She claims to know what she's doing however she doesnt. I came in wanting grey blending highlights. And came out with Chunky blonde highlights and already showing roots. She's underprossesed hair. For my hair she pulled out the foils practically right after she put them on. And didn't even put me under the heat chair. When I mentioned but my old hairdresser who has retired always put me under the heat chair she said she barely used it. Unfortunately my coworker also came here cuz I thought I could recommend her after only having a very nice haircut. My coworkers hair is now Orange and we won't be returning.

The last time I got my hair cut, I went to a random person at Ulta because I was in a rush and getting out of town the next day and just needed a quick cut. As we started chatting, I quickly found out that this stylist had recently broke up with her bf - and she was wildly talking about the drama. Each chop of the scissors represented her hatred for that man - she ruined my hair like she was Edward scissor hands! It's been over 6 months since I've had my haircut due to needing to let it grow out. Needless to say I was nervous to have a new person style my hair again, but I've recently moved to California and needed a new stylist anyway. Kate listened to what happened last time (because as she looked at my hair she could tell how choppy and uneven the previous stylist had left my hair). She also listened to what I wanted in regards to color and did her best to execute it. Tanya's page was an ad on my Instagram for many weeks when I decided to finally book. I'm so glad I did because she did the best justice to my hair and brought it back to life. I sent her ideas ahead of them to give her ideas of what I'd be going for and what she was working with since we'd never met before in person. I ended up walking out loving everything about what she did! The studio space itself was cute, the parking is easy as it's in a strip mall that is near target but not very busy where the salon entrance is. The studio is in a larger salon so you have to text to be brought in. The actual studio space was small but had everything needed all in one!
