    Margarita

The service was outstanding. Now the hard part is that I usually have a great experience after eating but something went wrong last night. I can't figure out if the food or drink I had made my stomach upset. I had the salmon plate, rice and vegetables and a shrimp taco with raspberry tea. My wife had a margarita which she didn't like so I finished it off for her. So 5 hours later I start getting pains in my chest and stomach. Took Pepto and drank warm water all night. I'm better today but still wondering what it was. The margarita really didn't taste right. Humm?

It's located in a shopping mall in Victorville, we passed it as we were heading home from Vegas. It is colorful, clean, and welcoming. The service was friendly and quick, they work as a team so they all came around to give refills or just to check on us. Didn't know what to expect, so we ordered the taco platter. The tacos were covered with cabbage, pico salsa, crema and cheese. The fish was crispy and tender inside, it was good. The shrimp was crispy, tender and yummy!!!! The rice was fluffy, soft and cooked to perfection! The beans were mashed and mixed with cheese it make them tasty. This place was a wonderful find and I will definitely go again.

We love the Taco Tuesday deal here. Today, we came on a Friday and tried other food items but I think we'll stick to Taco Tuesday. Staff was great and place was clean.

Off the 15 fwy is this fish taco place. Typical strip mall exterior, but the inside feels more lively with music, south of the border decoration, and people dining in. There's a bar to the left that has extensive specialty cocktails. The server was nice. She recommended the two fish tacos plate with two sides. The order came fast. I ate it all up. The taco flavor is top notch. The side salad and veggies were good, too. Too bad there's no ocean views.

Brenda and another wonderful lady took my order and also did the recommendations. I wanted to try the surf and turf. But with today being Good Friday I was not eating steak. So these ladies suggested the surf and turf with extra shrimp no meat, that works for me . I also ordered the blackened fish taco. Tacos were really tasty. Churros were kinda of over cooked IMO a little too hard for my liking.

Bacon wrapped shrimp covered with sauce and a side of marmalade and leafy greens.

I was back again this Friday. I'm addicted to this place. The Cadillac margaritas, guacamole and chips were great. Their tacos were delicious too. I probably will be there next Friday with friends again.

At first we thought this was like an order at the front and take a seat type of restaurant. We were told we could take a seat and a server would attend us shortly. We ordered two kids meals that included three chicken tenders, fries, and a drink. My husband and I split the ribeye and shrimp plate which includes sauteed squash, butter rice, 4 grilled shrimps and a huge ribeye steak. Everything was packed with flavor and it really complimented each other. My husband ordered mexican candy shots and loved them. The atmosphere was nice with really fun music. The server was great. She was in a good mood and very attentive to her tables. I really loved everything and I can't wait to come back.

Stopped at Captains Fish Tacos for lunch on the way to Vegas and we're so glad we did. The fish tacos, shrimp tacos & steak tacos were all delicious! Our server, Brenda, was friendly, the service was fast and the food presentation was appetizing. We would highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!

We ordered the following: fish taco, shrimp taco, octopus taco, potato taco, corn, surf and turf fries, a beer and a sangria. Let's start with the not so great, the fish and shrimp taco were okay, they looked really good but after tasting it, it needs more flavor other than the beer batter. The octopus taco was also lacking some sort of seasoning and the potato taco was underwhelming. Now the corn was pretty good, I would order it again. The surf and turf fries were amazinggg and perfectly crispy! I wish they had a really spicy red salsa to go with them but other than that they were great! The sangria was also very good! Our server was very friendly and took good care of us.

Love this place! Ordered a very berry mojito & Mango Chilango drink for drinks and pur bartender Eli did NOT disappoint! For food got an esquite, guacamole & bacon shrimp (10 out of 10 recommend). Place is nice and clean, modern with touch of Hispanic vibe. Customer service is top notch and food doesn't disappoint. Will definitely come back.

Drove past here all the time but first timer as of today Really good portions, and pretty tasty. Price isn't bad at all. Highly recommend the 2 taco plate deal. Ensenada Fish Tacos were flakey and plentiful. Cilantro rice and pinto beans were a good combo with the tacos. Service was good at the bar, I would expect it to be the same at a table. Good music and tvs are at the bar.

    1/2 dozen oysters... huge! $16

The service was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. I ordered the salmon with pesto sauce, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy, and absolutely delicious. It came with a fresh green salad topped with sunflower seeds, flavorful beans, and fresh guacamole. Every part of the meal was excellent. My son loved his burrito, and everyone at our table was happy with what they ordered. We finished with the flan, which was one of the best I've had--smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. Even the coffee was served in a beautiful traditional Mexican ceramic cup, which made the experience feel even more special. You can truly feel the love and care that goes into both the food and the hospitality here. If you're driving between Orange County and Las Vegas, this restaurant is absolutely worth the stop. We came here about 3 years ago for my son's birthday, and he insisted on coming back here again for this year's birthday. The waiter was nice and attentive, he didn't have any issues waiting when we needed more time to decide on our order, and he was quick to correct an issue when our food arrived. We never ran out of our drinks, which is a feat in itself with how fast the kids drain theirs! The best part for me was when I showed the waiter a picture of a drink I ordered 3 years ago and the bartender was able to replicate it and tell me what it was so I could order it again. It wasn't on their menu anymore, so it was impressive that he was able to identify it from a picture. Bring back the White wine Sangria, it's delicious! Oh, I also have to mention that when they brought the ice cream out to sing happy birthday, they made sure to include an ice cream for my 5 year old so that she didn't feel left out. I love that they took her into consideration.

The item was actually supposed to be chicken suizas, but we received chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Ironically, my mom liked this first order more than the second one. The shrimp in the shrimp fajitas was seasoned very well and I liked that it was visibly seared/grilled. My mom enjoyed her chicken enchiladas. 2nd order: Shrimp fajitas, but I received fajitas with chicken, shrimp and steak. I made an attempt to eat the steak but it was dry. We ordered chicken suizas and received the actual chicken suizas, which did not have shredded chicken but blocks of chicken. My mom hated this dish and said it made her sick unfortunately. The manager was gracious in correcting the mistakes and gave us some delicious churros, so that helped. The flour tortillas seemed handmade, they were very fluffy. The salsa and chips were good. I enjoyed my fajitas but sadly my mom hated the suizas.

Both drinks had super chunky ice pieces in it to the point I couldn't even drink mines with a straw. I tried stirring and still couldn't drink it so I sent it back and asked it to be remade. The second drink was no better. Neither of us finished our drinks. The chips and salsa that they serve was also a terrible start. The chips were extremely hard as if they refried leftover chips or they had been sitting for a while. The salsa was super runny like they mixed it with water and the bean dip tasted like it was made with old oil. We took a couple bites and ended up pushing both the drinks, chips, beans & salsa aside while we waited for our entrees. My husband got the whole fish and I ordered the 3 taco plate. 2 al pastors and 1 carne asada. Both plates came with rice and beans. I bit into the al pastor taco and immediately spit out chunks of fat. The meat I did taste tasted very porky with no seasonings. Like very low quality pork. It was gross and inedible. The carne asada taco was ok. I ate that and a little rice. The beans tasted the same as the dip we had earlier so I didn't eat it. My husband said his fish was fried well but had ZERO seasoning. Even a bunch of limes didn't help much. It seems like they are trying to stretch their dollars by serving poor ingredients, skipping seasonings or serving leftovers. A great way to close shop soon! The icing on the cake was when we got the bill and they charged us $2 extra for blended drinks when the damn drinks were barely blended! Unbelievable! We paid and left, never to return again. I was gonna give one star but their saving grace was the server. She was soo nice and kept apologizing for the drinks and food as if it was her fault. Of course it wasn't. In the end $90 before tip down the drain for the worst Mexican food we've ever had!
