    Beef Vermicelli
    Vivian

This review is based on a delivery order so keep that in mind. I ordered the Mango Iced Tea and the Grilled Beef Vermicelli. The Mango Iced Tea was fine. It tasted like a pretty generic iced tea with mango syrup. Nothing bad but nothing memorable either. The Grilled Beef Vermicelli is where everything went wrong for me. Honestly, the whole plate was extremely bland. The beef was probably the biggest disappointment. Even looking at it, there was barely any seasoning. There was some scallion oil on top, but it did not do much to help the flavor. The meat was also insanely tough. For beef sliced that thin, I genuinely do not know how it ended up being that hard to chew. The fish sauce was also really bland, which did not help when the rest of the plate already needed more flavor. The vegetables tasted fresh, but altogether, the dish just was not enjoyable. I kept trying to mix everything together hoping it would get better, but it never really came together. I have been to Pho Superbowl a couple of times before. This was my first time trying the vermicelli here though, and unfortunately, I would not order it again.

My kid hated the pho and wasn't a fan of the egg rolls or chicken spring rolls.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First let me say, I've been here multiple times with different people and it's always the same weird vibe and under flavored/ watered down food[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. (pho broth, fish sauce, sandwich meat in pho ) if you ask for anything paying or not the (wife) will instantly have the most disrespectful, unhappy, bothered, don't talk to me, I hate it here, look on her face,. She starts off nice, but the minute you take something out of your food or you ask for extra anything additional you get attitude, you get ignored, you get rushed and nothing but dirty looks. (Like the whole time and IDK her!) I leave big tips, tried to cheer her up, It's so inappropriate and unwelcoming!! ( It's happened to me like 10 different times) The food is definitely not worth it, There's so many other great pho places out there.. obviously I will not be going back..

What I would like to understand is how you show that you're open until midnight but you close down dining at 11pm. Online says open until midnight. The signs all throughout the shop say open until midnight. So when my lady and I walk in ready to sit down and order, we're a little shocked and frustrated when we are told we'll need to eat quickly because we close in 10 minutes. Definitely disappointing.

Had been craving pho for a while but didn't want to drive to my go to spot all the way in National city, decided to try Pho Superbowl since it's down the street from my home. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but you can park on the street if the plaza is packed. Table for 1 so I was sat right after entering, my waiter was very kind. I ordered the roasted beef spring rolls and steak pho! Man they do not play with their pho bowl sizes, its HUGE , they do not skimp on protein either, I'm a broth lover so I appreciated the huge portion. The spring rolls were tasty as well but the pho stole the show! Definitely my back up pho spot moving forward.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice clean place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fast friendly service. Both the ramen and pho were excellent. The steak pho - use to it with the meat uncooked then add to the bowl as it is eaten. This place cooks it for you before bringing to table. Still delicious. The ramen was served with two tiny eggs. Was expecting four large eggs as shown in menu. Next time I'll ask for extra eggs and extra green onion. We had water to drink and did not try the teas. The owner was kind and packaged our left over soup to go. She showed us how to pour into the plastic container avoiding spillage. Taught us the trick!! The next day our soups were just as good!!

I don't even know where to start. Pho Super Bowl somehow managed to ruin something as simple as pho. The broth was completely bland, yet at the same time had a strong, disgusting tap-water smell and taste. No depth, no richness, no warmth -- just hot, watery disappointment. It honestly tasted like someone filled the bowl straight from the sink and waved a beef bone over it for flavor. The noodles and meat couldn't save it, and the "fresh" add-ins didn't help mask the fact that the soup itself was borderline inedible. Now let's talk about the service -- because it somehow managed to be worse than the food. When we addressed the issue, the manager's response was literally "pay your bill and never come back." As if that was supposed to offend us? Trust me -- that was already the plan. Rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. No apology, no attempt to fix anything, just hostility. Save your money, your appetite, and your time. There are way too many good pho places out there to waste a meal here. We will never be back -- not that they'd ever see us again anyway. Trust me, we wouldn't come back if you paid us. This place doesn't deserve customers, business, or even the name "pho." There are gas stations with better customer service and probably better soup.

Pho & food is always amazing. Service is amazing they treat you like family. :) i always get the chicken pho and love how they're not shy with giving extra limes (gotta have my limes with my pho) lol. Their boba teas and smoothies are great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall a great atmosphere :)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The food was absolutely disgusting -- the pho broth was bland and greasy at the same time, the noodles were overcooked, and the meat tasted old and unappetizing. Nothing tasted fresh, and it honestly felt unsafe to eat. The service was just as bad as the food. Staff were rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping or even acknowledging customers. Orders took forever, and when food finally came out, it was wrong -- and no apology was offered. Overall, terrible food, terrible service, and a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never be returning at the end, the waitress didn't wanna make anything better for anything she told us to pay and don't come back

We had dinner at Pho SuperBowl & Tea Station while staying in SD. The restaurant is clean, bright and spacious. The service was nice, but the only drawback was that the food took forever to come out which is not ideal with young kids. +Thai tea was $6 (a little steep for a restaurant IMO). It was just ok. +Orange chicken - my son liked it ok, but it's definitely not panda good +Beef rib soup - hubs got this and OMG the beef bone was huge. This was by far the favorite of the night. I definitely recommend +Rare beef and well done brisket - it was standard, nothing to write home about Overall the food and service were above average. The only minor cons were the time it took to get the food & an expensive tea. We'd likely come back if we were in the area.

When your boyfriend is sick and your visting San diego just to see him and get him some soup, and he suggest a spot he frequently visits with his girls, you make sure to get him some soup he already loves. Im a huge lover of pho and theres honestly no wrong time to eat soup, but finding good pho where the broth feels like a grandma made it is hard to find. This gem of a location is where its at, we popped in arounf 7:30 after making my way in SD from anaheim and found parking faily quickly in the shopping center. walked in and were gretted by all the staff who were super friendly. We came for a specific thing which is soup because we all know when your down for the count Pho just makes everything better. My bf got some shrim pho and I got the raw steak pho. We also ordered some eggrolls with meat fillling. I had asked for hot tea beacuse im a fan of a good green tea plain, and figured it would also help with his cold, and the super nice waitress suggested there honey tea and aid try it and to order another if we liked it becayse its single cup unlike the pot tea that is usually served. that Tea was soo good, that even tho my bf is super picky on tea he loved it and ended up drinking the whole thing. Our egg rolls arivved with lettuce, noddles and sauce and man were theye hot and fresh, but lemme tell you they were bomb. meaty but a little sweet and savory that if i had to rate this location just based on the rolls it would get 5 stars! Our soup came and it did not dissapoint either, noddles arent too thick, but the broth wasnt bland and had really good flavor too it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall this plae was great the location was super clean and the staff was fantastic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we had originally walked in and got seated it was a bit busy but they cleared out the tables super fast and made the place look ready for more buisness. I know my Bf will be back, but if im in the area and we want some soup I know where we are going. Unfortunately i didnt take pictures of our food snce this was a meal that was for my sick man so camera time wasnt really warranted but ill definitely tke some next time because presentation was great.

I came in hyped because it was an Asian restaurant that opened late near Grossmont. My partner and I ordered veggie egg roll vermicelli salad to share. I was sad to find out the sauce that came with it was very bland. There was only the faintest taste, as if it was diluted with a lot of water. If they mixed together a more flavorful fish sauce, that would greatly improve the dish. Also the egg rolls tasted rather plain, like they were bought from the freezer section in a non-Asian store. Would have liked to see the egg rolls have more variety of veggies in them. When the quality improves, then we wouldn't mind coming back. Service - okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance - soft neon backlight. The Vietnamese cart prop was cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We came here for dinner one night and I ordered their veggie plate while my husband and daughter ordered pho. They had pretty big pho bowls here and their appetizer eggrolls were pretty good as well.

For our mains, we ordered a variety of rice platter dishes including grilled shrimp, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, egg rolls, and a BBQ beef banh mi sandwich--everything was flavorful and satisfying. One thing that really stood out was our waiter, who memorized our entire order without writing anything down--very impressive! I also placed a to-go order for the #99 platter, and everything came out quickly and accurately. We were in and out in under an hour and a half, even during peak dinner time. Pour the fish sauce over the banh beo before eating! They have lots of options for bun bo hue (spicy Vietnamese noodle soup) depending on what toppings you want, and you can choose between the small and large size.
