I am writing a 5 star review, because the whole staff were amazing! Me and my family had a nice experience. My young child got to interact with the live lobsters and everyone went above and beyond. The ambiance was calm on a Saturday as well as clean. I didn't have high expectations for a chain restaurant, but I enjoyed my salmon plate. Unfortunately, we have had much better experiences here in VV. The bartenders and management have recognized us and know us, we have visited more than enough times and tipped generously, and I would like to think we have never been an inconvenience at the bar. We were blatantly ignored this past visit. You want to know how our order was taken? It was us yelling across the bar multiple times because the other two bartenders were busy and one was filing in, but couldn't be bothered to come close to us and speak to us to get our order. It turns out we hadn't even had a tab started for the drinks. We had to tell them what our drinks were.... Steak was gross and full of gristle, asparagus overcooked and over seasoned (might as well have been ground up with salt) and my salmon had multiple bones. If anyone was around to even tell a complaint, we would have. Took 10 minutes to even get someone to see or notice we had to pay our tab. So disappointing from our usual service we have had here. While customers that came in after us were served promptly. The waitress has her fingers right next to my food pointing at it. I came here for the second time in years and I must say I was not impressed. I did enjoy my dragon shrimp appetizer but that was all. The service was not great and it took awhile to get refills on our drinks. Our waitress literally vanished didn't see her for 30mins or so. Then finally she reappeared with our food which was not great. It was Mother's Day and so we got the feast for my mother in law and it had crab legs and she said it barely had any meat. We ordered off the lunch menu, and those prices were fine, but if you're ordering off the regular menu, the prices have gone up a lot; a family of four could easily spend quite a bit. I had the lobster bisque and clam chowder with a salad; both soups were average and didn't have much flavor. My wife had the popcorn shrimp, which was also pretty bland compared to other places. Service was a bit slow, and the timing felt off. I had almost finished my salad before the soup arrived. Nothing terrible, just not very smooth. The atmosphere when we walked in didn't feel very welcoming either. Overall, it wasn't a bad visit, just nothing memorable. Poor management and poor service. My family tried to eat at red lobster for the first time after my sons graduation and the host at the front tell us there will be late seating when we got there at 11am the time they open and there was other families arriving at opening as well cause of course it's graduations for many schools. The excuse was that they didn't anticipate this many people so they only had 1 server. They didn't seat us at all after 45 minutes of waiting and only 2 families sat we decided we didn't wanna wait. Popped in for an early dinner on our way to Vegas-- and man, ya'll need to meet this server Jeseda. He gave the best service of 2025 for us. There's this warmth and sense of home he carries in the way he speaks with each guest. I was truly inspired by the way he carried himself, it was beautiful to witness and be a part of. I went with their snow crab Tuesday special and it was quite messy and absolutely delicious. My partner ordered a bunch of sides and enjoyed himself-- I've gone to so many Red Lobsters tho, the consistency is almost always there-- but the service, man. Thank you Jeseda. You hear "Red Lobster" and you think "Amazing Seafood"! Our latest visit here, this was not the case. The hostess was great! The waitress was awesome! Our waitress was so patient with the kids and very helpful with the menu. She was also able to help with my drink when we thought there was something in it. They brought a new glass and had the manager make the drink. It was a significant difference in taste between them... the managers drink was much better. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't what I would expect from Red Lobster. Usually I can't get enough of their rolls but these were dry. The lobster dip was better than my meal which was disappointing. It's located off the 15 freeway in Victorville and the sign can be seen as you get close. The place is clean and welcoming. We were greeted and seated quickly , our drink order was taken and we were given time to look over the menu. Our order was taken and within 15 mins our food was delivered. The boil arrived in a bag and after being shaken it was placed on a plate to keep warm- the food was fresh and flavorful. It was a very good Boil! The lobster and shrimp linguine was creamy and the seafood was cooked perfectly not mushy like some I've had. The meal was satisfying and since the reopen it has a new menu. I would like to have the chance to get a classic like the captains platter with the grilled seafood and fresh vegetables but this was a good choice. Went in Saturday night and we were greeted and sat immediately. Our waiter whose name I didn't catch, but he had an awesome mustache, was beyond incredible. He was super attentive and friendly. Well y'all get ready for a great story... My husband and I arrived at Red Lobster (our favorite local restaurant) on 11/8/25 just right before 4pm. Our weekly routine is drinks and dinner (Just ask Chilis in Barstow). We sit and order a shot of patron each, from our AMAZING SERVER, SANDRA!. We then ordered another shot along with our appetizer popcorn shrimp (breaded). Once appetizers come out, we then proceed to munch on the popcorn shrimp (breaded) and the cheddar biscuits and we order another shot while doing so. Sandra comes back later and we attempt to both order the seafood boil priced at $54.99 each.. $109 total in just in our meals alone. We also asked for 1 more shot each. At which point we are surprised and advised by OUR AMAZING SERVER SANDRA, that her wonderful store manager, AMBER, has instructed her to not serve us anymore alcohol... nothing at all! Mind you, We are hanging out, talking and not being loud, crazy or obnoxious! Not to sound like alcoholics or to brag, but we can drink quite a bit and hold our own... not to mention, we had a DD who we dropped off at Olive Garden with their date, as we wanted Red Lobster because we love it, and they had planned to walk to red lobster after they ate and wait for us to drive all of us home safely. Never ever have we been "cut off " especially without even being drunk... we ate breakfast that morning, been snacking all day, ate breaded popcorn shrimp and bread from the restaurant. What blows my mind is that we specifically ordered "a shot" of Patron each, then come to find out from Sandra that AMBER said "we can't serve you anymore because we already served you DOUBLE SHOTS of patron". At $16.99 each!!! Like wtf!!! We ordered A SHOT!!! So they fraudulently charged and served us double shots without our knowledge or consent and then stop serving when "they" seem necessary! That's wild! We then asked to cash out our bill, which was already $136.39, because we have never ever been treated like this before! We were still prepared to add on another $196.95 for 2 seafood boils, 2 shots and 2 cheesecakes... making our total for the night $333.34 plus another $140 tip for our server, AWESOME SANDRA! Not to mention by the time we ate and talked and just hung out we would've been good to drive, even if we were driving! The manger, AMBER, needs retraining and maybe a course of who to serve and who to cut off!! As I mentioned above, Never ever have we been cut off in our life!! Needless to say, AMBER fucked up, missed out on our money and service, indefinitely and she also fucked up and missed out on Sandra's tip (even tho we still gave her a $60 tip, she would've got $140) Just be vigilant and careful when coming to this restaurant. They will serve and charge you double for drinks you ordered as "single" then use that as an excuse to cut you off because they are "drunk experts".... Ridiculous service I've ever seen in my life. We came to Red Lobster in Victorville because hubby has been craving lobster and they did not disappoint. We only had to wait a few minutes to be seated because the waitress that seats the guest was explaining the menu options to the big group that she was seating. We had our choice of tables. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. We were able to have a great conversation with friends without having to yell across the table at each other. Our waitress was helpful and accommodating. Our lobster feast was good. Ordered a side of crab legs to go with it. One of my friends ordered the shrimp feast. She did not like the Alfredo sauce. She said that it tasted bland. Don't get me started on the fries.. how can you screw up fries? They tasted like it was sprinkled with an ole bay flavored salt. En route from Southern California to North Las Vegas we stopped here for dinner again. Our server rushed us at first three times to order, but we slowed things down and ordered food in stages, so all dishes would not come out at once. I began with an appetizer of cheesy Signature Seafood Mushrooms that was a smaller portion than served in the past, and the mushrooms themselves appeared to be more diminutive in size than in previous renditions. But the starter was still good. Even better I thought were Crabby Cheese Fries, a nice combination of deep-fried spuds and crab. Meanwhile, Diane spooned a Bowl of Clam Chowder that was a little watery, served with requested Oyster Crackers. I then enjoyed complimentary Cheddar Bay Biscuits and a fairly large Caesar Salad. As in the past, all of these items reached our booth soon after they were ordered. For mains, Diane chose and liked a Lobster Lover's Duo of a Rock Lobster Tail and a Maine Lobster Tail paired with a Loaded Baked Potato and a Buttered Baked Potato, while I ordered a well-cooked Simply Roasted Grouper that came with a good base of Citrus Rice and a Vegetable Medley that included squash. For me, it was a nice change up from rich seafood. Both Lobster Tails tasted good, but to our surprise we both preferred the Rock Lobster Tail. As usual, all food was quite tasty. Wow, just wow! In all the best ways, wow! I have been to several Red Lobsters across the country. Today's experience literally brought tears of joy to my face. It was about 5/5:30pm on a Sunday. The lobby was busy with a large party. We were a party of 2. While the staff put tables together for the larger group, we got seated by Louis who made quite a lovely conversation with me in the short period of time it took to get to our table. He even made a point to ask if we were here to celebrate anything (to which I responded yes, we are celebrating a much needed good day - * important for later *). Chris, our server, wasted no time introducing himself, took our order accurately, and made great recommendations. He kept our drinks filled throughout the meal and made sure we didn't run out of the biscuits we were excited about. At the end, he asked if we wanted dessert, got us to-go containers and a let us rest at the table for a bit after we were finished. Here is the part that just moved me so much to the point of tears, literally bawling to complete strangers in the middle of a busy restaurant while I explain the purest moment I have seen in a while. Mind you, I was minding my own business, but happened to look up at just the right time, and it all happened in about 2 seconds: There were 2 gals enjoying their dinner diagnal from our booth. I add this in the most respectful way possible, one of the lovely ladies displayed what I can only assume is a greater need for assistance than average. I got to witness the most purest joy on her face as Amber, the regional manager- who I thought at the time to be a server, brought her a printed certificate of bravery for trying something new. The customer appeared to be verbal to a degree, but in this moment, no words were needed. No one in this moment could possibly have had trouble understanding the pride, validation, and happiness she was feeling in that moment. The squeal of innocent and unrestricted joy, the claps, and getting her picture taken, then also receiving a hand written note from her actual server Apryl was unmistakably rewarding. I felt moved enough to let Aaron know how much of a gem Amber is. That is when I was told that they have come a few times and had been nervous about touching the lobsters. Nick informed me that I told the manager how well the regional manager had done, which made me smile. Amber and Aaron, you have a great crew at this location. Leaving a review about all the staff we encountered today felt right, so here I am typing a small novel. The past few weeks and even months have been rough and this just restored my faith in humanity. There is still good out here and the smallest acts of kindness make a huge impact! read more

Have you seen Red Lobster's commercial advertising their lobster fest? Well, that's what led us to pay a visit at red lobster in the high desert, to try the Lobster Lovers Duo that's being promoted! It features lobster tails and grits. While the grits aren't as tasty as the ones I've had in NOLA, it was still pleasant to eat. The meal is large enough, that even though two of us shared, we still had some leftovers to eat the next day. I thought it tasted better the next day too. I'm always fan of the cheddar biscuits which you can have an unlimited number of. Along with the main meal, we had dessert; the chocolate wave. Very rich in flavor. If you love chocolate on chocolate, I recommend. Our server, Denise, is one of the main reasons for the score. She was friendly and professional, regularly checking-in on us to make sure if we needed anything or how our meal was going. We inquired about an adjustment for the meal we ordered and she was transparent about asking the chef. We appreciate the effort made on our behalf. Didn't get seated until......... 3pm. 80 mins, double the original time. 10 mins later the waitress came but to get us drinks. Red lobster is back, baby! The crab boil was out of this world delicious and so flavorful. I got very spicy with a mix of their Cajun butter. Service was really good. Cheddar biscuits are delicious as always. And it actually had a decent amount of people in the restaurant I went around 3:30 PM. Definitely will be returning. We were celebrating a birthday today, and decided to splurge and go to Red Lobster in Victorville. We got there right when it opened, so it was quiet and we got seated right away. The Hostess was so friendly and helpful, answering questions we had, and showing us the specials, never losing her smile. Our order was taken by our server, then repeated back to us to be sure that everything ordered was understood. Drinks (iced tea)were brought immediately, and were refilled throughout our meal. Our appetizer was brought to us BEFORE our meal, which was so refreshing, since lately, at other establishments,our experience has been that the appetizer is brought at the same time as the meal (what's the point of getting an appetizer if your main course is already at the table?). Everything was cooked to perfection, and while the waitress was assuring that our needs were met (more tea, extra rolls) we were left to enjoy our meal and conversation at our leisure! By the way, the restaurant did get busy, and we were never rushed to leave. At the end of you lunch, we were presented with a sundae to share, since they heard that we were celebrating a birthday. And by the way, the smile that the hostess had....Our waitress had the same amazing, genuine smile! They truly seemed happy that we were there, and they enjoyed their jobs. We came in for dinner and overall had a pretty good experience. Our server, Nate, was super nice and friendly -- they really made sure we were taken care of and even offered us dessert at the end, which we appreciated. However, when we said yes and ordered it, we could hear someone in the kitchen yell, "C'mon, we wanna go home!" and then there was a lot of laughter. It made things feel a little awkward, like we were inconveniencing the staff by ordering something that was on the menu. I get that everyone wants to get off work on time, but it did make the end of our meal feel a bit uncomfortable. This was my first time ever going to red lobster with my family after giving birth to our third child. I had really high expectations after seeing a lot advertisements, commercials and hearing about it from other friends and family. It didn't disappoint. I'll just say that. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very sweet hostess, it's a very warm and cozy place. Immediately we regretted by our server who was amazingly fast with refills, bringing us our appetizers, making great recommendations. Then, when the moment came, the food came to the table. He gave helpful advice on what to eat with what and how to eat what and it was delicious , so bomb!!!!! I had to create your own platter with the main lobster, grilled salmon, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, baked potato, and broccoli. It was so amazingly delicious that I still had a good amount of leftovers and I also scored by taking home some delicious chocolate cake as my dessert. Our server Matthew..... was incredible!
