A sudden drop in blood sugar brought me in and I was craving fish tacos anyways. They have Ensenada Style seafood tacos here. I ordered two fish, one grilled shrimp taco and one potato taco. The food came out quickly and was plated beautifully with both lemon and lime wedges. I was asked if I would like a mild, medium, or hot salsa. I chose the medium one but it had only just a little hint of a kick. It was a good tasting accompaniment for the seafood. The beer batter was crispy on the fish. There is plenty of shredded cabbage and a good crema on the tacos. Fish was very fresh and clean tasting. The grilled shrimp was seasoned well but were small and a bit dry. I would probably try the beer battered shrimp next time. Potato taco was crunchy and the filling tasted good. Altogether, the food was very delicious and left me feeling light. Service was very welcoming and friendly. Bar and dining areas were inviting and clean. One of my favorite songs, The Smiths' "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" was playing on the stereo so that was very nice while dining. We also ordered the chips and salsa. The fish and shrimp tacos came with limes and sides of different house made salsas which were really good. Wow! I seriously can't believe we have seafood place like This in Victorville. The food was so delicious and their drinks looked amazing too even though I didn't get to try them. I had the surf & turf taco + beer battered shrimp taco. Both so good. We also had the coconut shrimp appetizer which was to die for. The churros were the perfect desert after the amazing seafood in the desert. Only thing I would change about this place was the layout. It was a little crammed but I also went on a Friday during lunchtime so it was packed. Lastly, I would give service a 3 star rating. Servers were very slow and we never got a refill on our waters. The service was outstanding. Now the hard part is that I usually have a great experience after eating but something went wrong last night. I can't figure out if the food or drink I had made my stomach upset. I had the salmon plate, rice and vegetables and a shrimp taco with raspberry tea. My wife had a margarita which she didn't like so I finished it off for her. So 5 hours later I start getting pains in my chest and stomach. Took Pepto and drank warm water all night. It's located in a shopping mall in Victorville, we passed it as we were heading home from Vegas. It is colorful, clean, and welcoming. The service was friendly and quick, they work as a team so they all came around to give refills or just to check on us. Didn't know what to expect, so we ordered the taco platter. The tacos were covered with cabbage, pico salsa, crema and cheese. The fish was crispy and tender inside, it was good. The shrimp was crispy, tender and yummy!!!! Off the 15 fwy is this fish taco place. Typical strip mall exterior, but the inside feels more lively with music, south of the border decoration, and people dining in. I had the Ensenada style & blackened fish plate with cilantro rice & pinto beans. I personally love the Ensenada style the best but everything was hot and flavorful. And their drinks!! We ordered two kids meals that included three chicken tenders, fries, and a drink. My husband and I split the ribeye and shrimp plate which includes sauteed squash, butter rice, 4 grilled shrimps and a huge ribeye steak. My husband and I have been driving past this taco place on our way to Las Vegas for years. We've always wanted to stop, but there isn't a name of the restaurant. It just says "FISH TACOS." We had to attend a funeral in Apple Valley and wanted to stop for a bite to eat first. I yelped tacos and found this restaurant. We stopped in just after they opened at 10:30 a.m. We were the second customers in the restaurant. The waitress took our order, but we waited a very long time before our food was brought to our table. Other customers who came in after us received their food before us. It must have been around 30 minutes before we finally got our food. We did receive our chips and guacamole before the food. The guacamole was delicious. The food finally came. We shared a two taco combination plate, which came with white rice and pinto beans. We got one fish taco and one steak taco. Both were delicious, and they are very generous with their fish and steak. Their prices are a bit high in my opinion. It was $13.99 for a one taco plate. Yet, one taco is $4.85. So, over $9 for rice and beans seems excessive. The two tacos plate was $16.99 so we shared it and couldn't finish all of the rice and beans. I was a little surprised that they charge $2.99 for chips and salsa, which are usually complimentary. I'd give five stars for the food, but the service was not very good so that's why I'm only giving four stars. read more
