My friend and I was at the Kakaako Farmer's Market and ran into the Crepes Hawaii booth. We both decided to try it and loved it! I ordered "healthy choice" and my friend ordered the garlic shrimp crepe. They make it fresh and hot and generous portions! Healthy Choice - chicken breast, spinach, sun dried tomato, artichokes feta cheese, garlic aioli. $9. This was so good!!! Lots of chicken breast and spinach and the taste was fantastic!! So much generous portions that I was completely full! Shrimp Crepe - garlic shrimp, spinach, bacon, mozzarella, sausage, basil aioli. $9. I had some of my friend's crepe and this was good too! Lots and lots of shrimp. We both really enjoyed our crepes and were full after. It was nice eating a hot meal at the farmers market. The food was plentiful, reasonable priced and very tasty!!! Had the opportunity to try Crepes Hawaii on two separate occasions a few months back (another late review, sorry). Both were catered events and the guests at both LOVED their crepes - including me. Crepes Hawaii makes both sweet and savory crepes. The most popular sweet crepe, by far, at both events was The Dream (strawberries, bananas and nutella). How could you go wrong with those ingredients? The Kahlua Pig (kahlua pig, spinach, mozzarella cheese & asian soy glaze) and Caprese (tomatoes, spinach, mozzarella, basil oil and balsamic reduction) were the best received savory crepes. I'd definitely order these again. Crepes are made to order - so they are hot and fresh. But, because they're made to order, there can be a bit of a wait if there are a number of people in line. But they are totally worth it! Like I said, I tried Crepes Hawaii at catered events. PreCOVID, they were regulars at various farmer's markets. Don't know if this is currently the case however. I forgot to pick up my Crepes & returned the next week to see if I could pick up my paid product. At the Kailua Farmers Market. The girls working apparently remembered me and let the cook/owner know. He said, "And what!?, last week. I going have to charge you again cause was wasted product." I told him that i guess I will just donate and never buy from you again. He looks miserable & unhappy. Poor customer service, period. Bye. No stars. The forty mile drive to and from was not worth my time. I think this place may have moved. Products are pricey so I've only visited once. In my opinion, the portions are not worth the price. For one crepe which is equivalent to a mini plate of food is about 13$-15$. If you're craving crepes, try Marion Crepes at Shirokiya, which is better in my opinion and is 2$-4$ cheaper. In my visit, I tried their Oreo crepe which was ok, not mind-blowing, I haven't visited here for a while, I don't think I'll go back either. Found them at the Sunday Kailua Farmers Market. Had my first savory crepe back in Annapolis. It was a BBQ pulled pork crepe and I was so obsessed. Yesterday, I was so so happy we came across a crepe stand that's even better than the one I had in Annapolis!! Everything on the menu looks amazing, making it hard to decide what to order. My boyfriend and I settled for "The Local", which had kalua pig, spinach, mozzarella, soy glaze, and little bits of salmon. Oh man, it was DELICIOUS and perfect for breakfast!! We inhaled the whole thing!!! Our crepe had a pretty good amount of meat on it, which we always appreciate. Maybe next time, we'll ask to add some avocados. I kind of wish I had gotten my own instead of sharing hahaa Still dreaming about it the next day and will surely get some at the Thursday farmers market ;) They also had sweet crepes for those with a sweet tooth. Service is not there, short maybe Filipino (im Filipino too it's not a racist thing just describing her) lady with a hat on today was rude. Maybe it was shark week for her. We probably won't go back again since she left a sour taste in our mouths. She let us know she didn't want us there not sure why. Locals here usually friendly to each other, not with this one. Clearly having a bad day. She said they weren't serving breakfast items and I saw the other lady cooking fried rice, not sure what that was about. I saw people pay and grab their food quick so I assume they prioritize maybe phone orders ? It's a bit of a wait because of that. The crepes are tasty though. Review is for the KCC Farmer's Market stand. We absolutely loved the crepes and will definitely eat them again next time we are at Farmer's Market! We had "The Heavenly" (spinach, mushroom, proscuitto) for $9 and "The Works" (bananas, strawberries, peanut butter) for $8 crepes and they were both delicious! The crepe was just alright and hardly locally farmed ingredients as it claims (my guess is the only thing local were the bananas- everything else was from Costco). Anyway, this review is for the owner who was a TOTAL JERK to his employee today at the Kakaako farmers market while my family and I waited for our order. The owner was getting mad at his employee for not writing orders down using EVERY LINE in this notebook- so silly! He mentions other things the guy does wrong- even threatened the guy's pay if he continued to do it. To add insult to injury, instead of handing his employee the cooked crepes, the owner would just throw it on the table. Dude! You're mad at your guy but don't also be rude to your paying customer! Will not be supporting your small business if this is how to treat your people and my food! To his employee- find another job! You don't deserve to be treated so rudely. Not worth it! read more

Long time customer. Always have a great experience. The crepes are under $10, and they're nice portion sizes. The menu is pretty much set. I read some of the other reviews, and they don't sound like they're talking about the right company, or it's employees. My all-time favorite crêpe is heavenly and is called The Heavenly. It has the best balsamic glaze, with prosciutto, mozzarella, mushrooms, and spinach. It is so, so good. I could have it every day. I choose a savory crepe over a sweet crepe everyday. They have a bunch of other choices that are also good. Especially love having a crepe in the morning...The Sunrise and The Breakfast BLT are ono. SHELLFISH ALLERGIES VS CROSS-CONTAMINATION ALERT!!! I'd like to start off by saying I dont usually leave comments and rarely complain, and I'm saddened to feel compelled to write this. I work on campus on Saturdays and I use to go to visit them a lot until they got super popular (I would tell people to got check them out and I even have a punch card!) Today there was only a few people in line so I thought I'd pay them a visit. I noticed they had some new items on their menu and wanted to try the Chkn Parm (chicken parmesan.) I informed the cashier that I was allergic to shellfish, I'm guessing she didn't hear me, the market is pretty noisy, so I also informed the person making the crepes. I apologized for the inconvenience as I requested he changed his gloves (to unsure No CROSS CONTAMINATION) and he appeared to not be upset about my request and said "no worries." However the other worker, who appeared older than the other worker I just mentioned, had used same glove to add shrimp to another crepe and then touched my crepe with same glove. Again, I apologized for inconvenience (for being a possible pain-in-the-butt) as I tried to explain- he immediately got frustrated (as I could be to if I were in his shoes) and stated he was not informed, EVEN Though I stated it to 2 other people. Instead of showing empathy or concern for a customer's health he snapped at cashier and stated "we dont need that liability" and demanded that she give me back my money! No apologies from him (keep in mind that I apologized more than once). Poor coworkers looked like they were in shock and possibly embarrassed with how he acted. My background was in hospitality and I Understand, Innerstand and Overstand the seriousness of CROSS CONTAMINATION. No one wants to be known as the person/place that sent someone to the hospital. Heck most customers dont apologize for inconvenience! I wasn't mean nor demanding nor demeaning, instead I showed patience and courtesy and left feeling appalled and empty handed. I could understand if they were "in-the-red" (had orders backed up) but that was not the case. As a person who has plenty of experience in customer service, in one way or another, this was a very uncomfortable experience I've not ever been treated like this. Usually when I state my allergies (calm and respectful manner) the workers are reciprocate respect back and are extra careful. I loved their crepes but not at the risk of having an severe allergic reaction and a trip to the hospital. I'm going to miss their crepes as I'll be taking my money elsewhere. For any of you who took the time to actually read this all-the-way-through please be mindful of CROSS CONTAMINATION especially if you or someone you care about is allergic to shellfish. Happened to be at Farmers Market at the Blaisdell several weeks ago on a Wednesday evening. I had my first Caprese Crepe and fell in love with this place. Oh my! Soooo good, I returned the next week and the next week and the next, and plan on going back next week! That is just how good these crepes are. My daughter joins me and we try different ones. Have not gotten one we did not love. The young couple cooking and taking care of things give first class customer service. They are terrific.
