When he came by my place, Jacob was kind and professional. He identified the problem quickly and made a plan to replace the disposal. I also had him look at the seal on another sink which was not what I called him out for. He did so willingly and was able to complete the repair. He charged an extremely reasonable price for both jobs and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. It has been a few weeks and the sink and disposal are better than ever. When we called Apex expecting them to rectify the issue, we were told they would only come back out if we paid a brand-new service charge. Paying double the market rate for incomplete work is bad enough, but refusing to make it right is unacceptable. After this experience, I dug deeper on third-party sites like Yelp and the BBB and found a pattern of complaints matching ours (inflated prices, messy work, and refusal to fix issues without new fees), which makes me question how genuine their Google rating really is.
