Today was my first time me trying out there popcorn.. I saw there pop up tent at the Bubble Run in Waialua. Popcorn tastes really good. We finished a bag before we even got back to our car.. only negative was there customer service. We PAID for 4 bags of popcorn that we had to wait 15 minutes for (they had to make more popcorn bags of the flavors we wanted) which we didn't mind waiting. The cashier tells is that we could wait on the side or walk around and come back she'll have it waiting for us. We decided to walk around and come back. I told the cashier, pick up for Stacy, she thens tells the other guy that we are here to pick up.. long story short, they gave away our popcorn that we PAID for.. this guy was blaming me saying that I took to long to come back for it, so he HAD TO GIVE IT AWAY! no apology no sympathy nothing.. so I still had to wait for our popcorn.. read more

Very surprised this guy has any business with how rude he is. My wife asked him a question very very politely and he had the most shocking and rude response that was completely uncalled for. If someone just owned up to their bad attitude and apologized then people wouldn't have to leave 1 star reviews but this is really disturbing. Notice multiple one star reviews commenting how rude Brandon is - this is not bc the buyers are rude...take care of your business and try to not make people angry. There is a nicer way to say no to someone and sure if they get annoying and picky and rude then he can be rude but we couldn't have been more polite to him and his response for really jarring and kind of spoiled the rest of our time at the farmers market bc everyone else selling to us at the other set and were so nice and sweet. read more

Highly recommend Ono Kettle Pop for your next large event. We ordered 150 of the popcorn cones as favors and it came out beautifully- ordering through the website was super easy and you can even do customized labels. I went to my weekly visit to the Kailua Farmer's Market, and was just about to leave till the Ono Kettle Pop booth kept calling me over. I noticed they had new packaging,products and flavors. While I was in line, the cook came over and enthusiastically gave us a good amount of samples that he was proud of. They also had a sign that said to check-in on Yelp for a discount. I asked the cashier what the discount was,and she was very nice and attentive, even though she was busy with a few other customers. I checked onto Yelp,and was surprised to see a $2.00 discount on a regular $7.50 bag!! And it's a pretty good size bag too! Also,if you buy 2 or more the 4th one is 50% off! Whoo hoo!! Eventhough they are busy , midst of crazy Covid timing , and holiday season right around the corner , Brandon is very communicative and willing to work with your needs . Delicious and kids approved flavors ! Ordered 75 mini kettle popcorn bags with mixed flavors with just two weeks notice or less (I added more later with two days before delivery ). ADDICTING I stopped by while browsing through the Friday market at Fort Street Mall- not really looking to buy popcorn or anything for that matter. But yet I ended up buying 2 big bags- one of plain butter and the other of kettle corn - that's what I get for shopping while hungry! I was glad I did because they both were really good! The staff showed us the aloha spirit through and through. The popcorn was great! The girl working there at KCC farmer's market on Saturdays was absolutely delightful with customer care. Whenever we see Ono Kettle Pop, we always have to buy a bag or two to bring home. We love that it tastes fresh, with the right of sweet and salty and still have that crunch. So delicious and addictive! I was originally drawn in, because I'd had caramel cheddar popcorn when I was at a conference in Chicago. So glad someone brought this to Hawaii! went out of my way to check this place out as my daughter's school is partnering with them for a fundraiser. i checked out all the info here online before heading down as i had specific questions before i placed my fundraising order with the school. we arrived about 30 min before closing time and not a single customer in the tent except us. i was trying to ask my questions but i was quickly brushed off by the owner to look at his website as he doesn't have time to answer questions there. ok, FINE. then while my daughter and I were trying to decide what flavor popcorn to get, apparently we were taking too long as he tried to hurry us by saying everything is on the label. I was PISSED but did not want to cause a scene. took my 1 bag and left. I'm glad I went there because i was all set to order 25 bags as giveaways AND solicit all my family and friends to buy more AND support a local business. but after the treatment i received, HELL NO. and no wonder he acts like that - he's not even from here! i will gladly spend my money elsewhere and never support this one.
