH HATRED IN HER EYES AS WE STOOD AND WAITED FOR OTHERS TO FINISH WITH THE BOOTH THAT WE WANTED TO GO IN SHE LOOKED AT US AND SAID " we are closing soon. You guys need to use that and take some pictures elsewhere" "we said I'm sorry, but we're waiting for our pictures to come out of this booth.." THE RUDENESS WAS SO OVERWHELMING TO WHERE MY SISTER SAID HEY, I'M NOT SURE WHY YOU ARE TREATING US LIKE THIS, BUT WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. WE APOLOGIZE FOR TAKING THE ROPE OFF THE BOOTH. IT WAS AN HONEST MISTAKE. WE DID NOT KNOW IT'S OUR FIRST TIME HERE." "She continued to raise her voice and say well you guys are getting something for free because you took the rope off the booth" To where I replied, you can have the card back we can pay with money. We are not trying to get anything for free. SHE THEN !! SNATCHES THE CARD BACK AND WALKS AWAY. The manager comes around and tries to resolve the situation, but at this point, I feel very disrespected and honestly somewhat afraid to go back. I couldn't even enjoy time with my sister for her special day. She completely took our joy away that day. It was a horrible way to end our night. I hope they get friendly or people in that place because it is a bit confusing and with a whole bunch of others trying to take pictures at the same booth it can get a bit overwhelming, but I really do feel friendly or staff would be a great solution.

By the time I got there, it was a Saturday evening and there was a decent line formed outside. The wait wasn't too bad, I think I waited around 15 minutes. The inside is a bit small, so it can feel a bit cramped with the amount of people that are there. There are around 5 photobooths in the main room and another 2-3 in the back, so plenty of options for different backgrounds and styles which is nice that they have that variety. Each strip was priced around $7, so it can definitely add up. One of the photobooths I used didn't print out my photos, so the staff were kind enough to allow me another attempt free of charge. They also have the option of making your photos into a cute little key chain. If you're looking for a cute date activity or fun hangout with friends, I think this is a great experience! You get to see old photobooths and keep a physical memory of the experience.
