Compared to other reviews our service was actually really good. The waitress was super nice and helpful, even recommended getting the shrimp a different way because it's really raw. I really love the food here especially los camarones called cucaracha. The staff are very friendly and kind. The only plate i do not like and will not recommend is the camarones a la diabla, its supposed to be spicy but taste like ketchup, other than that everything else is delicious read more

Llamé ese mismo día y les dije lo sucedido y ya van dos 2 días que dijieron que me iban a llamar para darme una respuesta porque según no regresan el dinero. Acabo de hablar y la doña que contestó me dijo que ella no sabe cuando llega la manager y no me sabe decir nada. Porque son así? The food here is somewhat decent, but that little bit of decency got overpowered by the terrible service. We complained about 1 dish out of the 5 we ordered. The shrimp was too raw to eat. We tried to swap it for something else and they made the BIGGEST deal about it! We had to wait for a manager to come look at the dish and talk to us and even she was arguing with us about it... saying that's just their style and we should've said something earlier n blah blah blah. Basically, trying to school us. The point is that your paying customer didnt like it. Period. Thats all that should matter. Sorry that it took us 5 minutes to realize it was inedible, instead of 5 seconds. We had but 1 piece of it and tried to convince ourselves that it was OK but it just wasn't. Then the "manager" had to run it back to get approval from who knows who? Eventually she came back saying they'd make an "exception" after trying so hard not to satisfy us and she was STILL arguing and trying to school us! This was after them delaying our shrimp cocktail for 25 minutes. Never in my life have I experienced such a thing... to request to switch an unsatisfactory meal and have to go through 3 levels of authority to satisfy the customer after arguing for 5 minutes, and when we've already been waiting long is RIDICULOUS. That should be the cost of doing business! You expect me to pay $25 for a meal I can't eat?! This is not even a fancy restaurant by any means. It's a casual sit-in, the food is overpriced, and they don't even clean out the poop from the shrimp for them to be this snobby. DO BETTER. read more

I'm being generous with a star. The Jamaica tasted like powder and was super sweet. El agua de limón was all sugar and barely had the taste of lemons. I ordered the tostada mixta, and I have NEVER seen seafood served like this. There was no lemon, pico de gallo, or any type of sauce. It was dry seafood and the imitation crab was chóped instead of shredded. I ordered a side of rice and beans for my baby and the rice was so mushy, the beans were so watery and over salted. We ordered an appetizer of empanadas de camaron and they were NASTY! They were so thick, that the masa didn't fully cook from the inside. The shrimp tasted like they weren't even cleaned or seasoned. We only ordered 2 tostadas, the empanadas, a fish plate along with the beans, rice and three drinks, but for some reason our bill was $100. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! A bit of a hole in the wall but my fathers favorite place for shrimp enchiladas i tried the fried fish it was ok. Chip and salsa were good service is good. Went back a few more times. I love eating seafood any day of the week. I have been to this restaurant but the location in Las Vegas. If was hesitant to make my way into this restaurant since I saw poor reviews regarding their customer service. I decided to give this location a chance since I was nearby the area. I ordered a fish ceviche tostada and a michelada. They were both good and tasteful. Our waitress was very nice and continuously asked us if we were doing okay. Horchata was so sweet I couldn't drink it . We got some empanadas they were delicious! We also ordered fajitas they were wet on oil it was even dripping & the amount was so poor . Doesn't look very impressive as you drive up and it's super hidden but enjoyed every single bite and the service was great! The poca madre had nice balance, the sauce in the in the camarones cucaracha and molcajete was so good we took the left over bits of sauce to make into chilaquiles in the morning.
