I'm disabled, so all my shopping is thru Walmart delivery, which delivers out-of-stock items thru OnTrac; no delivery fee. I have had mostly great experiences with OnTrac. You must go to the OnTrac website to *opt-in for notifications* and to check the status of your delivery. When my pkg was delayed for over a day, I got notifications but I also visited the OnTrac website for updates. This helped me immensely that day as there is no auto-notification for "Your Walmart shopper just walked off the job without telling anyone." So, for the most accurate updates and location details, visit the OnTrac website and enter your pkg's tracking number. And be patient! Some delays are unavoidable, and some causes for delays do not fit the pre-programmed notifications. read more

This company SUCKS!! I repeat: ONTRAC SUCKS!! Ive had a package waiting for Ontrac to pick up from the shipper for 3 days now... My package is STILL sitting at shipping location. Ontrac often doesn't update their online shipping status. My package said it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, as the shipper notified it was already sent to Ontrac and Ontrac's system says it was to be delivered yesterday.... But, it also says they never got the package. Ontrac has absolutely ZERO customer service contact information & their phone number doesn't work. They only offer AI support that is a waste of time. I honestly hope Ontrac goes out of business. This isnt the first time ive had issues with Ontrac. They dont do their f*cking job & expect consumers to be held hostage waiting for a delivery that they cannot complete. I have had many of packages reimbursed due to Ontrac's complete negligence & terrible service. Do not allow Ontrac to get away with this terrible service. Do as i do and contact retailer! Walmart apparently uses OnTrac for some of their deliveries that we (the customer) is not made aware of beforehand. For the 3rd time in a row our delivery was made to a wrong address a quarter mile away from us. We are at 7050 the delivery was made at 6900. Terrible carrier. My deliveries always end up lost or delayed because the drivers cannot find my address. No other carrier has a problem with this. Then when I try to speak with customer service through their chat system I get a bot. You have to open a case and wait to be able to speak to an actual person. When you speak to an actual person its as if you are speaking to a robot as well. All of their replies are the same, seem automated. There is no personalization or reassurance. Each time I try to leave a comment with a driver, they do not seem to get them because they still cannot find my address. I have had a package delayed several weeks now and I cannot get a refund from the retailer because OnTrac will not ship it back or mark it "lost" even though they confirmed my package was lost. They just keep opening "cases" and "looking into it." I am always very disappointed with their services and I wish the retailers I shop with would stop working with them. read more

Do not order from companies that use OnTrac. They have the worst customer service and are straight up dishonest. They said the "business was closed" (my home?) one day after saying my item was out for delivery until 11 pm, before changing it to saying they attempted a delivery at 4 pm (I was home, they did not). The day before the same thing, except they said the address was wrong- I verified that it was correct. It's not a confusing area, and I've never had issues. Now they are saying they will attempt again but no promises, and they will cancel the order if they "fail the attempt" again. read more

DHL forwarded a very important package from China for my business to On-Trac one week ago today. It has taken many days longer to get the last 50 miles than it did from China to the local DHL facility where On-Trac took possession. I still don't have it. On-Trac's tracking is not updated (they are still awaiting receipt of package?) and they have no real person to speak with. They have a bot-driven chat that states the same as above and they offer no phone numbers on their website. I finally found a number googling the company and that 800 number does not work. Worst delivery service ever. I have had multiple packages sent from multiple companies and the OnTrac driver delivered packages to the wrong address. I can't locate where the picture was taken and it is not my address. I have opened multiple tickets with their AI support (so horrible) and have tried with a chat with a representative and no help was given. They just keep telling me that they have opened an investigation and that I should wait 2 business days even though it has been longer than that. I wish that businesses would stop using this for their delivery service. I still have not received my packages and now I am getting the run around with the companies I have purchased from because they say I need to work with OnTrac to get this resolved. Tracking my delivery seemed normal until the tracking updated to say they needed address confirmation. This order was 3 pieces where the other 2 came separately, all from OnTrac and somehow they couldn't figure out how to find my house again?! The tracking says, "update needed, contact us". When I see a company send me a Ontrac tracking, I already feel a sense of dread. If it's something that is not timely, I don't care as much. But when it's a food subscription or something I need fast, there's almost always issues. I end up with perishable food two days later then planned or in one case something was lost for months. I eventually got the item, but it's quite frustrating. Writing this as my package that was supposed to be delivered today was not delivered due to no gate access code, my unit doesn't even require going into the gate to access. Most delivery services have no issues, even other Ontrac delivers never had to get a gate access code. I myself do not even know the code as it's not needed to access my unit. Completely disappointed and will be taking the time to ask companies to not use Ontrac for my deliveries. read more

SO DISRESPECTFUL. My sister was murdered in November, on my birthday. Some of the VERY FEW items of hers that her murderer didn't destroy, are little gnomes that are apart of a shrine on our porch. They clearly did not try to deliver because all they would have to do is drive into my driveway and leave the package by the front door. This is not the first time this has happened. It's like the third time. One time they left the package at the bottom of my driveway by the street. These delivery drivers are either lazy, wanting to clock out early so they say delivery was attempted, or have no common sense to be able to deliver a package correctly. HOW AN ONTRAC DELIVERY DRIVER AT THIS LOCATION STOLE $1036.00 WORTH OF RIDGID POWER TOOLS FROM ME! I was home all day eagerly anticipating the delivery of 10 Rigid power tools, so I was home and happy to see my package was about to be delivered. It was sometime after 6pm that the delivery driver showed up in front of my trailer, I was on my porch (left side of my house) I look at him and waived, he rummaged in the van for about 15min then drove away. I ran to the other side of my house immediately to see if he left my package and he did not. I believe he temporarily set it down the right side of my house, took a picture of the package, and then put the package back in the van. He stopped a few houses down to do another delivery and when he got out I was yelling "where's my package" he got back into the van quickly then took off. He scanned my package at 3:20pm ( nowhere near my home), came by my house at 6pm to take a picture, then did not put the delivery through until about 9am on 3/12/25 just before the start of his next day's shift. He waited to put this delivery through until the next day therefore taking away my ability to claim it wasn't delivered immediately, because you cannot contest a delivery until after it is marked "Delivered". By scanning my package at 3:20 pm 3/11 he was able to lock in a false delivery time which he put through on 3/12. Therefore separating himself from the scene of the crime by time and taking away my ability to complain my package wasn't delivered. By doing so he then can claim he delivered it and has a picture and can blame it on porch pirates because it's been so many hours since he delivered it. Additionally Home Depot doesn't brown box, they send most things in their original boxes, which tells corrupt delivery drivers or porch pirates, exactly what's inside. I don't know the drivers name, but it was a Latino male about 5' 7" and maybe 200lbs or so. read more

Delivered my packages to the wrong address. Impossible to speak with anyone, all contact is automated through text or AI. Assuming the texting is AI as well because the responses are canned. I asked that they contact their driver and have them back track to pick up my packages and bring them to the correct address, they claim they have no cell phones for contact. Worst customer service ever. Do not use this company for package delivery, their AI firewall is terrible. Meanwhile, I am essentially screwed out of about $280 worth of merchandise. read more

I always groan when I place an order online and they use OnTrac for delivery. I've had consistently bad experiences with OnTrac. They almost always deliver to the wrong house or they mark it delivered when it hasn't been delivered at all. I never know what to expect, except a bad delivery. Also this is coming from a former Amazon driver of 3 years. I've been there. I've done pretty much the same thing with almost 200 stops daily. It's not that hard to check and make sure you're delivering to the right house. I wish they would set higher standards for their delivery and overall customer service. This is the delivery company that works with Home Depot. I ordered a product off the Home Depot site. I never got the item and this company never told me that they had come to the property and attempted to enter. But bc they didn't have the gate code they didn't bother to call and let me know. I found out only by calling Home Depot and I spent over an hour in 2 instances on the phone getting an associate to speak to an OnTrac rep who eventually told me that the product was in one of their storage centers waiting to be delivered. I wish Home Depot contracted with another company bc this is one is very unprofessional and uncommunicative. I have read through the reviews for this company and I have to side with the poor ones. They were supposed to deliver my package yesterday. And since you can't speak to a live person and only SMS them I was texted " what are your business hours". Now it's very obvious I live in an area of only residential private homes. So my package wasn't delivered. Problem with this company is they lack customer service and only provide someone to text you from their homes across the US and all there responses are the same for every case and situation. I can't even begin to tell you the the number of times that my shipment has been listed as "out for delivery" only to be told later that day that it was "delayed." Then we go through the entire thing the next day. And often the next. Sometimes if it is "delayed" it falls into some kind of black hole and you don't get another notice of delivery for another week or so. Most recently, I started a subscription with Freshly. I was supposed to start getting a box of cold food weekly. Well, the day it was to arrive , my box was "out for delivery". Then I got a notice stating that it was "delayed". The following day, (day #3) I was told it was delivered. But it wasn't. I have cameras. It most definitely was never delivered. Two weeks later, a smelly warm box of food arrived on my door. In this instance, they drop the ball four times on this delivery. Was this the only bad experience with OnTrac? Nope. They have been a disaster for the last several years. Needless to say I had to cancel my subscription with Freshly. Yesterday I was supposed to get a phone from Google. Much to my dismay, they used OnTrac. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I stayed home all day because I knew I needed to sign for it. Then, last night, I got a notification stating that it was delayed. Today, it was out for delivery all day again. And home I sat. Again, it is delayed. Unfortunately this is not just a reflection on the shipping company. It reflects on the shipper and it hurts their business. My husband and I ordered something for our apartment, putting our apartment address and unit number on it. We very rarely get to actually be home so we plan very carefully for packages to be delivered on specific days or times. We got a notice in the morning that they "attempted to deliver" the packages we ordered and that the "business" was closed. I double checked that we had our address listed as the delivery address and it had our personal address AND unit number, not the office address. So, I find the contract info for OnTrac and contact their customer service through chat to try to find out what happened. The customer service rep, Miguel, was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I tried to explain my situation and why I was upset and he told me, "that sounds like a personal problem." He made several snarky, disrespectful comments throughout the conversation and didn't even care to help me with the mistake they made. First, the delivery driver NEVER attempted to deliver my package to my address. We were home waiting for it today and they NEVER attempted the delivery. Second, the correct address, our home address was listed as the delivery address. If you had attempted to actually deliver our packages, we would have known because we were home. Third, if you are going to provide a service, whether it be delivering a package or providing customer service for issues related to the service you are offering, then actually follow through on your end and fix mistakes with your customers. I was lied to in the conversation I had with customer service, as he told me they would redeliver it by the end of the day. When I tried to confirm this, he sent the same message over and over to my questions saying they don't do same day redelivery attempts. People are more likely to write review and contact other sources for help when they receive bad customer service. There was no reason for your customer service rep to disrespect me today, no excuse at all and that is absolutely unacceptable when doing business. I will never use OnTrac again for delivery and I seriously, if you ever listen to anything in your life until now, I highly recommend no one ever go through them...EVER! They don't care about you, they don't care for your packages and they will NOT help you solve issues they caused. Cancel your order and order through someone else. My item has been delayed EVERY day since 11/24/2020. Where the hell is it OnTrac? Now they're saying an event has delayed my delivery. What does that even mean?!! Did somebody run it over with a forklift? Did one of your associates steal it? Did it go down in a fucking plane crash? Or did you lay off delivery drivers because of COVID and now you only have 1 fucking driver available? It's been in my city for weeks now and honestly if I have to drive to the distribution center and just pick it up myself, then I will. Just give me the option. Obviously we cannot depend on the employees to get these packages on trucks. This is the job your employees signed up for and OnTrac needs to get their asses in gear and start delivering packages. I told them what a POS company they had and had the order returned because it wouldn't arrive on time. I ordered another item from Home Depot on 4/17/2024, on 2/18/2024 they returned the item to the Home Depot saying the order was refused when it fact they never attempted delivery. I was home all day and they never came. I didn't even get a notice from ONTRAC that my order was out from delivery, nor did I get one from Home Depot, meaning the order was never sent out for delivery and was simply returned because I gave them an ear full about their incompetent drivers and now they're retaliating. I have also filed a complaint with the Nevada Commerce Commission. ONTRAC just flat out is incompetent. read more

The gentleman who delivered my order was on time and super friendly! He even helped bring the large package inside, thank you kind sir! I must been extremely lucky or fellow yelpers were extremely unlucky. Reading all the reviews made me nervous but I am glad this was not the case. From my recent experience, OnTrac received my order, shipped same day, then delivered the next day. Package is in near perfect condition (and will update this review if the inside is otherwise).
