Hubby and I ordered a total of 3 dishes - salt and pepper pork chops, eggplant with tofu, and shrimp shumai. We had steamed rice and fried rice to go with the entrees. The fried rice was cooked well but bland. Everything else was pretty packed full of flavor. I enjoyed the eggplant tofu and appreciated that all the dishes came out hot and stayed hot. The eggplant still had its shape and absorbed the sauce well. I generally don't like tofu, but fry on this dish was excellent. It was crispy on the ouside. The shumai was juicy and scrumptious. I could eat those everyday. The pork chops were crispy and tender at the same time. They were lightly salted and peppered and placed on a bed of shredded cabbage and sliced peppers. The service was fast and the host was friendly. The atmosphere was quaint and peaceful. The tables were clean and the condiments organized.

Great place for lunch. The food was fresh and very delicious. Great place to eat in or take out, the dining area was very spacious quite atmosphere. The food was ready within a few min and the service was on point they accommodated us to dine in when we initially asked to take out.

I really liked the broth and veggies in this soup. My friend gave me her chicken cause she didnt want it and it was really good. I asked for no chicken or beef in mine hoping there would be compensation in the shrimp for not having the other two but i only got 2 pieces of shrimp. The wontons themselves were grainy and the beef inside was over spice. They were not great. The rest of the soup was amazing and the shrimp crystal dumplings were really good. Our server felt like she was rushing us until we actually ordered our food. And your water tastes like dirt. :( it was horrible. Thank you !

Delivery: Food: Our first time having avian Moon. We went with delivery which was very fast. We ordered: twinkle walnut shrimp, steamed dumplings, kung pao chicken, vegetable chow mein In my opinion the shrimp was too fishy. My husband didn't though. I really liked the dumplings. We'll definitely give it another go.

Orange Chicken Lunch Special. One of my wife's favorite dishes

Hello fellow Yelpers, I need to tell you, for lunch I recommended we have Chinese cuisine and Siri (my wife), was pushing for the, "Black and White" asian bear place but, it fell on deaf ears (actually tinnitus) and when I pulled up to China Moon, I went from "Hero to Zero" very quickly. I've been wanting to try this place since moving out in this area. I'm sooo glad they offered Orange chicken as a lunch special because that's my wife's favorite "authentic" Chinese dish ;) I chose the spicy garlic shrimp. Our soup choices were egg drop and hot-n-sour w/veg egg roll, it's all included on their lunch menu. It was decent and enjoyable. Both dishes came HOT! As in, burning the roof of your mouth hot. Spread it out, give it time to cool off. After my wife took her first bite, I went back to "Hero" status as she proclaimed this orange chicken to be better than that "Ling and Hsing" commercialized place, the rice and noodles that came with this entree was pretty good, too. The lightly crisp and juicy pieces of the chicken were cooked to order and weren't overly sweet, which is a good thing, for me. My spicy shrimp was also very hot (burnt my tongue), and made to order. This shrimp has a crispness to it, very flavorful too, the garlic sauce was a little too thick for me but, wasn't a deal breaker. Noodles were just ok, as the fried rice was the weak link on this dish. Service was quick and friendly, lots of parking and easy to locate. This "Hero" definitely recommends China Moon :)

Horrible chow mien no flavor and not one vegetable in it. Won't be going back all the food was very tasteless.

The worst chow mien I've ever had. Food was very tasteless and no veggies in the chow mien.

The orange chicken was dry and had zero "orange" going on. The barbecue pork? More sauce than meat... like, are we paying for protein or soup? Curry chicken was lacking in curry flavor. And let's talk price almost $20 per entrée for this? Yeah... no. At that price, it should slap. This barely tapped me on the shoulder. Service didn't help either. The guy on the phone was cool, I'll give credit where it's due. But in person? No personality, no effort just "here's your food, next." Then the final boss moment: the sauces. I asked for a variety, and they really said "bet" and just tossed them in the bag like a game of condiment roulette. Sweet-and-sour exploded everywhere, so that all went straight to the trash. If you like overpriced, underwhelming food and vibes to match, this is your spot. Otherwise... keep driving.

We also had the white meat chicken lo mein lunch special. The house sauce beef was a bit too sweet and I had to eat extra rice to tone it down. The lo mein was better and I'd get that again. Aside from the lo mein I'd say rest of food is just ok and there is a better Chinese out there but it's another option if in area.

It is your typical no frills Chinese fast food where you pick your sides and entrees. Everything here is priced low. So why did I drive all the way over here from Temecula area on a busy Friday rush hour traffic? Simple. Chow mein & chicken wings!!! Though the noodles are the typical yellow noodles you find at fast food Chinese joints, I looooove that theirs has a hint if the white pepper taste and also has that wok fried, fire seared taste. They have spicy chicken wings in weet spicy sauce but I ordered it dry WITHOUT the sauce and had them add jalapeños with it. We waited 20 minutes for the fresh made wings (esp bc they were busy) but it's ok it was worth the wait!! This was a craving I had to satisfy since I thought about the chicken wings and chow mein all day long.

A short 15-minute drive brought us to The Dumpling House, where diners were already waiting both inside and outside. We added our name to the list at the bar (about 7-9 parties ahead of us) and were seated surprisingly quickly. Once at the table, we ordered generously--soup dumplings, BBQ pork buns, shumai, beef and broccoli, and still more dumplings. Everything was outstanding. The dumplings and other dim sum items are made fresh in-house, which really shows in both the texture and flavor. They were so good we left almost nothing behind. Looking back, we probably should have left at that point, but our kids were already starving. Once our food arrived, we still had to flag down a server just to get our drinks and utensils. The drinks eventually came, but the utensils never did we ended up getting them ourselves. We never had an assigned waiter just multiple people bringing our dishes. The service was so poor that I honestly can't even remember how the food tasted because the entire experience was overshadowed by the lack of attention and organization.
