First let me say, I've been here multiple times with different people and it's always the same weird vibe and under flavored/ watered down food. What I would like to understand is how you show that you're open until midnight but you close down dining at 11pm. Online says open until midnight. The signs all throughout the shop say open until midnight. So when my lady and I walk in ready to sit down and order, we're a little shocked and frustrated when we are told we'll need to eat quickly because we close in 10 minutes. Nice clean place! Fast friendly service. Both the ramen and pho were excellent. The steak pho - use to it with the meat uncooked then add to the bowl as it is eaten. This place cooks it for you before bringing to table. Still delicious. The ramen was served with two tiny eggs. Was expecting four large eggs as shown in menu. Next time I'll ask for extra eggs and extra green onion. We had water to drink and did not try the teas. The owner was kind and packaged our left over soup to go. Came here for the first time with a friend on Wednesday for dinner. The food was mid but the service was okay. The sign says they're open until midnight which is nice since many places don't stay open late post pandemic. We ordered the eggrolls and special combo pho. The most important part of pho is the broth and the broth was not very good. It was pretty watered down and not very flavorful. I was pretty disappointed. The brisket was a thicker slice that came precooked which I wasn't a fan of. The egg rolls were okay but the sauce was watered down as well. They also came with rice noodles too which was kind of weird but I just ate it on the side. The service was good, the waitress was nice and checked in on us. The broth was completely bland, yet at the same time had a strong, disgusting tap-water smell and taste. No depth, no richness, no warmth -- just hot, watery disappointment. The service was nice, but the only drawback was that the food took forever to come out which is not ideal with young kids. +Thai tea was $6 (a little steep for a restaurant IMO). It was just ok. +Orange chicken - my son liked it ok, but it's definitely not panda good +Beef rib soup - hubs got this and OMG the beef bone was huge. This was by far the favorite of the night. I was sad to find out the sauce that came with it was very bland. There was only the faintest taste, as if it was diluted with a lot of water. I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. The pho broth was awful. It tasted gamey, watered down, and honestly didn't even smell right. I wouldn't call it broth at all. It was so bad that the food was left untouched. On top of that, the service was terrible from start to finish. Our food took an extremely long time to come out, and when the pho finally arrived, none of the usual add ins were brought to the table. We had to ask for them and then wait again. When we brought the issue to management and explained that the pho tasted off and smelled wrong, they laughed and did absolutely nothing. No apology, no solution, no offer to replace the dish, and no compensation for food that was clearly not eaten. The sandwich was great, but they don't have pate unfortunately but the meat was great., the bread was really good. The orange chicken came in a plate with rice and salad which we weren't expecting. I thought we were just gonna get straight up orange chicken, so we didn't get much so make sure you are asking if you're getting a whole bowl of orange chicken. We thought it would be worthwhile to give it another opportunity, hoping that improvements had been made since our last visit. Unfortunately, it appears that this place has remained unchanged. The pho soup was diluted and tasted as though it had originated from a pre-packaged source. The beef appeared to be a week old and was added to the soup. The pho lacked flavor. Also, we ordered chow mein with beef, which was overly salty and resembled a frozen meal that had been reheated in a microwave. My children, who typically enjoy pho and chow mein, did not touch it. There was a female server present, who I believe is either the manager or the owner. She has an 'I don't care, don't talk to me' attitude of indifference, suggesting that she did not want to be there and didn't want to serve customers Her demeanor was rude, and she neglected our table. Ultimately, we chose not to consume the flavorless, pre-packaged food. The owners or managers displayed a lack of concern, as they did not inquire about our satisfaction with the food or address any issues. They ignored us throughout our visit. After settling our bill, we departed without leaving a tip due to the subpar food and discourteous service. This Pho Superbowl restaurant is a tremendous disappointment. Do not waste your money here. The ramen available in a grocery store is less expensive and tastes superior. Consider trying Street Pho in Santee instead. There are really affordable prices here. It seemed like most items were less than $15. Although they have great prices, I did not enjoy my meal. The broth for my rare steak pho did not have much flavor at all, and the amount of steak they gave me was so little. Look at the photo and you'll see there are only 4-5 slivers of meat. Never have a been given such a small amount of meat in a pho dish. The spring rolls were not any better, I had the same problem- the shrimp portions were almost see through. Some places cut their shrimp in halves, but here... it looked like they were cut in fourths. Super Bowl is super yummy! This was my second visit an I had the Pho again and it was made fresh to order. Love the broth it was tummy soothing. The cuts of meat were generous as well. We were waited on a really nice young lady that I think just started. She was really sweet and really welcoming as soon as we opened the door and waited on us frequently throughout our dinning. The owner of the place was also present in the front and attentive as well. The place is clean and up-kept dinning experience was good. It can accommodate large groups as well.
