The shop itself was clean, pretty & organized. I'm in love with the design, the tables & the chairs. The service was impressive, our servers were nice & very gentle. Not as good as the service, sadly the food was pretty disappointed. We ordered omurice, oddle ribs, takoyaki & fried oysters. Every single item tasted a bit sour without necessary. I don't know, but it just didn't taste right to me. I also believe they need to improve the temperature of the food because nothing was hot enough. It's a big difference between the food was hot, then be cooled down and the food wasn't hot enough. Overall, 3 stars is only what I could give. I've only ever had instant top ramen from the soup aisle at the grocery store. Yes I'm ashamed . My daughter got me to go because she loves all things Asian and Anime so we tried boba and ramen for the first time. I got her a kids meal to go and I just got some dumplings but once we got home and I tried her food I was kicking myself for not getting my own lol. Inside the restaurant is beautiful. The decor and the vibe is very relaxing. The staff was so helpful and friendly which helped since we had never been inside a ramen place before. My dumplings were very good. They are the standard pan fried filled with pork and a soy dipping sauce. The ramen was fresh and if you get it to go it come separately and you build it at home. Everything was packed beautifully. Great food! Hubby had curry and it was nice and spicy 7-8 out of 10. I am a picky eater and they did a ramen bowl with just what I liked, noodles, bean sprouts, tomatoes, bamboo & scallions. I learned about this place before it opened and was looking forward to trying it out. I went on a Sunday evening and was seated immediately near the bar area. A very friendly host greeted me and provided some great suggestions. Even though ramen was their specialty, I decided to be a bit adventurous and try their classic omurice bowl (15 dollars). I did also order the vegan spicy miso ramen (14 dollars) for my mom to go. Surprisingly, my mom's ramen came first. It was nicely packed and bagged, but wished it came last so it can be piping hot when it got home. My water came a bit later, and another few minutes came my omurice. The omelette on top was sliced tableside and topped with seaweed and demi glaze. It was delicious and went well with the chicken fried rice on the bottom. The dish was flavorful without being overly rich. Even with the generous drizzle of the demi glaze, I was able to eat the whole thing. I was pretty filled, but wanted to try their dessert. So I went with the ube panna cotta (7 dollars). It came with vanilla ice cream topped with fruit loops and popping strawberry pearls. I almost thought the ice cream would have overwhelmed the flavor since the panna cotta was at the bottom, but it complimented quite well. The ube panna cotta was quite light and didn't have much of the ube flavor, so the ice cream and toppings enhanced it. I was presented with the check as well when I got the dessert, and they processed it quickly. Thus after finishing my dessert, I added the tip and headed out. I really enjoyed my server as he was very friendly and helpful. The owner was very nice as well, and I heard the chef has a Chinese and Japanese background. He started his culinary background at the age of 15. The atmosphere is extremely casual and popular American music can easily be heard. The bar had seats, but was empty of people. Instead, most people are at the tables and booths. There were TV's in the bar area, as well as a projector playing some computer graphic animations and nature videos. I am so happy to see Oodle near my parents area. It replaced Smashburger and the atmosphere still shows the very casual look. The chef has a great heart in the quality of cooking, and provides authentic Japanese food as well as ramen. I am looking forward to trying the ramen noodles next time. read more

This place exceeded my expectations ! Went for the first time and our server Ray was very nice and helped us with picking out stuff on the menu. Ray was very knowledgeable about the food that was on the menu and his recommendations were amazing. The vibe inside the restaurant was also super cute and I LOVED the Thai tea. We got a couple of appetizers to share like the Pork Gyoza, the sticky ribs, Korean fried chicken, and fried oysters. I got the Shoya Ramen and it was okay. I am someone who loves my food to burst with flavor so that ramen was a little on the plain side. The presentation of the plates were phenomenal. The deserts were also really fun and delicious especially the green tea cheesecake ! I live close by to this place and will continue to come back and try new things until I've tried it all. It was only like luke warm when it came out which was a negative. Tofu skin was really good. Noodles were good too. Portion was large. Not the best ramen I've had but broth had flavor and wasn't too salty. I'd def come back. The 2 in 1 option ramen or 1/2 bowl option is awesome. Loved this Japanese resto, the ambiance is super cool and the staff was friendly. I've ordered Omurice which is a first for me as not all Japanese resto have one on their menus. I also got the yakult lemonade which I didn't expect that it'll taste great, I thought it would have a weird taste as it is yakult but heck it is now one of my fave hehehe my bf got the classic tonkatsu ramen which he said that it was very delicious, while I do believe him as he finished it all hehehe I would really liked to try the tear drop dessert but we're super satiated that we decided to skip the dessert... for now Whenever, we go back to Orlando, I'm gonna make sure get back here and try their dessert and also try their ramen. Service was good, our waiter suggested tan tan ramen for my partner which was a creamy based with minced pork so the texture was unique but the overall portions fell flat for me. My partner had a small scoop of chopped pork in his noodles with at least 3 helpings of green onion so it might as well been an onion soup. I ended up having the spicy tonkotsu and it might as well been a vegetarian ramen while the noodles were excellent Texture and full serving the pork was quite literally 1 small palm size cut into 4 pieces. I got HALF an egg, not even the full egg which is a bit nuts to me and loaded up with corn at least 3 helpings , wood ears mushrooms and bamboo shoots . The meat was just a garnish it blew my mind. I even checked on the menu and they don't offer an extra meat option for purchase. I feel like I would have forgiven the lack of protein if I at least got to have my other slice of egg :/ I know inflation is tough but one egg between 2 people seems silly . read more

Went for lunch. Nice modern casual place. Had the lunch menu but added started of chicken karage. The chicken karage was ok. Greasy and not how I have had it at other places. Was almost like a beer batter and was thicker than usually I have seen it. Flavor was kind of bland and needed the mayo sauce that came with it to taste like anything. Overall ok but definitely held onto the grease from frying. Also even though it says small plate was a little surprised by 3 nuggets for $7. Ordered the spicy broth ramen lunch special with extra noodles and gyoza as the side. First the gyoza. Good. Good texture, cooked perfectly and great flavor. Tasted fresh and nice thin wrapper. The ramen was good. The broth was ok but all the other ingredients were great. The egg perfectly cooked and pork fall apart tender. The noodles were star of show. They give you plenty and I was sorry I ordered extra. But they were just such a perfect springy texture and you could tell they are using premium ingredients. I sometimes wonder if I should pay $15 for something I could make at home for $2. This place had that difference in the ramen I was looking for and is worth purchasing out if you are a ramen lover. Me and some friends came to eat here after attending megacon and had a great time. The waiter was super helpful and made sure to accommodate for my peanut allergy. I split the soft shell crab sandwich with a friend for an appetizer and although it is not big enough for a full meal it is a perfect appetizer and definitely worth a try. Came here with a friend for dinner. There was what seemed like no one in the restaurant even though it was empty, and after waiting to be sat for a little bit a man finally came over. The same guy was our server, and took our order pretty quickly. The specials menu was very hard to read as the ink seemed to die out on the paper. The ramen was mediocre, I've had several other places that tasted better. The waiter hardly checked in and never refilled my water that was nearly empty sitting on the table the whole meal. Before leaving I asked to add a side of mushrooms and bean sprouts for $2 and $1 respectively, they put it in a black plastic condiment cup! Talk about a rip off, I can't believe I paid $3 extra for what would have literally been one bite. Twenty Pho Hour offers a huge slab of bean sprouts included with your meal for practically the same price. For quality and quantity, I recommend going elsewhere. read more

Wanted to see what the hype was about for the omurice(Disappointment) not what I was expecting m, best way I could describe this dish here is ketchup and eggs over some fluffed fried rice with about 3 pieces of chicken inside of the rice also over priced...Menu prices are not bad on other food items and affordable. While the appetizers and the soba were pretty tasty, I don't think I would go back considering 2 food items we requested were not available and the server seemed rushed to clear our table, even taking my daughters food without even asking if she was done. Lady at the front door was very pleasant though. So my ending for this review is appetizers were good and I believe after 3pm you get $2 off the appetizers. We visited oodle on a Sunday evening to get ramen. When we entered, the place was fairly busy and we were seated immediately. I ordered tonkotsu ramen, my friend got the black tonkotsu, and we ordered takoyaki to split. The takoyaki came out first and it was not my favorite. The texture was doughier than we were used to and it was served with way too much egg and Mayo sauce, which neither of us liked. The ramen came out very hot, and the broth was delicious. I was a little disappointed to see that each of us only got half an egg and 2 pieces of pork, but the serving of noodles was healthy. This place had some very odd selections on their TVs, namely Fox News, a basketball game, and women's wrestling. The service after we were seated was very slow, and they tried to bring us the wrong food once. After giving them my credit card, they didn't bring it back until we prompted them 15 minutes later. I can't say I'd for sure return just because I don't feel that the serving size was worth the price considering the scant amount of meat, but the ramen was certainly tasty. read more

I decided to give this place a try because my favorite ramen spot doesn't open until 5:00 PM. My sister and I stopped for lunch at about 11:30ish. The decor is modern which gives it an upscale vibe and it's very nice on the eyes. Unfortunately , everything else was quite disappointing. Before I get into the review of the food let me say I visited the ladies restroom towards the end of our meal and the ladies single restroom was very humid. It actually felt like a sauna. It was dirty during the early morning lunch shift. It wasn't the kind of dirty that just happened EWW Now the food....I chose Black Tonkotsu Ramen and honestly the flavor profile was salt! First time here. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. Very pretty decor and air conditioning was set at perfect temperature. Florida restaurants tend to go insane with the a/c resulting in a chilly experience so we really appreciated the restraint at Oodle. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was although service was attentive the kitchen was slow. We ordered the jalapeño poppers as an appetizer. They were served with a very tasty sauce but they took awhile to arrive, which would have been fine but then one of the main dishes came out right after which means it had to sit and cool while we finished the appetizers. I said one of the main dishes came soon after, the TanTan ramen, the other main dish, the classic omurice came out almost 10 minutes later. I think the timing could have been better. Anyway the ramen was in a savory broth with plenty of pork and veggies so no complaints there except that sadly it had cooled considerably. When the omurice arrived it was well presented, hot and delicious. For dessert we ordered the rain drop. Super pretty and yummy. I don't know how long they have been open so that may have been the issue with the timing of the food and the wait staff did say that the food came out when it was ready but still.... Not a lot of regard for ambiance, the front counter could head up any style restaurant. Servers are new. Deliver your order then forget about you. She noted a dirty table, then left it for 30 minutes. Asked for take-out containers. Fifteen minutes later went to find a manager. As for the food, not anywhere near authentic quality. The spicy tonkotsu ramen wasn't. The broth thin and overly salty. The chashu (an extra $3 for two extra pieces which are actually pork belly), over fatty unless you like that. Some do. Thin noodles did soak up some flavor. Pass on the takoyaki with (egg salad?) dressing. The batter is thin and expertly fried but I found two tiny pieces of octopus per ball. Amazing ramen and delicious apps ! I was pleasantly surprised at oodle . I came around happy hour by accident and they had half off beer and a few $ off their sake . For food I got their takoyaki which had an amazing sauce and their fried oysters which were perfectly seasoned . The tan tan ramen was great it was creamy and sesame forward , the spicy tonkastu was also very delicious ; I liked the texture of their noodles a lot , most places have over cooked noodles but these were perfect I would 100% come back :). read more
