This brewery was worth the trip! One of the few breweries in Wisconsin open on Monday and all the beers I tried were great! I literally tried them all throughout three flights. My favorites were "Toes in the Sand" Sour, "Perky Blonde" coffee blonde, and "Garczynski's Best" pilsner. Dog friendly and board games/cards and chalk for the kids available. Went there last night, and had a flight and a full pour. Some of the beers were great, some were just ok, but service from Shaawn was friendly, and we got to meet the owners. I am sure this would be a great place to visit in summer, where the great looking patio can be enjoyed. I got to wear the big hat! One suggestion I'd make is to make the ordering area a regular bar with stools (with an "order here" sign on either end for people not sitting at the bar) letting people socialize with the bartenders a little more easily like in most taprooms. Went Saturday to watch Packers play and have some good beer. This place is not a sport bar so they really only have 2 tv's. One didn't have sounds so we sat in front and watched a dis pointing game BUT had a good time anyway. With jodi behind the bar recommending the different beers,me and wife had a good time. Very cute! We took the drive up to Ooga in Beaver Dam and enjoyed tasting their variety of animal and gadget named beers. We loved the coffee (local!) infused blonde ale, and plan to be back for more. Their space is inviting, with both outdoor and indoor seating, and you've got a few snacks food items to choose from. Pair that with dinner at a nearby restaurant on the Main Street and you've got a great summer night. read more

Certainly love OOGA! This is an amazing place to just kick back and enjoy a cold brewed beer. Staff members are hardworking, welcoming, and friendly people, so don't be afraid to ask for a sample of their beer! The atmosphere is great, with sunlight illuminating the building- which I like. There is also outdoor seating. The beers are super unique and delicious! They have a pretty extensive drink menu with all their brewed beer only, so no brand-named beers. I was pleasantly surprised with this place! It's in the middle of a small town but it's a beautiful brewery. Their patio has tons of seating with heaters and fire pits for the winter. Inside, there are board games to help keep you entertained. Their craft beer is excellent. Small food menu too! read more

Surprised that a place like this exists in Beaver Dam. A brewery with actually palatable beer. The selection was also surprising, scotch ale, stout, and IPAs amongst the typical ales. The beers actually had depth and didn't taste like your typical home-brewer, watered down variety. Color me impresssed. read more

Absolutely fantastic brewery - we loved the environment, the staff and the beer! My wife is a WI native and we now live in CO... she brought home some crowlers of various brews and we enjoyed them. Very diverse selections - favorites were - Weirdo in the Window - a delicious Hefeweizen, Tows in the Sand - a refreshing Gose and Rocket Slide - a clean & hoppy IPA. I almost forgot - Holla - which is a traditional American Cream Ale that has a very interesting twist of Jalapeño. Being from CO I have tried MANY chilli pepper infused beer - most are overwhelming-- Holla surprised me as it is soooo drinkable and you can taste the Cream Ale and Jalapeño- well done !!! The staff was friendly and like so many of the WI establishments I have visited - folks are welcoming and inclusive. The light snacks they offer are tasty and if you want to, you can order in from local restaurants. Great indoor space - and outdoor patio. We also love the logo - We will be back soon ! read more

This small taproom is a great. The staff is very knowledgeable about the beers on draft. The lagers and specialty beers have been my favorite. The Beaver Dam Pepper and Peaches was surprisingly good - not too sweet. The outdoor seating made it easier to visit during COVID. This is a great spot to spend an afternoon. read more

We stopped here when I was visiting my parents for a few days. I'm from Beaver Dam and am thrilled to see such a hopping (no pun intended) brewery! We usually have nothing to do when we visit after everyone goes to sleep. This was a pleasant surprise. The music and the beers were great. I had the Holla! (Jalapeño Ale) So nice and light in flavor. Often breweries go too far with flavor and the beers we tried were perfectly flavored and not as abrasive as I usually encounter. Great job!! read more

Beer was not bad. They have interesting beer. Nice atmosphere with decent food. I didn't care for most of them. However I did find a couple.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Went there for a band one night that was a local band from beaver dam. I went with a group that graduated with the band members. One of the kids we not 21 but graduated with the band members he was 20. We didn't even go to drink and didn't even go in the bar just was standing on the sidewalk to watch and support a local band. Then we got approached by one of the staffs demanding our ids and when she seen one was only 20 we were told to leave the premises. Then we went into the road cause the one kid just wanted to simply watch his friends play then we were harrassed again saying they own the road as well as the sidewalk and we need to leave the area not ooga actually leave the area or she was calling the cops. If your gonna higher a local band especially that young please have respect for people who just wanna support the band members they went to school with. read more

A great addition to the area featuring their own in-house brewed beer, plus multiple guest taps. At opening, at least, they offered a gluten-free beer from ALT brewing in Madison. Also featured pizzas, pretzels the size of a truck steering wheel, popcorn (thought I haven't tried the food yet). Really nice indoor seating and patio seating options. Great addition to Beaver Dam. It has been at least 50 years (more?) since having a local brew pub with beer made on-site in Beaver Dam. The beer is good--all of them. And they are only just getting started with their brews. They opened in June, 2019 and have been a delight ever since. My favorite so far is Holla! a light colored beer with a tiny tiny hint of jalapeno pepper. Normally I don't like beer foo-foo'd up with fruit or vegetables, but this beer is crisp and refreshing. Seating inside and outside is nice, music is not too loud, and you can find plenty of room to meetup with friends. I wish they were open later, but this is not a "tavern" or local watering hole--there are a dozen of those already in the zip code. Pizzas are good, pretzels are amazing--but I don't come for the food. Rumor has it that some other local addresses are spinning up some foodie options for the beer patrons.
