Metal piece/string from an S.O.S. Pad or BBQ bristle cleaner this was lodged in my throat and wrapped around my tonsils.

Don't get my review mixed up. The food here is amazing. I love this place. Coming from Hawaii, this is the closest place to getting Hawaiian style food at a fast and convenient place. I am writing this review because this metal fray from either a bbq cleaning brush or a metal bristle style S.O.S. Sponge. It was caught in the back of my throat and tonsil and caused minor lacerations and bleeding. I am reporting this place to the BBB,FDA, and OSHA! I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Metal string was in my fire chicken plate.

We got takeout today...hot, big portions and super delicious. Wish I could share the service and ambience but my friend picked up our meals.

I ran in to use the restroom and ended up buying a bowl because they smelled good. The shop (and restroom) were clean and bright. The employees were super friendly explaining their menu and offering choice. I got a grilled lemon chicken bowl. They chicken was tender and had a good flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly. I was not a fan of their sauces and I ended up eating it dry.

Love this place the food is always yummy. Especially the macaroni. Love that they put fresh vegggies under the meat because I love eating that too. Cute little spot and service has been good every time we go.

The customer service from December was awesome and friendly. I had the island fire chicken and it was very good with a lot of flavor as well as a nice size portion, the macaroni salad is the bomb. I will be back to try all other options of meat. The restaurant was nice and clean as well, I recommend this spot for some good Hawaiian bbq.

Husband literally goes here once a week for lunch. So when I got into this yelp experience there was no need to convince him to go here for dinner. I got the shrimp and bbq chicken plate and he goes for his usual chicken katsu. We love their Mac salad so much! So we definitely Got a side of Mac salad with our meal. There's plenty of seating so we dined in. Their katsu sauce is a MUST with the chicken katsu and almost anything on their menu! Their BBQ chicken was a hit with my 4 year old too!

I just ran in to pickup Togo food and I walk in and the inside is just as hot as the outside! (Which is 101 degrees). I asked the employee if the owners are going to fix the ac and they shook their head no! It is cruel to make human beings work in those conditions. Fix your damn ac! Lord knows this company charges enough for the food to afford it!!

The first time visiting Ono; it was wonderful I love the variety to choose from and it reminded me of Hawaii... the friendliness of employees, the cleanliness of the establishment, environment was nice, mellow and busy. The prices were reasonable and the food quality is good. I have only had one mishap here in regards to having an order not made properly though they rectified it immediately and we're very apologetic. I appreciated this greatly as to a lot of the establishments placing the blame on the customers instead of themselves so thank you for this. Ono is my go to eatery for when I want to have a great tasting meal, brings me back to hawaii Everytime. Fish is nicely cooked and flaky with great flavor, I have had the salad which I really wasn't a fan of but everyone's tastes are different ( the flavor of the dressing was weird to me ), the shrimp were cook thoroughly and flavor could be picked up a notch, spam was awesome plump and flavorful along with the Rangoons I believe they're called ( with the cream cheese in it ) though warning they don't have the sweet sauce to go with them if you are a fan of that. Don't forget to stop off at the sauce station to pick up some extra sauce for your food if needed. Don't forget to check if you have your utensils and napkins all located at the sauce station where the drinks are located in the back of the room near the registers.

"Ono Hawaiian BBQ" is very easy to find, plenty of parking too.

Definitely nothing to complain about. The one thing that I think need to be addressed is the patty. It was very thin... Still not a deal breaker but it the texture was dry and not hamburger like if that makes since at all. It's only because the patty might be a hard item for them to change that I was left let down.

Your favorite Yelp correspondent and occasional Uber Eats driver found himself in the northeast corner of Ontario after ferrying a Mediterranean meal from my hometown of Diamond Bar to Ontario when my attention was riveted by the "Kra Z Kai's Laotian BBQ" signage alight on the building. Upon entering into the communal dining hall, I discovered that Kra Z Kai's apparently shuttered a month ago. I immediately noticed the long queue snaking its way to the register at Shootz. Though I was crestfallen about Kra Z Kai's closure, I decided to roll the dice -shootz my luck, if you'll pardon my brutal pun- and try out Shootz. I tabbed the best looking item on their pictorial menu- Their much balkyhooed Kimchi Buttered Katsu Chicken Combo, which comes with spicy Mac Salad and steamed rice tossed with green onions and furikake, a popular Nipponese seasoning comprised of minced dried seaweed (nori), sesame seeds and salt/pepper. The moneymaker dish is excellent. The katsu chicken has a nice but not overly crunchy exterior, drenched in a flavorful, Umani-rich sauce made of kimchi butter. Shootz has locations in Ontario, Whittier and Stanton, so I don't know when I'll have it again...but if I I find myself in Ontario again, then I'll definitely take -you guessed it- another shot.
