Order time and who helped us.

I ordered a meal for myself and it took 6 minutes from placing my order to receiving my meal. A few moments later my wife decides she also wants to eat here instead of at sandwich shop next door. We order our food at 3:10 pm. We're were helped by Lawrence. Fast forward to 3:31pm and our number still has not been called. Multiple other numbers were called including three people who walking in long after us. My wife went up there to see what the issue was and the Manager (didn't get his name) was too busy on the phone. They never gave an explanation as to why it was taking to long nor an explanation to whether or not, it was being made. They simply gave us a refund like we were bothering them for asking about our food. Also it wasn't even busy like some ONOs I've gone to. 6 minutes from order to receive for mine #185 and never received for order #187. But #190-191-192 etc got theirs fairly quickly. Management = Zero Stars but he gets 10/10 on being a phone jockey (I'm thinking that's his real job and managing ONO is side work) Lawrence = 1 star..... pretty sure this is a reflection of his management team. Overall = throw this location in the trash and start over.

Fast friendly service. Come hungry! Macaroni salad was excellent. Sticky rice- perfect! Prices are reasonable.

It was busy. The menu was more extensive than I expected & we ordered couple Hawaiian sodas, which I liked to drink when I lived on Oahu. I will agree that portions for some (bbq chicken) were generous as was the katsu part of my kalua pork + katsu combo. I liked the outdoor seating. The lines to order were kind of odd, hard to tell where the lines were/are for. The price was ok $32 + tax. My major complaint - even compared to other plate lunch places not in Hawaii, was a lack of seasoning (salt) in the sauces/ breading on katsu/pork all lacked the flavor they should have - that cost 1 star. I also couldn't give another star because the meat in the deep fried katsu was just sub standard - fatty/grisly. I wanted to love the place, but it was just okay.

Best food I've ever had, never misses. Every time I come here I and order the chicken teriyaki plate I feel like I'm in heaven on earth 10/10 would recommend

Pick 2 Aloha Plate - BBQ beef and BBQ chicken

Wow this place was awesome. What to get: the pick 2 entree, comes with a huge portion of meat, white rice, and salad all for ~$12. What a deal! Highly recommend the BBQ beef, BBQ chicken, and chicken terikayi. The food was prepared fast and tasted freshly made. Place was crowded and I can see why. Deducting one star because the katsu chicken we ordered was really undercooked and pink and inedible. They replaced it though, so good customer service which is great to see. Recommend this spot!

The Pit Master was outside when we walked up to get a look from outside the fenced area. He invited us in for a close up look. All were loaded with briskets, pork shoulders and turkey breasts. The smells and visual was phenomenal. As you approach the front door, there are menu's written in black sharpie on peach paper. Another sign of a great experience in store. As you walk through the front door, the sites, sounds and smells kick the olfactory senses into overdrive. Family style seating of long tables with benches exemplified the family atmosphere. I can tell you that the pictures of the whole hog sandwich, the side of Mac/cheese and the boat of pickles, onions and jalapeños don't do it justice. The flavors were seriously the best bbq I have experienced in all my years. I've eaten bbq in Texas, New Orleans, Oklahoma, Kansas City etc as well as my own and this by far the best I've enjoyed. And in my opinion, the best in the Arizona Valley. DEFINITELY WILL BE A RETURN CUSTOMER!

The concept is simple: order your meat by the pound, pick your sides, grab a dessert, and snag a beer, specialty soda, or fountain drink on your way to the register. The dining room is basically a redneck cafeteria, and I mean that as a compliment. Long community tables, no table service, and everything is self-serve. Honestly, I prefer it that way. I can grab as much white bread as I want, refill my own drink, never have to flag someone down for napkins, and I've had some great conversations with other patrons. The brisket is consistently good, and I always order it moist. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is another favorite, but the baked beans deserve their own mention. They're loaded with bits of shredded pork that add both texture and smoky flavor, making them one of the better barbecue sides around. Rudy's is one of those chains that doesn't feel like a chain. The focus is on the meat, and it shows. It delivers the consistency you'd expect from a larger operation while still feeling like a neighborhood barbecue joint. That's not an easy balance to strike, but Rudy's pulls it off.

When I entered, the place was pretty empty and the woman behind the counter told me they were out of a lot of things - they start smoking in the morning and when they run out they are out. But she did have pork ribs and burnt ends left, which were the things I was most interested in. She said she'd make me a big platter with ribs and burnt ends and I ordered a side of bacon potato salad. I saw her put everything into the computer a couple times as she was working to get me a good price. The side was 8oz potato salad. Unfortunately when I got home with my order, it wasn't my order. She'd given me someone else's order entirely. Instead of several pork ribs and lots of burnt ends I had a chicken leg, some brisket, a couple pork ribs and some catfish. No potato salad, unless the tiny container was a taster, but maybe that was tartar sauce. I was happy to try so many things, but felt bad for whoever didn't get this order. By the time I realized it I was already home and wasn't going to return cold food. :( The catfish was the strange one - I wasn't sure what it was when I touched it (since it wasn't what I ordered) and upon touching it, it felt strangely wiggly. As if it was a piece of deep fried silicone or something. But we cut into it and I tried it and it was honestly my favorite thing in the whole meal! Super tasty!! When I was at the restaurant the woman told me the meats didn't have BBQ sauce on them, but when I opened up the containers, the burnt ends and the ribs did have a little sauce on them. So it was overall a super confusing situation. Bread rolls were boring, but the rest of the food was good. I'd like to actually try the bacon potato salad next time I visit. Restaurant is large and was clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. Food was fresh and tasty.

I finally decided to try this restaurant after going back and forth with the other negative reviews that are out there but sadly, my negative experience was also similar to the others. I walked into the restaurant and immediately noticed that it was dirty and very dusty, however, some of the best food I have had in the past has been in places where some dust lives. I overlooked that part of it since the food smelled sooo good as soon as I walked in and I wasn't planning on dining in anyways. A few of the reviews talked about the rude staff, I didn't have that experience. Were they bubbly? No. Rude? Also no. The service was the only part of this experience that wasn't negative. I spent over $50 on the food which turned out to be mostly INEDIBLE. I cannot remember another time where I have had to throw out this much food. I ordered the sampler platter, fried shrimp with fries and collard greens. First to note was that the food smelled so good all the way home and I couldn't wait to dive in. I started with the shrimp. The shrimp had been cooked more than once and these were not only hard but also chalky, these shrimp were overcooked to the point of cremation. I thought maybe it was just the one shrimp that I had so I tried another one but unfortunately, they were the same and you could tell just by touching them. The french fries were also overcooked and tasted like they had been fried more than once maybe a day or two prior and then fried again, and also were very overcooked. The collard greens were cooked well but all I could taste was SALT. I love salty food and I tend to put salt on everything so the fact that I'm saying that it was inedible due to the amount of salt should tell you how over-salted this food was. The sampler platter had rib tips, wings, one sausage, and french fries. The rib tips were prepared with way too much liquid smoke, which overpowered all of the meat. Which makes me think, why would a BBQ spot be using liquid smoke unless they aren't truly smoking the meat? The rib tips were also very overcooked, hard, and dry. One of the wings was edible and did have good flavor, however, the rest of them were also extremely overcooked and dried out. The sausage had way too much spice (pepper) but not enough flavor, also had a huge issue with way too much salt. I'm not really sure how you can over salt something, but not necessarily give it enough flavor. In total, I was only able to eat half of one of the shrimp as the rest I had to spit out. And was only able to eat two of the rib tips because the rest tasted like nothing but liquid smoke and were extremely dry, overcooked and too tough to eat. I only had one bite of the collard greens to know that I could not eat them also due to the amount of salt. I was very hopeful that this would've been a good place especially so close to home. I have had amazing barbecue in the past and I've also had really delicious food from people that are from Chicago, so I feel like this was even more of a letdown than usual. Again, my biggest issue was that this food was inedible and unfortunately, I had already wasted $50 on the food. I was tempted to call the restaurant and talk to a manager or the owner however, I had seen all of the other reviews of rudeness and negativity when people brought food issues to the attention of the staff. I also have zero interest in going back had I been offered replacement food. So I will chalk this loss up to just an overall horrible experience. I hope that this was just a bad day for them but the mistakes that were made along with the other negative reviews, tell me that is likely not the case.

Comfortable, sorta on the dark side. Classy. As I was not driving today, I decided to try their smoked Old Fashioned. Excellent -- and the dark cherries they use are the perfect addition to the cocktail. (The glass is coated with smoke from a smoldering piece of pecan wood, and the cocktail was served with a cloud of smoke under a coaster covering the glass.) The pig sickles ( ribs) were the perfect chance to make a pig of myself. Had the two meat plate, pig sickles and barbecued pulled chicken, If you like corn, you must have the side of corn with your dinner. The barbecue beans were delicious. Our server did a magnificent job tending to our drinks, appetizer, and food orders -- despite being very busy (the place was packed! -- and seemed like she was in constant motion. Very nice individual who liked la Prices? It was expensive, but the best barbecue always is. Eating isn't cheap. It was well worth every dollar spent. All in all, it was a perfect dinner.
